Great experience at Vedic Lifecare Hospital !!!The staffs at the front desk were very helpful upon my visit. Their service was very swift and the staffs were ready to listen to all my complaints. I also watched how they attended to a pool of patients and I must say they have an awesome customer service. My encounter with the doctor was very relieving and reassuring because I was convinced I entrusted my health with an expert. It is very obvious that they have well experienced and good doctors.I even had to do an online consultation for a follow-up and not only was I connected to the doctor very quickly, I also had my drugs delivered to me at home ASAP.I still get calls from their call center just to check up on me.My experience at Vedic Lifecare Hospital was wonderful and I would recommend them to anybody anytime πŸ‘

THEY ARE ALL ABOUT MONEY NOT PATIENT CARE !!!My mom had a surgery at this hospital a little over a year ago and at first everything was fine - she had a a hip replacement and it costs fortunessss !A year later , she started having pains again and they are now telling her she needs another hip replacement.Mind you , the one one she had was supposed to last Atleast 10 years !!!She went back and they made an appt with an OBGYN instead of an Orthopedic Surgeon !This is crazy !! This hospital should be shut down !

My experience with him Mr Sanket was not unpleasant neither did he spend time to review my condition and hurriedly referred me to conduct MRI when I had scan results and x-ray I felt he could ve used to conduct preliminaryinvestigationonmy case. . When I first got..to his office, he sent me out because he was on the phone. I found that a very shocking treatment of a customer.. my previous visits to the hospital have been pleasant and doctors and nurses very impressive even other Indian doctors were very supportive and professional.

In response to the reply of the management to my previous review.Like you rightly pointed out, he was kept alive by some good doctors but unfortunately the good work of some can be undone by just one bad egg. Speaking of updates, they were well appreciated and kept us connected with the team however the said dr Fasina vehemently refused to give the usual updates as carried out by her colleagues and we got whatever piece of info at her discretion. What are the chances of reinfection of a covid patient after 3 weeks of a severe infection if kept for a day or two to address emergent issues? All we expected was not to be literally forced out when he was still quite unstable and not ready for a transfer. He had significant electrolyte abnormalities and he was beginning to have new respiratory issues that needed to be stabilized before commencing any transfer. The doc literally disturbed us all day to transfer him to another facility despite the obvious. As soon as he arrived at the new facility he passed on.God ultimately is the great healer but we as doctors should realize our role as his instruments.Amaka

I am sharing this review for the benefit of anyone who may need hospital care in Lagos. We had a bad experience overall that led to the death of the patient involved. Some of the drs we got were good but some were terrible and clueless. Unfortunately we had a new doctor every week.Series of tests which were not interpreted and utilized appropriately and there were lack of tests which may have helped in medical intervention. We often heard stories like the lab isn’t working or chest X-ray wasn’t working. Critical labs came back late and it was difficult to monitor progress or deterioration.Dr Fasina especially needs to work on her bedside manners and interaction with families. She came off as rude and in a hurry with no time to spare. Literally transferred a sick patient out of their hospital when she saw she had nothing more to offer. Doctors before her had stabilized him but she couldn’t complete the process or at least wait until urgent issues were addressed.I wish I had the chance to redo this again but I can’t. If you have a family member who needs medical care, I would avoid this hospital.

Been visiting them now for about 2 years now. Probably would give them a 5/10 for overall experience. The last visit was Definitely one of the worst experiences visiting a hospital. Had a terrible ear infection with head numbing pain. After driving 2.5 hours in traffic only to get to a 24 hospital and find out that there is only one doctor on call after 5pm.I tell the front desk officer that it is an emergency and even go ahead to ask her what constitutes an emergency in their hospital.Anyways, long short, it is only when I start crying uncontrollably that the doctors get to me only to tell me they dont have the tool needed to check my ear... are you freaking kidding me? It is the most basic equipment!!!They go round the hospital looking for it and cant find it so because of that they cant run any test or do a swab, absolutely Ridiculous! The doctor lets me lay down for a bit cause I can barely see at this point, she gives me a charger head for my phone so I can call someone to come get me.After enquiring what happens next, they call the ENT remotely, issue me some drugs (1 of which I later find out I didnt need) and send me on my way.Needless to say that I will not be visiting this hospital again any time soon.I will also be calling my HMO provider to make sure there are no ridiculous charges associated with my name. Cause as far as I am concerned, I wasnt attended to and if I was in any other country might even sue for negligence!! Again I say, vedic make sure you did not put any useless charges in my name cause you and I will now have serious problems. And by the way, if you are sensitive about Covid-19 probably not the best place to go. They are not the most proactive with Covid-19 prevention protocols (probably why their first location caught a case and is now an isolation center).

Vedic is providing medical services at a cost and should be more responsive to patients needs, a situation where there is just one doctor attending to everybody on a week day making patients to spend hours just to see a doctor is quite sad. A situation where drugs recommended by Dr is not in shelve and you have to come the following day for it is sad too. Customer service at Vedic is professional and they do their best to calm patients but if medical services are not prompt and effective, then the management need to look inwards. I have heard of the inhuman attitude of this hospital and how they approach patients without care or professionalism, against wise counsel my family choose to go with them on how HMO plan because of the proximity to our homeTonight I went there with my 2yr old and 8yr old girls because they both were coughing, we got there and the waiting game started. It took about 45mins to see a nurse to take their vitals and after the nurse eventually showed up it’s was some flimsy excuse given. I thought the wait was over and we would see a doctor momentarily, I was wrong. My daughters became restless, they kept pestering me when they will see the doctor and they want to go home to sleep I had to constantly appease my girls to wait that the doctor was attending to another very ill person, the wait was more 2 hours long, no word from the receptionist who was busy watching a movie on the desktop and the other helpful guy could not get a definitive response from the hospital whether we will see a doctor or not.The hospital was near empty, no patients were waiting, in fact it was just myself along with my girls and one other person who needed to see the doctor but they were acting like there was an emergency in the hospital (there was not because all the nursing staff on duty were busy strolling about the premises as if they no job to do)We left the hospital without seeing a doctor and without any explanation why a doctor on duty didn’t care about children enough to see them. This hospital is just like any other Nigerian hospital, they don’t care about their patients, don’t let anybody or their fancy building fool you otherwisePSGoogle won’t let me give them no star, so disregard the one star I gave them, they deserve no star at all.

Customer service is zero. They kept me waiting with a baby for about an hour just to see a doctor. Quite a number of us were waiting and were given numbers, I had number 4 and watched almost 10 people enter before me. By the time the lady who had #3 got in out of annoyance, the Dr told her to go out that he was going on his break. Come on, who does that? Send a patient out cos you wanted to go on break? There are seamless ways of transiting without going into nitty gritty with your clients.. at this time, I was upset and decided to take my leave. A lady came around persuading me to wait that they were trying to reach another doctor... it was such an annoying experience . Just to mention, not the 1st time. So you admit you sent her to India on a wrong prognosis (higher standard diagnosis??) I thought you pride yourself in having state-of-the-art equipment.2. Out of the 20 million patients you CLAIM to have treated, how many medical negligence cases have you had?? How many cases have you had with NCOR (National Consumer Disputes Redressal). I cite cases of Mr & Mrs Alfred Benedict ( where the forearm of a toddler was wrongfully AMPUTATED !!!) and the journalist Chitra Duella. We have also met with 3 Nigerians with similar cases like ours3. This is definitely another medical negligence case that will be escalated to EVERY relevant body in India and Nigeria if the needful is not done.4. Evidence of what do you have?? Of how the patient got bacteria meningitis from the operation? Or the big bed sore on her back that she developed under your watch? Or the bilateral stroke she now has?PS: The patient walked into the hospital her self with just back pains

HOW VEDIC/MANIPAL KILLED MY MUM DuE to MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE AND AFTER EXTORTING US:My mother, juliet Mojirayo was diagnosed with degenerative Lumber canal stenosis with instability and scoliosis at L4-5 & L3-4 at vedic lifecare hospital, Lagos with known diabetes and hypertension before leaving Nigeria with a maximum budget of $10,000 from Manipal hospital in India. We were shocked when at the point of surgery at Manipal hospital, Bengalore that the total surgery fee doubled as claims were made that her spines were compressing her veins. We find this very unprofessional as the x-ray & MRI Scan was reviewed by them before initial costing and decided to speak with the interface, Akash, in Nigeria to liase with Manipal to no avail. The revised fee of $20,000 was paid in full. The surgery was done on the 4th of December and she was discharged on the 8th of December. On the 14th of December, my mum was feeling weak, had fever and body pains. My brother, Tobi, reported to the hospital and blood/urine samples were taken. The doctor refused to admit her as he claimed she had no money in spite of the $20,000 paid. They gave her antibiotics in form of drip and sent her to home.I did a video call with my mum on the 16th of December and was shocked that she could barely move the right part of her face and was suffering from memory loss. I immediately alerted the doctor and he reiterated that she was not admitted due to lack of funds. She was admitted through the emergency ward on the same day after realising how critically deteriorated she was.On December 19, results showed that she had bacteria meningitis which led to stroke and urine infection due to complications from the spinal surgery and she was transferred to the ICU (@ N500,000/night), with another estimated bill of $12,500 which is outrageous and a total rip off.We suspect these complications occurred due to1. negligence, as routine checks and tests were not carried out after surgery2. unprofessionalism, due to unfounded claims of lack of funds. When we couldnt meet up with the payment as our outstanding bill was about 12million, The hospital decided that we get the medications outside which was estimated beteeen N120,000-N150000 per day. Which we had to run helter skelter to make sure she gets her medications. In all of it Vedic life Care Lekki never gave us any form of support as the last time we heard from the interface was 27th of Dec. We also paid a visit to Vedic life care on the 11th of March to see the Center Manager Kumarnswamy B.S to help intervene and provide a space for her in Vedic lifecare since they recommended her as Manipal wants to discharge my mum with her present condition asides us trying to gather about N4.5 million naira(flight as she was coming in a stretcher, A nurse escort and my brother) to bring her back to Nigeria. As I type the Center manager has been Ignoring my calls.Vedic LifeCare uses every avenue to lure unsuspecting Nigerians to their parent hospital in India. They make sure they drain you financially. In the first week in March, the doctor who did the spine surgery told my brother to look for a way to bring her back to Nigeria with no remorse whatsoever cos he already knew her days were numbered and they had not closed the surgery wound nor the big bed sore on her bum. All thanks to my uncle who visited the hospital and insisted they must close the surgery wound and bedsore. My mum died 14th of April 2019 due to multiple failure organs which she never had issues with before she left.If you must go to India(which I wouldnt recommend, Please go to the US, UK or Germany), please make sure a doctor who has no affiliation with any hospital in India recommends one as I just realized that Vedic lifecare has a percentage for recommending patients to Manipal hospital and they hands off like they didnt recommend you.
