Visiting this old favourite after more than 1 year.Still as hidden as always.Bought a Japanese milk bread, Seed loaf and Cream cheese & Blueberry Danish.The Japanese bread is very delicate in flavor. Lightly toasted, it made an excellent accompaniment to Brie cheese, preserved green figs and port wine.

This place could be so much better with better management.Hidden place in Lekki, there is no sign on the street or security at the gate. When I entered, there was loud hip hop music blaring and I had to ask to have it turned down because even the waiter could not hear me while I tried to order. Got a bottle of wine and was given two wine glasses with lipstick on them. So I sent them back. he later tried to open it without removing the foil, and was actually successful but tried to pour the wine with the jagged foil from the top of the bottle. I ordered the German Light lunch. The sausages were exploded (casing ripped open) and not a bratwurst that I expected in terms of color. It was a dark chocolate brown color instead of a light color typical for bratwursts.

Its a very quaint and serene wine house. wonderful ambience and presenting with exotic varieties of wines and drinks from the world over. large enough to accommodate dinners, birthdays, meetings, and more. I want to visit again, and soon. the cake I had was the best fruitcake Id ever had. Thank you Bernadette 👍💯

Excellent service with gorgeous dish presentations. This venue is a jewel hidden in Lekki Phase 1. Youve a bakery, a restaurant & a coffee shop all in one venue. And all this run by a German raised Nigerian Lady. All the menu items are made fresh, so do appreciate the time you wait for your dish. The menu has starters, main (including a separate German menu) & dessert. The bakery offers freshly made daily available breads & cakes. Its recommended you call in advance for your bakery order. The interior offers comfortable seating indoors & outdoors. The decor has a contemporary European feel to it. Drink wise, they offer German beers on request. As for the coffee side of things, all coffee types are available on request. Catering available on request. Only street parking available unfortunately. Look out for the blue gate & youve arrived.

Warm Reception and Great food

Had to wake up the door guard to let us in Sunday afternoon. Only 1/2 the menu seemed to be available. No buffet options either. Was hoping for some for German fare. Left there keine kleine bit of food.
