This is a Baptist Church established in May 1967 as an offshoot of the First Baptist Church on Broad Street, Lagos. It has since grown over the years to become one of the major Baptist denomination fellowships in Lagos and Nigeria. It has also gone on to establish more than 20 other churches around the country, and run over 60 home fellowships around the mega city of Lagos.Its core focus as a local assembly is Discipleship and Missions. Much of its activities are centred around these two areas, with several expressions to capture their essence. It runs a yearly Discipleship program that has attracted believers from around the city of Lagos and from different denominations. The courses offered include 6 Basic Lessons for the new believer, Follow the Master, Serve the Master, Master Life, Mind of Christ, Experiencing God, In Gods Presence, and the Discipless Prayer Life.It also runs an annual Vacation Bible School during the summer holidays and records about 1000 kids in attendance. This has gone on for almost 30 years. This is followed by a Teenagers week-long spiritual Camping. These are offshoots of a solid Childrens and Teenagers Ministry.This Baptist assembly has 5 in-house Pastors and several others on the mission field. The in-house Pastors include:1. Senior Pastor2. Pastor of Worship3. Pastor of Children and Teenagers/Prayer4. Pastor of Missions and Evangelism5. Pastor of Youth and EducationIt also has a pastor in charge of Church administration. Its is a family church of about 1,500 persons and runs a balanced Bible based ministrations that expresses all aspects of the Pentecostal, Evangelical, and Orthodox styles.It is a great local assembly if you live in Ikoyi or adjoining areas, and you will be greatly blessed if you worship there. There are also several ministry expressions for those who would love to be more integrated into the community life there. You can sign up to join the ushering, decorations, music, media, prisons, hospital, prayer, evangelism, youth, welfare teams among several other.

I have never seen toilet so clean and odourless. You can literally eat in the toilet. There is even a toilet for the disabled too. The Church is heavenly...

A place of worship and though this was my first time there, l loved the place. Inside looked really nice especially the roof! Clean, good parking space and not difficult to access.

Best place to take discipleship classes. Just completed the follow the master course and its been awesome. The services are okay but I have always felt Baptist church was too routine-y and for the old. I wish they had more young and youthful stuff incorporated.

Grand place of worship. Good choir singing to organ, piano and orchestral accompaniment. The preaching and teaching of the word are given prominence. Good parking space for cars but no space for the wheelchair in parking as well as the entrance to the Auditorium.

Loved it because its convenient; 10 Mon drive from where I stay. The leadership is also very intentional about spiritual growth. Would definitely recommend the church

Spacious seating, entire building was air conditioned which made the church service easily enjoyable. Choir had live instruments playing along with their melodious voices. Cars were parked on the roadside though.

Its always a pleasure to worship at IBC. The message is undiluted from the bible. The worship is uplifting. The sermon in song is a unique feature of the church. Add to that a friendly congregation and my week starts on a perfect footing!!!

Attended a memorial service on Thursday and the church feels heavenly. Beautiful environment and above all the convenience was CLEAN and very hygienic.
