The cooling (system) could be better, more efficient. Depending on natural ventilation is hardly enough, especially on a very hot,still day, as the day of my visit was. One needs a certain level of coolness in order to be able to focus properly on worship without being distracted by discomfort due to heat. Also, the restrooms leave a great deal to be desired- they are very basic and crude, not at all clean,even! Clearly, work needs to be done, to raise the level and improve the ambience.

I enjoyed attending Mass here. I like the fact that the parishioners adhere to wearing masks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They have Mass for 7:30 am, 9 am, 11 am on Sundays.

I spent 8 days in the Dominican Community. It was indeed a memorable experience. My spirit, mind and body were properly catered for. I enjoyed the teaching of the Rev. Fathers, the celebrations of mass 2-3 times each day, etc.

A warm church. Pleasantly big inside, which is not noticeable from outside. The burial service was a bit boring, but the church is decorated well.Public services were adequate in the church. Has a hall, that probably sits about 200-300 people.Nothing is free in churches nowadays unlike the days of the missionaries. There strict church rules for whatever service you desire. Renting the hall depends whether you are a member or not.

St. Dominic Catholic Church is a place of workship by the Catholics. It is one of the biggest Catholic Churches in Lagos and the membership is huge. Traffic on Sundays is usually very heavy.The church seats on a vast land and contains huge cathedral, administrative offices and possibly residential quarters.The buildings are cream coloured with sculptures indicative of the Christian faith.If you are Catholic and are looking for a place of worship around Yaba, look no further.

Calm, organised, beautiful

I am catholic but this parish does not cut it so much for me.Unlike other parishes i attend, this one is disorganised and does not have so much provision for ventilation. Except you get a seat very near the fan, be sure to experience heat almost all through the service.It is however a very big church with a capacity to accomodate over 800 people. It has provision for parking vehicles but considering the crowd, if youre not early, you might have to park outside.One noticeable thing also is the fact that either the speakers dont work so well or maybe the priests dont speak so loud. One can barely hear what they say and most times you catch people sleeping.In all, it is my parish and i love the ambience.

The church has ample parking and parking is well demarcated. The church has security personnel that opens the gates and directs drivers to their appropriate parking.The. Church is well ventilated, and the speakers are well distributed to give and even sound. I personally love the art work showing several religious signs and events that are sacramental to the Catholic Church.Sermon was also nice and the fashionable and religious. It didnt take a lot of time and ended as at when due.

This is the power House of Catholic church in the whole Yaba and beyond. Its superb in worship but have a limited space for car park. I love the church, the environment, and the structures. It has more than 5 church services every Sunday with the church filled to the brim. There are over ten Rev. Fr. Officiating mass daily in the Church. I love to be there every Sunday. And the serenity of the place is second to known.

St Dominic is wow! One of the unique church architectural piece in Nigeria. And a must mention is the fact that in this church is preserved a very powerful historical relic of Christianity: part of the skeleton of one of the 12 disciples of Christ, Jude Thaddeus. It has about 25 thousand worshipers base and more than 20 priests in active service. There are varieties of programs and spiritual events daily, and all through the year. The priests and workers are warm and very friendly.

Attended a wedding ceremony there today. Spacious with enough ambience and the mass was lovely & straight to the point. Parking space available but not large enough to accommodate all worshipers driving to church. The Choir in attendance rendered a heavenly performance. The pews however, may not support a lengthy mass. Would love to worship there again.

One thing I really like about this place is the fact that they have maintained a lot of orderliness here. Many different activities may hold at the same time, but everyone is very respectful of the presence of God and Mary here. The Church buildings are very well maintained too and the facility has a fairly big parking space.
