Nice place to visit, courteous reception, and they are working really hard to eliminate touts.
Beautiful landmark. Recent renovations of the building has made it more attractive.
The building is a beautiful sight to behold indeed......but the customer care service provider was not really welcomingIt was a big time turn off for me
A corporate office place with good records
It houses the first citadel of higher learning
Fabulous place, please walk into the office to get your information, even the time promised is long, you can be sure you will get the right assistance. Do not patronise touts hanging outside the gate of the office.
A beautiful and busy environment with courteous staff.
The WAEC office is a building housing several offices. WAEC stands for West African Examination Council. The building is recently refurbished into an ultra modern type. The road network leading the WAEC office building is fair enough.
Nice Environs and very easy to locate.
Such a shinny picture, who yall kidding
The West Africa Examination Council headquarters has a sprawling building right at the junction of Hussey street. The council is responsible for examinations conducted at mid and end of high school (secondary school) as we call it here. It has about 10 floors or more, its a yellow and royal blue coloured so it is hard to miss.It is opposite the famous Yaba Polytechnic and can be very busy as the traffic in and out of the council is quite heavy. There is usually vehicular traffic at the junction of Hussey street and can heavy too.
I love the area because I work around there
The West African examination council National office is located at number 21 Hussey street yaba, Lagos. It is a huge building with about 15 floors. It is designed with a clour yellow and blue touches. It is well secured and can be easily accessed. It is directly in front of yaba college of technology. It has one major entrance into it and the receptionist office is there at the ground floor.
There is a bar opposite the building and its cool
The almighty waec office is supposed to be more suffisticated and secured anyway
Great place.Good relations
Quite organised and well structured
For enquiries about waec results and certificates. They do not give certificates there
Excellent customer service
Great place for education in West Africa..
The road leading to this place is small so expect traffic in the evenings and I heard its not that safe at night
Waec is a cooperative office, its a national waec office. The office is a great one with super infrastructural facilities that enable fast and easy work. The staff are highly social and law abiding citizens. The human resources enables workforce for a great output. Theres no discrimination of gender or tribes.
Pretty magnificent building in Yaba. One of the tallest. Hard to miss. The police officers are nice, so is the receptionist. It is located very close to yabatech. I went there for a confirmation of result after going from the waec office in jakande, to ogba, ogba finally referred me here. So best you come straight here for it. I would attach the requirements so that if that is what you are going for, you could make it just one trip. I was really in awe of their building though when compared to that of Neco.
Elegant buildings, security conscious, personnel are dedicated and very helpful. Health safety is Paramount. Stables power supply
As the centre of WAEC Lagos. The place is opened for all enquiries.
Processes now well defined, but outrageously expensive
I did my WAEC verification in WAEC office. First I noticed there is a police woman at the entrance, was friendly and directed me to reception for enquiries. The lady at the reception was friendly. She asked what I came to do and asked if I have the required documents. The then directed me to the floor. WAEC office has parking space, though not too big but its fair enough. There is two functional lift for people who do not want to use stairs. Then the offices departments and floor numbers are written downstairs so you could easily identify the floor where the office you are looking for is. When I was done with filling forms and submitting the required documents. I was asked to go and pay for the logistics company at the customer care . The customer care is entirely different building from the main building. Its a small building just at the extreme of the parking space. It was a good experience and I was attended to fast.
Its my workplace, a peaceful and beautiful environment.
Good customer serviceGood staff who are ready to assist you.
World standard Examining body with highly motivated staff
Very good place
Just opposite Yabatech, the high rise building is easy to spot with the WAEC logo well positioned so that you’ll never miss the building. It’s colors are bright yellow and deep blue WAEC colors. If you haven’t gotten your original WAEC results, this is where to get them.
The place is customer friendly and all protocols of COVID19 are adhered to.
Lovely office
Well structured services. I expected less when I visited, but I was disappointed. 88% of staff are very competent and structured. I went to process the WES evaluation and it was swift (within the estimated time). Im truly impressed
Everything seems in order and business like.
Its 62yrs old! An iconic structure in the centre of Yaba. Shes old enough that her children her numerous and students of today still prepares for her coming! Like the messiah. Its the administrative building of the West Africa Examination Council. From here the management plans for how exams will be conducted in West Africa and structures curriculum for national need.Business seeking contracts are to report at the building for validation and for job seekers. Yaba office is your best bet.
Pick up center for West African Examination Council Certificate
Centrally located for easy access from multiple routes.
Nice building and reminds me of my high school days.
Its the waec office. If you need anything, just walk in and ask .
Good place with beautiful views
Nice place
Easy to locate. Clumsy parking arrangement for visitors
This is the headquarters of West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Nigeria.WAEC organizes the Senior secondary school certificate examinations efficiently and effectively: both the May/June examination and October/November examination each year in Nigeria. In Nigeria, the alternative to WAEC is NECO.This WAEC Yaba office complex is the center that coordinates all the other WAEC offices/branches/outlets (such as zonal and area offices) in Nigeria. If one is interested in verification of ones WAEC results for job or academic or immigration purposes, especially with foreign agencies like World Education Services (WES); this WAEC Yaba office is the only location one can do so.Ill add some pictures later.
Its a very mighty building for a good landmark
Good and friendly customer relation
They give out meaningful info.
Institution of Academic stardard all over some west African countries.
This place looks just fine from the outside. Looking at the building from outside one would expect theres a parking lot underground but no, the parking space in the premises cannot even accommodate all their staff. I personally feel the charge on getting your WAEC result evaluated and payment for delivery should come as one and not paying double and exorbitantly for one evaluation. I commend the two ladies at the reception/enquiry desk, they are ethically sound, carrying out their duties with utmost respect for themselves and others.
I expected so much from visiting this place but what I met and experienced was way far below my expectations. The 1st major challenge was the parking space which was not readily available and visitors therefore are left with the option of parking along the road.I met a very long queue and information regarding how to navigate other parts of the building was a bit confusing. Theres usually a long wait for getting most things done. The elevator is so old but works fine nonetheless.
Busy environm5
Adequate service delivery. The facility can be better maintained.
Very clean and ventilated
Very calm and ever busy environment, where one gets waec original certificate
The staff are nice and friendly. But they still insist on cash payment and only one elevator works and it is also very slow.
Brilliant
Twas really a good time here although at the E-facilities, I had a very nice welcoming on the faces of the staffs starting from the reception to the walkways and then to the offices, coming to the aspect of the structure and location, i love its location easy to get to directly opposite the yaba college of technology, a great and beautiful building I have some pictures to backup my review here, wow twas absolutely lit and okay, I give a big thumbs up 👍 to everyone at the waec office, words just cant express my feelings about the WAEC headquarters office (YABA).
Nice building, friendly people
Fine place but have malfunctioned lift. I used stairs to get to floor 12 from 1 because of malfunctioning lift.I was sceptical of being trap in there cos I noticed that their lift is malfunctioning.
This is the West Africa examination body in Nigeria that pass as the headquarters for the countrys regional offices
Though set in the architecture of the 80s, WAEC Office Yaba stands out as a landmark. Her staff are very courteous and willing to attend to visitors enquiries.
Good
Nice
Youd find a not very interesting front desk representative, however, youd be properly guided as to what you need
I think the environment is good, and also the workers/staffs are nice people.
Awesome
Delayed service due to Covid-19
I didnt really get it, I was along my route for the day
Its an organized institution

Normal office place that manages exams for final year students in secondary schools
I strongly believe the operations of this office can be a lot more better. I was hear and it really sad I tell you how things are done here
Ok
Ok
The place was quiet
Professionals all round.
Cool and reliable place to get every necessary info needed
Quite a well secured place with sufficient parking space... It opening hours start from 8:00am and closes by 5pm.beasy to locate at the Yaba axis. A place tong t all forms of waec certificate that includes the Give certificate. A massive building that has so many offices and hopeful could contain at least more than 500 workers.
Remember how sweaty you were from writing that tough subject during WAEC that year? Well, phew! youre in for some fresh sweatiness.1. Wear comfortable shoes and clothings2. Do not use the elevators! (Theyre obnoxiously slow), Take the stairs instead.3. If youre there to process your documents to WES, go before noon!4. Hold on to loose change as you might be needing them for printing, photocopies etc.5. I repeat, do not take the elevators!!!
#WAECoffice is the main exam organizing body in west Africa.they impartial organization responsible for final accessment of secondary school leavers. They have track record of successfully organizing examination over several year in the psst.WAEC also organizes examination for private candidates .
Nice
Easy to locate
Clumsy if you dont know someone on the inside
The WAEC office is a very refreshing place. Once you go in, you are welcomed into a fully air conditioned athmosphere and by smiling receptionists who are ready to answer your questions.
Nice place with good people to attend to you
My office and my mode of being blessed by God
