Okele restaurant is built in bukka style with lots of comfort, and affordability in general. The place is quite decent and clean. With fresh breeze from the cooling AC. Power is also constant with standby generators. Attendants area also courteous and neat.Their food is also delicious. They sell mostly Nigerian cuisines pounded yam (not poundo o), eba, Amala, fufu, rice( white and jellof rice), beans, yam etc.at this time a portion of any soup was N300 and my wrap of pounded yam was N300 each.Safety equipment checked good , security checked good, wheelchair accessibility not available.Thank me later after you find this place satisfactory

I have come here deliberately to give this review. The attitude of your staff is both terrible and uncalled for - they are perpetually rude and unbecoming these days. I have had a terrible experience and I have colleagues who have experienced same. From throwing debit cards at customers to telling customers to come and get serviettes by themselves are among a few. Total rubbish! You are a new business and if you continue treating your customers as being indispensable, you will be out of business and others will take your place. There is absolutely no need to be insulting.

Lovely ambience. Authentic nigerian meals. I am definitely coming back 😁This has definitely become one of my favorite places to eat in Lagos.I have been visiting for two years and the quality of the meals have not dropped one bit. I am especially partial to the pounded yam and edikaikong soup. Did I also say very affordable?

I had Okele on my list of fastfood joints to visit. I was going to 1004 when I saw okele and decided to stop by plus I was hungry. Its located before the 1004 entrance if you are coming from bishop aboyade cole street. The place looks nice.I ordered for Amala and Ewedu with fish and spent N1300 on my meal (cant remember now if I ordered for water too). The amala was really good. I enjoyed the meal and I will recommend this place for the Nigerian delicacies.

First impressions about Okele, a good place to have a good meal in a well done up environment. Attention has been paid to the detailing of the interiors, making it a comfortable place to dine in. Focus of food served is mainly Nigerian meals, some preference for mossel food (as the name suggest. Okele is Yoruba for mossel) and a wide range of soups.Due to its location, I imagine this place will be very popular amongst the workforce of the surrounding businesses, especially during lunch time.Based on first impressions, Okele comes recommended.

On this fateful afternoon, I started to crave local Nigeria food but I wanted a neat environment and also something affordable. A friend suggested Okele restaurant and I was eager to try them out. I wasnt disappointed at all, customer service 100% , environment was clean, food was delicious and very affordable. I was glad I visited. My only concern is that I ate with my hand, and I had nowhere to rinse my hand except using the bowl of water the girl brought to my table. #iamtai

Well, the food was really spicy, seating areas were good but no high chairs available. No ramp for wheelchair entrance and exit, parking is very limited. Youd have to park outside on the street. Their staff could be more friendly and faster in attending to customers. Its an all-you-can-eat buffet from yam porridge to jollof rice to local swallow foods and soups. The dishes taste really nice and local. The air conditioning is pretty cool while eating.

I feel the workers should be given days off most of them are too tired to stand up to serve or serving slowly.... They need more days off... If the are given more time to rest in sure they would serve better.. I was shocked to ask a work that was my friend some personal things and was told they feed on left overs

This inccidence happened at okele Restaurant in Vi,off Ajose Adeogun street.myself and my colleague visited okele restaurant this evening.i ordered for semo and onugbu soup, so at the point of paying for our food,a lady staff of this restaurant shouted NO PROTEIN IN THE FOOD? then the guy who was attending to us tried to caution that lady to stop shouting. then i explained to her quietly that i wanted fish but there was no fish.so she went on shouting we have chicken and beef you can buy i felt so embarrassed, i paid for my food and went on to eat. this lady still went on talking in a loud voice to other okele colleagues saying is it bad for her to advertise to a customer what they are selling ? then i told her that she was embarrassing me ,moreso she can go into their kitchen to explain rather than speaking so loud.anyone could think otherwise. This is the point i am trying to make, whenerver a customer is to be attended to no other customer needs to hear what is going on and you dont need to ask if a customer needs anything afterall we can see all the food displayed already. Okele restaurant staff in victoria Island, lagos lacks training.
