I have not been to Sugarcane for a couple of years. Enjoyed the food very much . The puff puff is bigger and more tasty. The service was courteous and friendly. The food was very tasty and well prepared . Over the years Sugarcane has not lost its standard of food and service . The only downside is that some items on the menu were not available . I hope this will improve .

I absolutely loved everything about this place. The meals are so tasty. The Chapman was also really nice and the ambience is great for photos because of how the sunlight enters the room. Absolutely stunning. The price point is also not too bad. There isnt a lot of variety on the menu but nonetheless, the meals my husband and I had were very tasty.

I have been here before and i enjoyed my food and service. The complimentary popcorn is very tasty.Had the pepper chicken but substituted the rice for plantain, we also had the grilled prawn which was very nice.Service was a bit slow maybe because of the time of day we went. I would recommend if you like pancakes!

At Sugar Cane the services cuts across all types of customers including cooperate, Group and Individuals.  They also guarantees maximum security, excellent services by the well groomed customer service personnel, superb African and continental cuisine for both social and cooperate functions.The food is good; the spicy calamari or hot dog is nice. Try the whiskey and lemonade cocktails, nice patio at the back.

Sugarcane is such a beautiful and chilled space with great food but the service was a bit slow.They have different spaces to dine depending on what ambience youre going for. Theres indoor sitting and a space on the 1st floor for private dining or to have a private party or event. It also has a pation where people can sit out and have a good time.The entire space is great for photo ops and to just chill.

I loved the burger and the waffles, the place is beautiful too but I didnt like their iced tea, it was terrible.

The restaurant is situated in a quiet vicinity. Patient and pleasant staffs. At first,you would be served with a cinnamon popcorn before you place your order. The food is tasty and spicy,it was my first time visiting and it worth the hype. The price range is fair enough, it all depends on your pocket.My friends and I ordered for different varieties.Food:BBQ Wings & Fries, Burger & Fries, Pente Pasta.Drinks: Water, Mixed Smoothie, Chapman.You all need to try out their food,its super delicious.

The interior is really nice. Everything is on brand. Absolutely great for pictures. Great service. You get complementary popcorn while you wait for your food.I shared the small chops platter with 3 friends and it was more than enough. I wouldnt recommend more than 4 people sharing it though.Food portions are larger than they appear. Food also leans on the sweet side and might be too much for you if you have sensitive taste buds.We were going to go for dessert, but we were too full (we couldnt even finish our entrees).

Good foodI recommend the sticky ribs, pesto pasta & small chops platter....I’m not in love with the lighting, quite dim.Decor isn’t special.But in all, worth a visit or two.

Stopped by for Sunday brunch and had the Big Sugar Breakfast (Eggs, bacon, sausages, grilled tomato, baked beans, sautéed potatoes and toast). Also had the American Pancakes and Mixed Berry Smoothie. The smoothie and pancakes were very nice but I found the breakfast to be a bit bland. It was filling though and the waiters were attentive and didn’t take a lot of time to get the food. They also have valet parking which is good, so you don’t have to go out to re park when a customer wants to leave. A good experience and will definitely visit again

Highly sought after restaurant. It’s highly sought after by all kinds of people. Their menu is wide enough to satisfy the different palates of all their clients. And their prices are really fair. Their location is also a big advantage, in middle of Victoria Island. Don’t forget their free valet service.

The ambience is okay and they have a wheelchair accessible entrance.Their menu is straightforward, I had chicken mac & cheese and fresh orange juice, the juice was superb.They have courteous staff and the food was nicely done.

Sugarcane has a cool and lively vibe with a minimalist design and great lighting. The outdoor patio is also very BEAUTIFUL. The menu is rich and affordable. I had the best hummus and guacamole ever, and left with a smile on my face. The complimentary cinnamon sprinkled popcorn is a plus.And oh, by the way, breakfast is served all day!!! I love the complimentary cinnamon and sugar popcorn, it makes Sugarcane standout. I visited recently with a friend and we both had the chicken meal with different sides and the brownie waffle for desert. Everything was great!

The things I loved about this place: parking space is quite small but theyve got it figured out with a valet service which eases your headache. As long as youre okay with leaving your keys with the valet. If you dont, prepared to be called multiple times to move your car for others to leave. The food was yummy. I had the prawn club sandwich. Ambience was quite warm and good. The place looks good in pictures. There is a restaurant and a bar behind.What I didnt like was the waiting time. I waited almost an hour to get my meal. But they appear you with a fancy jar of popcorn. Unfortunately, I didnt like that because it was cinnamon flavored and Im not a fan of cinnamon.

Theyre easily overwhelmed by a handful of orders.Great platter tho.

I recently attended an event at the Sugarcane Restaurant and I find there services good and the food delicious. The steamed fish that was served was tender, juicy and not dry and surprisingly tasty because it didnt look like the taste when served. The staff were polite and professional. Kudos to Waitress Danniella, she was pleasant, courteous and served with smiles all through.Lovely experience in all . The cooling system need to be worked on to accommodate large crowd 😊

Good location, very good food, prompt service, fair ambience. Prices are also fair for the quality and quantity of food. There is a resonance that runs through the atmosphere when the restaurant is filled with people, so your conversations might be slightly loud. But very good service and the valet parking eases your concern of wasting much time trying to settle.

It is an ok place actually, I’ll say overrated although their food tastes really good and the idea of the complimentary popcorn is cool.Their prices on an average are ok actually, I mean you’ll think with the 3 ‘$$$’ showing you’ll expect sth way out of the blues but it was average though.They had the valet parking thing yeah, pleasant staff and really helpful, overall experience - good.Do I recommend- yes.

The day i went...it was a bit crowded,service was slow as even no waiter approached us to take our order,we had to signal the waiter continuously before we could be attended to...it put me in a not-so great mood,so i ended up only ordering for a drink....but to be honest,it was the best lemonade i had,refreshingly light,tangy and sweet.The ambience had this american bistro kind of setting ,great for quick lunch and all that.The only drawback is the garden area, which had dried up flowers and so dusty,aside that and slow services,it was a great place.Id try it out again definitely!!

The ambiance was nice, and the interior offered a good background for pictures. Customer service was good, the waiters were polite and courteous. I took the lemonade drink and it was worth it; sweetened a bit, but made sense.We ordered their small chops and it was yum-yum.

This restaurant has so many good things going for it. First of all, the free valet service (definitely a big plus for me), Cinnamon-flavored Popcorn for starters (which I personally think is not enough) and some awesome drinks. The Hawaiian burger is a must-try. The only negative for me is the price. Prices on the menu differed from the bill we got. And I say this because Im an auditor, I audit all my bills. Its still a great place for brunch or a cozy dinner, you pick.

So the place is good, has an American dinner kind of setting. My issue was with the food itself, they can make their brunch options better in terms of flavour, like the waffles I could taste the baking soda, the ice cream had frost bites and felt like it wasn’t homemade but bought from a grocery store and has sat in the freezer for a longtime. I would recommend their pasta options, great portions and decent presentation, the waitress that served us though was very slow and acted like she didn’t want to be there. Aside from all this everything else was great.

The perfect breakfast spot in Lagos. Didnt know they actually had a full menu coz we go just for the all day breakfast. The pancakes are amazing

The food here is amazing. The chairs arent too comfortable tho. Its like they just want you by to eat and be on your way! Hahahah. Customer service is superb, pocket friendly. On an average you would spend 8k on food and drinks. I did not enjoy their mojito tho, was a bit too strong for a light drinker like me. The ambience is beautiful and serene. Overall? I would go there again!

You can tell that a lot of attention was paid ambience/decor, as it’s really beautiful and makes for really good photos.A recurrent theme of white, black and yellow on the ground floor [indoor and outdoor].The most beautiful mirror wall-arrangement in the private room upstairs which has a full length glass wall that affords you a full-view of the bustling Ologun Agbeje street.Their seats are really comfy, the staff very clean, warm and friendly.The food is a little pricey, but definitely great value for money ...... yummy!!!They also have amazing cocktails!!!

Nice interior decor, simple and clean. The food was good I had the American pancakes with beef sausage. My partner had chicken and waffles (the chicken sandwich he asked that they serve it disassembled) which was also good. The staff was pleasant. Definitely would go back.

Both meals tasted great. And the quantities were appropriate for my bottomless tummy. Theres valet parking, nice to have but pointless for such a small place.The eating space is small though, and not segmented so everyone sees everyone else. Not my preferred layout.Will definitely be returning.

Sugarcane, for me is a good Restaurant located just at a good enough spot in VI. The menu is big enough to accommodate your variety, but that’s if you’re looking for something over the top. The interior and exterior decorations are mind blowing, cozy and colorful. I visited it for the First time, and it was awesome. I only figured they really don’t a spot to get your hands washed within the sitting area, so you’d have to use the restroom for that. I mentioned this to the Waiter who served me and hopefully it will be looked into.

Sugarcane restaurant is in the nice environs of VI in Lagos which of course have lovely African meals you can choose from and oh please never forget to have the dessert cause its so yummy.You can actually book the place ahead of time for small meetings at an affordable rate.
