I really enjoyed my last-minute stay!Staff and management are friendly, accommodating and go above and beyond.The rooms are a good size, exceptionally clean and cosy. I got a great nights sleep and look forward to coming again. Sadly, I had no time for breakfast.All I’m all, my new favourite boutique hotel in Lagos!update: the door staff (security men etc) were not entirely helpful on my last visit and it was quite off-putting. Edith at front desk was AMAZING!

Its a nice place but I had a problem with my room because it had an elevated section which my kids kept falling from when I requested for a change of room there was no available room to change. And the water is not clean so u might need to buy ur drinking water because they only give 1 bottle of water. But in all it is a very nice place. I enjoyed my stay.

Its a pleasant ambiance, although I think the check in time should be reviewed as I had to sit and wait for 2 hours because it wasnt check out time yet. I think a certain number of rooms should be reserved for emergencies.This customer service is very good and I think I would recommend it to a friend. Had plants all around and great artwork too.

The room was basic. Internet and food were okay. I booked for 2 adults which was supposed to cover complimentary breakfast for two but was given for only 1 person. We begged for an extra towel, room wasn’t cleaned properly and towels weren’t changed. Service charge was quite high, they charged 17.5% for vat and service charge. I had to park outside, no option of getting my car washed. I will definitely not be going back

It was a delightful stay... Very courteous staffs, lovely interiors and very quiet. I really did enjoy my weekend stay at the Gate House.

So Im not one to write reviews but itll be a Sin not to rate these guys. I initially booked a nights stay but ended up extending to 3. Their customer service was Wonderful, Splendid and Spectacular. Very clean with tasty food too. Home away from home isnt a cliché with the Cate House. Keep it up guys👌🏾

One of the best place I have been in Lagos. From Check-in to room services to checkout, everything is way to organized. Home away from home. 5 star experience, Hospitality - the way it should be 👌🏼Unfortunately I forgot my wristwatch at the hotel and when I called the receptionist (NONYE) after 2 days, I was surprised to hear that my watch is safe and I can collect it anytime I wish.Keep up the good work 👍🏼I will surely be back to stay with THE CATE HOUSE again.

Ahhhh 🙆🙆.... That place is the B.O.M.B, the workers there are just too awesome.. shoutout to Kelvin and Precious and the rest cleaning the rooms and the chefs ...they are just too perfect. Lovely rooms, watched alot of tv and its much closer to places we visited around and the food 😭😘😘😘 Its heavenly 👏👏👏👏... The spaghetti Bolognese and the fish burger killed me. And to wrap it up, the internet was not from this world, it was like they had the satellite in the house. It was fast, downloaded movies, streamed my Netflixs movies etc. And listened to radio stations online. Its a getaway place for everyone.

This is a very fine hotel in the heart of Victoria Island. Looking for a budget serene hotel around Victoria island of Lagos? Then think the Cate House. The ambience is really peaceful. Amazing kitchen with a mix of both continental and local cuisines accompanied by very chilled drinks. The staff here give you a personal treat. The parking lot is wheelchair accessible likewise the entrance. You also have a beautiful view of the bar beach tower. The road leading here at some point is a little bad at the moment. Nothing to worry about as soon as you are in. Looks really secured too. To be honest you are a stone throwing from malls, salon, spar, gym ...

No sign board outside, was difficult finding it, rooms very below average for the price they called, reception toilet not clean

Simply put...The Cate House is the real definition of HOSPITALITY... their customer service is second to none... they place the customer first in everything they do... they are pretty straightforward and upfront about everything (no surprises).. had a staycation with my peeps and we totally loved it... definitely going back... I will recommend The Cate House to anyone looking for a decent home away from home... You guys rock!

Now, I didnt get to lodge here because there was no room available, but the aroma of food from the restaurant made me regret not completing my reservation the previous day. Small looking place but nicely set and the ladys at the reception nailed it. Very professional. Also the rates are wonderful for VI. Really, try this place out.

Cate House is a suitable place for a weekend getaway. Its location is outside the noisy area, just in front of the Eko Gymn. With moderate price, suitable for anyone. The rooms are cozy and inviting.

Home away from home.spent 6days there and it was a wonderful experience.The best place I have ever stayed in Lagos.Is a well packaged hotel that you would want to visit over again starting from d food,room,laundry,staff infact everything was awesome and I had a swell time.Rooms smells real good as well every part of the hotel .Will visit again.

The dry cleaning service close at 8pm which is too early and wont open till 8am which is too late for early starters. Aside this, its a nice cosy place.
