I love University of Lagos! There is such an inviting ambience when one drives into this great citadel of learning. No wonder it is the university of first choice and the nations pride.From the majestic gate to the beautiful roads you will enjoy your stay here whether as a guest or a student.There are taxis to move you from one place to the other. Walk ways are available for those without cars.A church and a mosque can be found on campus as well as Internet cafes, restaurants provision stores, book shops and banks.The university that can be assessed by land and water, promises to create a unique experience to all who enters through her gates.

Beautiful environment with awesome structures

I visited this place for an oratorio in one of its auditoriums. It is a well planned campus environment. Serene but alive. The buildings are old but strong and well maintained. It has a lot of halls for events.

Great institution with multiple entry that gives access to people living with disabilities, wearing of mask is compulsory otherwise entry wont be allowed .

A conventional university located at yaba lagos under goes programme for undergraduates, post graduate and phd in science,art and social science.

Unilag has been and is still one of the best Universities in Nigeria although they are coming behind my Alma mata, Federal University of Technology Akure in Ondo State...😀...Unilag has many departments and faculties, sport complex and many more amenities and my visit to their Meteorological automatic weather station swept me off my feet....

Peaceful as always. Good ambience. But smelly toilets. No floor opening for stagnant water to pass through.

The school is all right. It has a nice scenery and places to hang out with your friends. The only main attraction worth visiting is the Lagoon front.

Unilag is superb, has cleaner air than most part of Lagos and the view of the lagoon from the back of the University is breathtaking

Unilag ambience is second to none and a secured too. You would love the scenery and most especially the views from the lagoon front.

I was at the sport centre and I loved it, the school is bigger than I imagined

It is a federal University located in Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. The main entrance is close to Federal College of Education (Technical).It is a nice with several Hostels for student who wish to live within the campus.

Proper school, always bubbling with life and energy. Drop off points are not too far from buildings - if youll be going by means of public transport. Calm and serene learning environment

I expected more than what I saw. UNILAG is overrated. Although, everybody there appears to be nice and academically minded, but the maintenance of her infrastructure is abysmally low.

Is a very innocent place to visit

A lovely academia with about 7 faculties. It has about 8 female hostels and 4 male hostels. It has a library and other bookshops.

The University of Lagos still got its shine, with bustling academic and non-academic activities adorning the citadel. In that thrown-in part of Akoka, its always a delight to see the school whose seaside back you admire anytime you pass by Third Mainland Bridge. Old and young, people move in all directions in search of one educational pursuit of the other, and also in search of business..

It’s a school. So school rules apply. Friendly environment , water front and parking. Nice spaces to learn driving and biking. Tried fishing a couple of times. Very secure.

Great learning environment

Im really not sure how to review Unilag seeing as all I had to do over there was write an examination in one of their halls. I was at the university for just 2days because the course/certification I was sitting for had me assigned to the school. Overall the experience was great, environment was quiet and serene- the parts of the schoolI walked through; it did remind me though of my time back in school (Babcock University, I graduated 2014).Sitting in that hall reminded me of the classes, the tests, examinations, my friends back in school, my lecturers e.t.c. It was such a nostalgic moment, the feeling didnt last long though lol as I was more focus on why I was in another class now and trying to wrap up my reading for this course; filled with over 300 people that shows you learning never ends and people are always making plans (Nigerians most especially) to better their lives and chances in this difficult side of the world.After my last paper today, I worked into one of the student restaurants and I got myself a plate of jollof rice and spicy goat meats; it was absolutely delicious. Whats life without a bit of heat and spice 🥰🥰🥰😂😂.

I was there briefly on a visit. I did not enjoy the road that led to the school. Too rough with lots of potholes. The school is beautiful with lovely scenery. I wish the public restrooms were neater though.

Conducive environment plus there are a lot of restaurants, shops and kiosks with different varieties of goods in display.

Certainly a place to be, offering more than just the ivory towers... You would enjoy it.

Unilag is quite a good school but being an engineering student and also having friends in other faculties that are science related. I can say that facilities that will TECHNICALLY help the students in the outer space are not working or outdated or just explained surface wise. Most of the time, equipments needed for my final year projects were in other schools (that were seemingly in competition with Unilag)It was quite discouraging because lecturers would sometimes express their bitter attitude towards students which could result to affecting their results, while some lecturers try to prove they are extremely knowledgeable and no one could pass their course by deliberately giving tough questions beyond our comprehension.I am seeing most reviews based on the ambience of the environment, but not the educational system within the school.Though this does not negate the fact that there are some lecturers who are good and willing to pour themselves for their students but the bad eggs outweigh the good ones.

The atmosphere was quite cool but there was traffic to and fro.

It is quite clean, pleasant environment and quiet to read and relax. It is truly a prime place to be.The University Management ensures that the neatness is standard.

University of Lagos has everything youd expect to see on a university campus - from ATMs to supermarkets, banks to small businesses, a petrol / service station and of course, dozen of food outlets in all shapes and sizes (good food at affordable prices provided you know where to look 🙂).

Its a good environment for learning. Quite spacious, well structured, good architecture and a serene environment. Its a lovely view with amazing people.

University of Lagos is a federal university in Nigeria. Cool and Serene environment. Has several Faculties ranging from sciences to Arts to Business Administration to Engineering to Law and Environmental sciences. They have a well capacious sport centre. This school is also the only university with Lagoon front in Nigeria. It offers accomodation to students inside the school which doesnt cater for all students due to limited bed spaces. It has a Central Mosque and Churches where students can worship. This Citadel of learning has produced great ambassadors and it still tops the chart of the best universities in Nigeria.(Thats on a periodt)

My alma mater, the best in social academics! Enjoyed my time through learning here. Great lecturers, good road network, amazing students. Infrastructure is good but can be better. Power supply and hostel accommodation should be improved. Classroom facilities also need improvement. Its the best school for to learn and enjoy social life as well.

There is a park around the grounds of the waterfront with comfortable seats.
