I made a stop LaBrioche with my baby girl and had a decent experience. The buttermilk pancakes was fluffy and buttery 🤤The Tiramisu french toast on the other hand was so yummy! I have abandoned regular toast cause French toast with Brioche bread and mascarpone is enough for me to give up my Nigerian citizenship 🤷🏾♀️ at this point 😍😍When it comes to brunch, the food, ambience, drinks and aesthetics are super important cause we ladies are biased towards brunch and always want it to be perfecto! The ambience was just right at La brioche and the decor was florid and elegant. The staff are friendly and even though we took forever to order and also spent hours gisting afterwards, we were properly attended to.I recommend this spot and would definitely visit again to try out more meal options and have that french toast again 👀😁
La Brioche was a quaint, splendid place with a Parisienne feel to it. I couldnt fault it. The food was delicious..the customer service was impeccable! I will definitely visit again. I had the Grand Marnier Crossiant French Toast with Sausage and maple syrup...complimented it with a cup of Mocha...it was yummy and decadent. The complimentary bread was warm and tasted so good. I even got a second helping of whipped cream for my French Toast.
Nice space, especially upstairs. When you first step into the building, the space downstairs is arranged too clumsily and tight so you’ll probably prefer the upstairs part of the restaurant. The service is amazing, dedicated staff, very nice and courteous. The food is good, I had pasta, but the garlic bread that came with it was too hard ☹️The cocktails were fantastic! 🍹All in all, had a great experience. You should go!
Lovely English restaurant setup. Pocket friendly, Good service 👌
Good ambience. Good food. The pastries at the entrance are great temptations 🥰. ...I couldnt help myself. I love food! Id recommend.
Im giving it 4 stars because I have had some good meals and service here in the past. But not today. Service was quite slow, tables werent wiped and we had to remind the waiter to (in these covid times!), we got a drink and the glass was chipped on the edge, and we asked twice for the steak to be medium rare and it wasnt. The seafood linguine was good however and the French toast remained as good as ever. I noticed the owner wasnt around which probably explains some of the slip ups but there was a manager there and he wasnt doing quite as good a job as the owner normally would. Menus should also be wiped down.
Very nice looking place. Although I think their portion sizes need a bit of work. For example, I got a few teaspoons of hot chocolate for N2k and the pancakes seemed smaller than youd reasonably expect. The service wants to be really good, but is still a little disorganised. Definitely a place to visit again, Im sure they will only get better if they maintain their current level of effort. Also Ill be sure to order things that are more likely to come in larger portions 😄 I have given it a 4 star because I couldnt do 3.5 and I want to believe in their potential.
Very beautiful spot, love the service, how clean and well kept it is, their food is so delicious and they were very accommodating to prepare a vegetarian friendly breakfast for me and my family. Will definitely come back!
My La brioche ExperienceI had Saturday brunch with my sisters at this beautiful French inspired cafe and we were not disappointed. Everything we ordered tasted so GOOD. I particularly love the signature Turkish eggs, absolutely yummy! Looking forward to another enjoyable dining experience.Culinary Elegance✅Excellent Food✅Good Service✅Very Friendly and Courteous Staff✅Food Presentation ✅Lovely Ambiance ✅Highly Recommend#LagosLivingLagosLoving
Charming interior, but only from far. Table clothes were dirty. The waiter service was slow and non flexible. I asked for eggs with a runny yolk and was given rubber eggs. I asked for eggs again and they came half raw. Smoked salmon smelled fishy, meaning it wasn’t so fresh. I asked for the bill and it didn’t come for 30 minutes. I had to get up several times to find the waiter. The menu selection looks wonderful, if only they could get they delivery right. It’s a shame since I had really high hopes.
Great place. Food was good. Nice enough atmosphere. Not outstanding. Just another one of the many restaurants in Lagos.
There arent many Nigerian owned restaurants of this standard in Lagos, so La Brioche are a welcomed staple. The brunch menu on weekends is particularly popular and you can expect the place to be busy.I veered away from the brunch options and chose from the lunch menu instead with the Surf & Turf (pictured). At N13,000 its not cheap, but the prawn was divine. The fresh complimentary bread they serve is warm and especially yummy.
The food was delicious 😋... I will be going back for the linguine. The scenery is perfect for brunch, a nice time out with your friends and family. The service wasnt bad, very safe and complaint, I and my friends had a lovely evening, without too many distractions and noise.
Beautiful place, good very tasty and nice
Was dope and nice, I enjoyed every sec of my stay and the food was delicious and awesome, Im definitely come back over again and again...
Excellent food, decor and service
Its a french restaurant in Victoria island, was there with my family for brunch, we had the le classique (full English breakfast) and chicken burger, their food was nice, the mocktail was just ok, i had a virgin colada. The staff were pleasant and courteous. The food here is pricey, ambience is cool. Overall, I would recommend this place.
Customer service is good, prompt delivery as well. Their meals could be a lot spicier though, a second visit and a different dish might change my mind. For pastry, their apple crumbles the best pick.
This is probably my favourite (breakfast) restaurant in Lagos. As someone who is obsessed with typical breakfast meals, I greatly enjoy this place. The service is really good and the space is great for pictures. Whether youre dining alone, as a couple, or with a group of friends, theres seating for everyone.Service may be slow on days the restaurant is packed
Great food and wonderful ambiance. They have sustained quality of food which is commendable. Not too many customers so you can socially distance to some degree. Every table has a small sanitizer bottle and all waiters wore masks. Their delivery service is also reliable so order at home or out, you cant go wrong. Also good value for money. My only criticism is portion sizes... some plates are generous while some dishes are small.
The French bread taste excellent. My kid loves the Muffin!
Dont order their;AmericanoCorned beef hashHot chocolateTea...yes teaLinguineDont go there hungry
Best food, I really enjoy their seafood linguine and the customer service was superb since praise was the one who serve me and my friends, she has serve me twice now, ask for praise anytime she will give u a good customer services..
Wonderful brunch with the family in an elegant setting. My dish: poached eggs with lobster chunks and hollandaise sauce in brioche bread. Yummy!
Fairytale like with a lot of sweet things.
Gorgeous place and food choice.
Food tastes really good! ... and good portions sizes as well. The ambience is really beautiful. I would visit again.
Loved the food, service, environment EVERYTHING. You must visit if in Nigeria
I liked the decor and the ambience however, the tables are somewhat small. Service was efficient and the food was good. Will return.
Food was great, Seats are a bit uncomfortable and the tables were shaky.I recommend the Mushroom Pasta
Amazing little cafe with adorable decor and yummy food at a great price! A main, side and drink comes up to under 10k and the service is always great.
Nice, fairly discreet spot for breakfast/brunch in a central location. The french toast was superb. Waiters and waitresses seem a little confused, but friendly and pleasant enough.Short wait times, and a decent menu.
Pretty; quaint.
Lovely ambience and food was yummyyyyyy
Best place for breakfast or brunch in Lagos
Loved it. The food is cooked to perfection
Great neighbourhood eatery with an ambitious european style menu.
Amazing place. Pastry heaven.
A cute lovely place to have brunch, the food is as tasty and yummy as it looks, I will recommend it for meetings, and birthday brunch, the parking is okay not great but every single dime spent at La Brioche is worth it, looking forward to visiting again to try something new, it’s my new fav place at the moment.
Clean, quiet and the scones were great ..
The ambiance and food 👍 the drapping flowers from the ceiling is a beautiful setting for a date or hangout or for a TV talk show shoot or for movie scene or a bridal shower party.
The food is great! Service too
Try their signature french toast
Amazing brunch spot
Is a small restaurant well organized and their meal is too expensive
I’ve been craving chicken and waffles for a minute now so I had breakfast at night (don’t judge me)I absolutely love this space. This is arguably the best service I’ve ever received yet. It was excellent! The space is beautiful and my meal was fantastic. I was really impressed.Chicken and waffles N4,590.Hot chocolate N2,000.
Horrible. The pancake. The worst.. but the chapman and fries 5 star. Thats all ask for temitope .
I ordered for a cup of cuppacino and I wanted a leaf design on it. The waiter brought me something totally different. My friends and I had a good laugh.
Cool🙂🙂🙂
Great food. Brilliant as always.
I like the ambience, service is good but can be a lot better. Food is okay, I had the brioche burger (5,000) and a cocktail which I enjoyed - pomegranate capirinha (3,000).
The majors thing I love about La Brioche is the ambience! The place is so beautiful, we couldn’t stop taking pictures after we were done eating. It’s a small restaurant and it’s very intimate. I don’t think it’s a good place for really large groups but a group of five people can eat there (my friends and I were five). Oh and if you’re thinking of what to order, orders the sea food linguine!! I think that’s the best pasta I’ve had in my entire life! Eat it and thank me later.
Lovely place..
Its a unique and beautiful place to be. Best French restaurant on the Island!!!
The mushrooms, chicken and waffles were delicious. The decor inside the restaurant was very cute, floral and lavish.
Looking for thr perfect breakfast/brunch spot?? THIS IS IT!!! even the new hamburger on the menu is delicious, w the truffle fries. yummmmm
Very quaint and elegant ambience. Lovely space.
The food is amazing!!!! I had the oxtail ravioli and it was divine!!!! Definitely going back there.
Loved the place. Great ambience, cocktails on point and absolutely delicious food. Cant remember the name of the waiter who attended to us but she was fantastic
Lovely place. The ambience is just right, the food is exotic and the customer service is excellent. Had a long chat with the owner on my visit with friends, he epitomizes what LA Brioche stands for. The chat with him was worth paying for. He clearly showed that this place will get more and more awesome.
La Brioche is amazing. I recently spent twelve nights in Lagos Nigeria with my wife and somehow ended up having breakfast at La Brioche three times. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. The service is good and the food is excellent. Its a bit pricey for everyday breakfast but totally worth it.The pastries are great and the fruits are fresh. Its also a very quiet spot. If we were in town longer, we probably would have visited more times. Its important to note that La Brioche thrives on customer service and sarticefaction and you can tell the difference when you walk in.
Absolutely loved it. The ambience, the staff, the presentation of the food, the music. Id score the taste of the food 6/10. It was somewhat basic
Lovely spot for freshly baked bread, pastries and freshly squeezed juices. Lovely staff ambience and sensible sized portions. The owner was delightful and made sure to check on all his guests to make sure everyone was having a great time. Definitely recommend.
Just had breakfast at about 10am at the new place, 154 Prince Ade Odedina Street, Victoria Island. The food was very tasty, well presented and the service delivery was excellent. The ambiance was pretty cool. I will surely be having more breakfast meals there in the years to come.
The food? The decor. The service? The experience brunching at La Brioche was beautiful. In fact, beautiful is an understatement. I cant fault them.
The food is an 8/10. The space is very different. Feels like youre in small downtown Cafe in London. Nice if thats your thing. The owner is very friendly and chatty! Nice lad.
They’ve the tastiest meals but service is a bit annoying
Food was great had the chicken and waffles. The service was extremely slow though, I mean it took over an hour for food to be served. The host charged us a hefty fine for bringing our own bottle which was for the birthday we were celebrating; even the other servers were upset that he did but he refused to hold back the charge. Probably will not be visiting this place again, terrible experience for my party. Hope they get better because I see potential but not there yet.
2021 update: New location is better. Really cute. Still the best croissants in Lagos. (Better than Erik Keyser) Brunch was amazing. Service good but could use some improvement.2019 review:Correction of my previous post where I reviewed the wrong little bakery on the same street....This is a really nice place with white tablecloths and gold cutlery. The food is equally as fancy. I had a bacon, arugula, avocado sandwich and despite being tiny, was delicious. Fresh juices were great. Desserts are some of the best I have tasted in Lagos.
I love their donuts! I cant vouch for the rest of their pastries but their brunch specials (I believe they switch them up every other week) are great. The food looks and tastes good. Its a tiny space, but definitely worth it.
Horrible service! Impertinent personnel!
This where you get your delicious meal, breakfast, launch, dinner and brunch..... So yummy
Its not the biggest of spaces to sit down and relax to enjoy a coffee or lunch. The floor and drinks however I do really enjoy. Quite different from your usual Lagos restaurant menu.It does pay off more to book a seat in advance.
Great experience
Although the space itself is quite simple, it makes you feel like something majestic is about to happen. Tasty pastries, delicious food, very well priced and felt a bit like a getaway to Paris. Lovely place.
Great ambience, great food, great service. Would recommend 100%
Good food... professional staff... vast menu... always spoilt for choice
Perfect locay for a date!
