Popular eatery in Yaba. Have been around for several years. Hygiene aint top notch but passable per Naija standards. Meal variety also available cutting across rice options and swallow/soup alternatives.
Where to begin? When you hear the name, you envision a really classy restaurant so on visiting it, I felt it was a bit of a let down.Lets talk about their food. They always have customers from far and wide visiting just to eat their food so e get why.It is quite nice and they have a nice variety of options.
Nice meal, fair service but I which they can do better by giving the ambiance a great and invite look. Its popular spot and needs to have that top notch surrounding. Thank you
Not the same quality of food as I remember it. Not sure why or what is wrong specifically but the food i just had didnt taste as good. They need to return to the old recipe or get the old cook back asap.
First open restaurant I went to and not a single fly did I see. Awesomely neat and clean. And nice food too
Amazing as always. No bad food.Serve all variety of foods.Location, easily accessibleCustomer service 4/5.Accessible to all form of transportation.Wheelchair accessible entrance and exit.
Their food is nice. My only problem is most times the place is crowded and drinks are expensive. I know some will say its nothing but this is not an eatry or anything so I see no reason why drinks should be expensive. Asides that the place is nice. If you are a lover of Amala you will like this place
Not bad but not super either. Many good options, a bit over priced for the standard but at least I have never bought bad food there in over 100 visits
You wan home made, this is the place yo visit
Awesome food. Delicious and well prepared
Nice place. To drive to and fine.. Top notch amala
Nice food and good services, paying for quality not quantityIt use to be better than this years ago but has suffered a setback in recent times.
This is one of the best restaurants in Lagos that combines affordability delicacies with top notch service delivery. They have never failed to deliver from 2002 when I first visited. I will recommend this place to you.
Home to the most delicious Amala and other local dishes like pounded yam, efo riro, yam porridge, jollof rice and fried rice. They sell assorted meats, fishes (fried and boiled), moimoi, fried Plantain and Salad. You can cool it down with fresh smoothies or soda drinks. It has television, fan and A/C to make the meals enjoyable. Similarly, the plastic chairs and tables are comfortably arranged to accommodate every customers. The foods are affordable and starts from as low as N100.
Great place for local Nigerian food
Same great food. However, no social distancing and servers were not wearing their masks properly. 3 had masks worn as chin mask freely breathing on to the food etc. But for the mask issue, I would have given a 5*
The food is fantastic, especially their Amala,Ewedu and Gbegiri with stew...Twas sooo delicious.
They are too over hyped. Their Ewedu and Gbegiri was so tasteless and their stew was nonsense. Had to revisit to see if theyve improved but it got worst😡😡😡. I just wasted my money there today
Good, but the food was not like before again interm of tasty.
Awesome restaurant, affordable food and clean environment, awesome customer service
Good food but the environment needs to be worked on
The experience didnt fit with the hype. Chicken was a bit undercooked and rice had lots of pepper. There was a lot of space though and people didnt have to wait for long
They serve delicious meal, but there isnt too much space to sit. Their ambala delicacy is superb
Good location and easily accessible
I have been here severally when my office was in Yaba... Food taste good but it can always get better...I learnt the road to the restaurant is now in tarred or tiled..smiless
Yummy tasty food. But they should work on the quantity of food, quite expensive
A local restaurant where delicious meals are sold. Affordable too
The contact detail is switched off. Please look into this for people like me that want to make an online order.
Solid restaurant, good food, nothing over the top. But the crowd there can be crazy, especially during certain times of the day.
Good for the local grub, not the best ambassador for naija jollof. Perfect for amala
Years of reasonably good service. The first time I went to White House should be close to 10 years ago. They still serve good meals, especially their amala and jollof rice.I however think they could do with a bit more of good customer service
Moderately good place to eat.
It is a nice place to eat and hangout with friends, cool and somewhat spacious.
Food is delicious...mostly local delicacies. One can also get fresh fruit juice.
Its a cool place.. my first time of going there... Although.. I have been hearing about the place for years..
The food is simply overpriced. My taste buds were not impressed.
White house is quite popular in Yaba area. Its the definition of a local buka. The meals are tasty and affordable, you should try the jollof rice. After watching one man eat Amala, it is next on my list!
A popular restaurant with lots of local cuisine at affordable price (Iya Basira). No parking space
One of the best Amala Ive ever had
I always come here for the amala. Its amazing.
Good food. Calm ambience. Good pricing
Good food vendor, Im encouraging the Management to open one outlet in Lekki/Ajah Area
The traffic in and out is steady and at the level they have reached, they should be able to afford CLEANER surroundings.
Its a nice place to relax and have fun trust me. I had fun today. Cool environment
Its a great place to eat if you live in the axis and you want to enjoy some local delicacy other than that, its a nice cafeteria to quickly grab something eat.
Their amala is the best.... I ordered amala with gbegiri and ewedu and it was the best amala have tasted at yaba. The amala was so softttttttt but the place was crowded the day I visited there
Its living on old glory.
Their amala is okay. But nothing really special. Their fish is too expensive, its a rip off.
I had the Amala and Vegetable soup. It tasted good and the price is fair.
Cool place. Smells nice 😅
Food is really nice...the amala is my fav☺
A lot of varieties at affordable rates
It was a fantastic place to experience variety of Nigerian local food with the touch of indigenous spice.
The place was quite hot but organised service. Their meals are quite good too.
All food affair, its a nice place to pick and eat your food on the go
Awesome amala joint... Lol
Only local food
Looking for good food go here
Foods there are sumptuous and delicious. Affordable, I cant tell right now of they do delivery. Environment is like 60% comfortable and appealing to sit and eat in. Customer service is okay. The food I had was so nice, I am craving rn
Not as great an experience as I had once upon a time. Its food though
Had nice amala with fresh fish and Fanta. Clean. Nice and affordable.Spent N800. And Im still full.
The Amala taste was delicious
It was great experience eating local food, Amala, and ewedu, with Gbegiri
Not worth anybodys time
Amala and gbegiri and ewedu on point but the eforiro is wack. Soft beef and goat meat. Will like to go back to try their jollof and other menu.
Amala here is still quite good except that the soup isnt as tasty as it used to
There has been a significant drop in the quality of their food. They urgently need to revamp their business model.
A decent eat out venue
A place of good local food
Not a bad place
Great food with different varieties to choose from. Neat environment too. Id totally recommend
Apart from the amala the rest food are just basic. The amala is to die for
Its a nice restaurant on Chapel road, they have varieties; local swallow dishes, porridge, rice etc..The staffs needs to be more courteous though.
Good food. Environment can be better.
Their food is superb. I love it.
Sure to get decent meal there.
Food ordinarily should be good, but sandy feeling while chewing indicated inappropriate exposure to roadside dust. Owners need to cover food properly, serve neatly.Be careful about the disposable plates, they may be dirty from exposure to roadside dust
Delicious food at affordable prices 😍
The amala is not exactly the way it used to be but we still love it.
Easy Road access, very affordable
Love their Amala on point
Great food and conducive environment. Cant ask for more especially in Yaba. Pocket friendly too!
Fair pricing, good hearty servings, customer service could use a boost, more seating space is needed, food is delicious.
Great food menu n great taste but facility needs an upgrade
Not bad but serving of meals should be improved
Okay place...service seems to have improved...
Its a good place to be
