I think the young Man at the other end of the phone must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed today. He was sarcastic and condescending needless to say rude. All I asked was the procedure to determine if my laptop power adapter which doesn’t work is under warranty. Customer service today was terrible. Calling back to ask which mail I should send required documents to....customer service blocks my calls I waited for a time then called again same thing. So I sent a text asking him to call back (following due protocol) he hasn’t till now. Customer service has not helped an Hp client and is wasting my precious work time
I think they are good. However, asking customers to move their equipment to the vehicle by themselves was not so good. I think there is need for them to create a unit that will be handling that, even if the service will be paid for .
They have good customer service but they need more knowledge of handling equipment and confirming part availability before payment.They broke the tip of my laptop battery, their engineers are not careful enough.I transferred money to their Citibank acct for a laptop part and now they are telling the part has gone obsolete, arent they aware of that before they told me to pay? It is weeks now and am yet to get a refund from their Citibank in America. Until my refund is made, I will then come back to this review and erase it.
Quite professional service delivery. The Authorised Service Centre run by Hinckley Group caters to all hp products - desktop, laptop, printers, scanners, servers etc.The Centre has knowledgeable technicians who will resolve most, if not all; issues you may have with your equipment. The reception area is quite friendly - managed by warm individuals who attend to customers queries, respond to calls and provide assistance. Services may seem pricey. However, you are certain of getting genuine hp certified spares.I changed my laptop battery and it was a nice experience.

I have used their service TWICE and each time they failed to send me any mail regarding the cost of the repairs. I have to call and go back to their office to know it. The first time, there was an indentation on side of my laptop and a crack at the bottom cover.
I gave them one star but I would have given zero if I could. I had my laptop in there since February and it’s currently July. They didn’t do anything at all to fix my laptop and kept giving excuses even while it was under warranty. After making so many excuses, time passed and they claimed it was obsolete but I didn’t mind paying the money and they still gave excuses. Very bad customer service as well and they are uncoordinated and confused. Was a complete waste of my time and I will not recommend.

My HP laptop developed a fault with the keeypad mis functioning, I was unable to make use of it and was disturbed by it.. Later on I took it to this authorised Hp service center. They fixed it and now my laptop Is in good condition again. So hence fort if I have similar issue I would love to visit them as they are professional in their field..
Horrible, wanted to replace the motherboard of my printer only to be told itll cost me N25,000. Went into the market and got it replaced for N9,000 (inclusive of labour).Hp can do better if I must say, how can you charge an amount higher than the cost of the printer itself...

If youre driving here, parking space is very difficult to get within the premises. Both times I visited the place, I had to go park at New Horizons where I was charged a parking fee. Before they perform a diagnosis of your device, youll be asked to pay #1500 for initial diagnosis. Both times I went there, I had to wait quite a while before I was attended to, about an hour on both occasions. The cost of replacing parts on my laptop was really on the high side, way above what I would get at Computer Village, #32000 for a keyboard and #22000 for a battery. All in all, their processes seem well documented and they are a recognised HP authorised service center so the authenticity of their replacement parts should be guaranteed which is more than I can say for parts youd get at computer village for a much lesser price. Not sure how they handle products that are still under warranty though. Was upset about the parking issue so I only gave 2 stars. Their exact office is difficult to locate, youd have to ask around once you get to Obafemi Awolowo House.
First encounter, very poor first impression. It is quite baffling that one has to wait hours on end to collect a device for which one was called and told has been repaired. Why call me to say that my device has been fixed so I can make payment, only to then be kept waiting and waiting, especially with very impolite staff.
I went there to change my Dell laptops keyboard. They changed it for me and I got it within 24 hours. I am still observing the keyboard.
Hinckley didnt give me the wow experience I expected. After making a call before going to their Ikeja office to fix a broken screen of HP envy x2 with the power button and I was told to bring the laptop, only to get there and was told no part again for the screen. I even said what about the power button , the response was no

I went here to change my laptops fan. I waited 2 hours for the technician to come. After collecting N1,500 for diagnosis (bear in mind I already told them what I wanted) I was informed that the fan was not available,however they can service my existing fan for N8k. Ridiculous when the going rate for a new system fan is N5k. All of this without opening the laptop.Just go to computer village. These guys processes are slow, tedious and extortionate. A waste of time.

Terrible! They are sluggish unresponsive, and very likely to steal parts from your computer. They are extremely rude, unprofessional and everyone there seems unmotivated and incompetent. I know more about computers than 99 percent of the people I met there and I am not even top 100 most knowledgeable in my circle.This place needs to be shut down and sold for parts.

This is about the HP service center in ikeja.My first impression is that they after money when your equipment is out of warranty.It could be different for an equipment that is still covered.They gave me me a very outrageous price for a replacement, something I could solve for less than 2 percent of their bill if I enter computer Village.Milking Nigerians without conscience.

The service centre was professionally managed... The mail confirmation came bit late. But the required job was done to satisfaction... Reduced one star as many staff not wearing mask, ppe during this covid period... Parking was not much problem in such a busy location

They actually couldnt solve the problem on my system.They have to tell me to pay a sum of #30k on a system that cost #59k just because of keyboard malfunctioning issue...and this is a system that is still on a warranty...too bad.
Took my laptop there 4 times and had to chase them and make a fuss until I was able to get the issue resolved. They are unprofessional and unenthusiastic about answering your questions and providing solutions. It really wasnt a good experience.

No expertise at all.. I paid diagnosis fees of 1500#, only to get a shocking response after waiting awhile that it cant be repaired. They couldnt even tell what the fault was about. I took same laptop to roadside repairers and guess what! My laptop is working perfectly fine now. You guys need experts and not some quacks.

They do their job well, especially on my laptops broken hinge. Just that they ought to be careful next time; noticed new tiny scratches.
Their customer relation is good but they do not seem to understand one my problem. Eventually, I left with my biggest problem unresolved, however, I think they offered their best.

They tried to sell me a new charger for N10000 instead of a cable for N1000. I felt they took too long with their tests so I asked them to test my charger against a new cable. I found there was nothing wrong with my charger, only the cable needed replacement.

Very bad service. They dont act professional in any way. They dont keep to there words and on top of that had to call repeatedly for the status of my device and nobody was giving me a meaningful response. The person would say let me check and wont get back to me. In the end I didnt see the reason for paying three times the price that the local repair man gave to me. You just pay so high for a bad service.

My laptop came back less than what it wasI took my laptop here to replace the battery and to my greatest surprise, my laptop was tampered with. My earpiece doesnt work anymore. My beats by dre speakers now sounds like a cheap sound system. And my screen always has a white light on it, even when the laptop is switched off. It was a very sad experience and i will never go back to this store.

Customer service is very poor. After paying for what they called “rapid diagnosis” I stayed there for another 2hrs to know what was wrong with my laptop. They said they would have to change the motherboard. But what I noticed what they also told the same to three other people. I went out to the roadside guys in computer village and got it fixed in les than 30mins. I think they should get better engineers. I regretted ever going there.
