Great customer service. Really nice pizza, I had the “sugarcane drink”.. amazing stuff. Good food I must say. The view of the water side is everything.

Exceptional dining experience. The Margherita pizza is well done. Sugarcane fresh juice was refreshing (just ask for ice; not served with ice). The bubble gum Gelato stick was exquisite.

Clean and serene atmosphere. Covid compliance. Waiters were patient to understand a first timer and prices were moderate.

Its a very wonderful place to visit with friends and family. The ambience is quite nice and you can see the sea side if you decide to sit outside.The food is nice, they had everything on the Menu which you can scan or they give you the pamphlet to go through the Menu for foods and drinks. And for toddlers not babies, they have their own seat provided by the restaurant.The timing of ordering was fast...in less than 10mins or less you get your orderAnd lastly, the payment that I did not understand was in terms of consumption tax, we paid for. I paid for consuming the food apart from the Tax included, you also pay for consumption tax.In conclusion, its a perfect getaway for families, lovers, friends to hangout.

It was so good the first time we had to go back. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. That coupled with the views of the water made for a wonderful dining experience. I cant wait to return to Victoria Island and to Cactus.

The pancakes were fluffy, not too sugary and tasted nice. I loved the fries too, servers were impeccable with their service, I sat close to the water area and enjoyed every moment of it. I can’t remember their names, but I asked two of the waiters to help take photos of me and they obliged happily. Overall, you would get value for your money spent here.

I had a drink that was pina colada inspired cant even remember the name but it was watery, I was expecting it to be heavy because it had banana but heyy, I am no bartender!My Cactus experience was okay, everything was nice from the pesto pasta to the garlic shrimp bread! I had an amazing time especially at the outdoor space facing the lagoon.My only issue was the drinks, I think it had too much ice or something because it wasnt just right.

The staffs are amazing, nice ambience and great food. What i really didnt understand was why we had to pay consumption tax after VAT, it was quite ridiculous to be honest.

The room setting is nice but staff feels too big, a room of 15k and theres no water heater, they keep lying they are coming to fix it till I checked out, the AC not in good condition, they told me theyd serve you breakfast for lodging in deluxe but I didnt see that happen, pool very shallow, every staff treats customer how they like, I will have to call for them to boil water which theyd say 5mins till I checked out... Am not recommending anyone to waste money for such place... Its a nice room but poor management services

Cactus is one of those few places that have been around for as long as I can remember but still managed to maintain a good standard. The ambience is nice, bubbly atmosphere, reasonable prices and good food. The waiters are attentive even on busy nights (e.g. weekends) and orders come out quite quickly. There are multiple indoor sitting sections as well as a lagoon-facing outdoor area. Both the food and drink menus are quite expansive thus there are multiple options to choose from.Its a great place to eat and chill, these are some of the reasons I keep going back.

Good food as usual. Cactus is a perfect spot any day of the week, but Sunday is especially my favorite day to have lunch at there.When we were ready to leave, we had to wait an extra 45mins because it was impossible to find the waiter who took our orders. Calling on the other waiters was of no help, so we had to get up and look for him ourselves.

Serene, beautiful, classy and worth the money.The restaurant has a robust food and drink menu that is expensive but classy.Lots of space to sit indoors including an outdoor setting for natural light and air.Table attendants are courteous.The restaurant is a great place for a date, birthday, proposal or just to blow off steam while soothing your taste buds.The lighting and ambience is lovely.Highly recommend.

I reluctantly choose the Jumbo Prawn combo as my order for the day (childrens day outing with my son)....oooh la la.I enjoyed every bit of it. Prawn well seasoned/spiced. Just the way I like it.

Very nice environment, both the indoor and outdoor were nice! Suitable for group and individual dining. I great location for relaxing because the view of the water was beautiful! I tired out almost all of the ice cream flavors (they were nice) and the macarons had a great taste(I still wanna have more). The staffs were nice and friendly(they offered to take our pictures, and the meals were delicious (didn’t take time to be prepared). The milkshakes where superb too! Hi

I ordered filet mignon, medium temp, and here is what I got. I was like 😱🤬 What do you think? I showed it to our lovely waitress, who went and got the Manager. He took away my plate and later came back with another one. My response: well done 😅

Been wanting to visit this place for a while now. Had their avocado toast loved it! The hot chocolate, not so much. It’s a great space, loved how cozy it was, definitely great for a first date or a family brunch out. I also liked the fact that they give you toast & juice while waiting, Not so great for my fit fam ministry but it’s quite thoughtful. It’s not a bad experience all round - I recommend.

It was refreshingly nice. The ambience very cool relaxed, allowing for a totally enjoyable time out. I had the classic burger (Ive learnt to always go for the classic burger) The burger didnt fail me. The burger was really juicy and fresh, served with a side of french fries and coleslaw.I also tried the quinoa salad and my tastebuds were excited from the amazing taste.

I had a very pleasant experience at Cactus and I really enjoyed it.The ambience is great. Food is lovely and the staff are courteous and competent. I visited at lunchtime on a Saturday and expected a crowd and slow service. There was a crowd but the service was anything but slow.To eat, I had the Stir Fry Noodles and it was delicious! I had the Sugarcane Special to drink, it was very refreshing.Theres ample parking space so thats one less thing to worry about.All in all, it was a very good experience and Ill definitely be going back there soon.

Cactus Restaurant has a beautiful homely ambience. The staff are friendly and courteous and their services are top notch. The food is tastily delicious and the turn around time is great. Cactus restaurant has both an indoor and outdoor section and allows for relaxation with a calm water front view. Highly recommended.

This I really like. Big, bubbly, active space even on a week day but still with the feel of having your private space. It had loads of young waiters all around literally waiting for you to nod and theyd be right by your side. You get an ocean front view if you decide to have your meal outdoors. The meal went perfectly with the setting but the extra for me was the lemon and mint tea, super organic taste! I would be back just for this tea!

Cactus is just perfect. Polite and very professional waiters, enthralling aesthetics, serene environment on a well maintained property.You can choose to sit by the waterside or inside. I appreciate that despite the fact that there are so many white folks in the place there is no segregation and class distinction.The food is midpriced so while it is not very cheap, you dont have to go bankrupt because of a simple meal.

Cactus had always been my number restaurant. Had my wedding reception there 2002 and still an excellent service over the years.Meal was sumptuous and as usual serene environment with ice cream on the go.

Good experience. I had Grouper fish (grilled) on jollof rice bed with pineapple chutney. Scrumptious!! The ambience is great. Theres the very well lit restaurant space. Theres the less lit ambience in another space and theres the outdoor space overlooking the water.. all great for enjoying your meal. The menus fair enough. There are nice desserts too. In all, it works and is nice. BTW, I was there for my birthday and heard group singing happy birthday for a lady. Another birthday mate.

Cactus Lagos remains one of our faves and for good reason. As their home away from home slogan goes, it really provides that warm feeling. Have always loved their kids menu option and the bouncing castle (when there) although yes I still do not like kids at restaurants 🥴Had the center cut filet mignon. Second slide is the calzone Bolognaise. The calzone can be a bit of a struggle if youre not used to...well calzones so if you dont want to have to hack away and use a fork and knife to eat pizza, just get the regular one but if you do want to try a new experience, why not 😉Parking space is just about enough.Verdict: Worth a visit ✅Damage 🤑💸💰Calzone Bolognaise- 6,525 (yes this weird number makes me very upset too)Center cut filet mignon- 13,500Chicken and shrimps tagliatelle- 7,800

Cactus is a very nice place to eat. Although personally, I didnt like what I ordered but the people I came with liked their food. I really liked the view of the lagoon as I sat outside. Inside was also really nice and the staff were patient and friendly enough. We didnt have to wait too long for our meal to arrive. I had the fresh apple juice and I can guarantee that it was made there with actual apples unfortunately it wasnt cold just room temperature. Overall it was okay.

This is my default place for pasta on the island especially when I need quick service. Meals come hot, tasty and appealing to the eyes.

Its okay, very family friendly. Theyve stayed consistent for a LONG time now. I think thats impressive. Im not so crazy about their food though. They do have a nice outdoor play area for kids.

Getting into Cactus from the main road can be an issue. However, when you get inside, it has ample parking space. I went on a Sunday, so it was filled with families having brunch after church. We decided to sit outside by the water. The waitress was very courteous and answered our questions. She also helped us get comfortable by turning on a fan to make sure a stubborn fly would stop disturbing. For a busy day, the food came out quick. We were served complimentary bread roll and butter before our meal came. Overall, it was a good experience, I will certainly recommend to anyone.

Lovely restaurant. Lightning is perfect. Ample space between diners. Service is prompt as well. Drinks were “meh”. But the food is delicious and portions are large. Definitely recommend this place for casual date nights and small groups.

My experience at Cactus was a lovely one, I visited with my family and I’m certainly going again. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, the waiter/waitresses are so calm and efficient. Their food is not cheap but they’re affordable and there’s also a play area for children but they must be supervised by an adult. Did I add their covid precautionary measures are on point, free sanitizer on each table, each table and chair sanitized after every meal.

Lagoon breeze, great ambience, old classics are great and still amazing new additions to the menu. Its continuous improvement here I must say

I had their jumbo shrimps and it was deliciously perfect. Their customer service was good as well.

Its location gave it an air of importance. Being located along a coast line makes it cool and natural. Well decorated with beautiful flowers and ornamental plants and trees make the environment beautiful and natural. In fact a place to relax with friends, family and loved ones. However, it doesnt come cheap.

I go here mostly for ice cream. Their coconut ice cream is to die for. Their menu is good but have limited options for vegetarians (like me).Location of this restaurant is perfect, going there during morning and evening to enjoy the sea view is a must try.Hopefully I ll write more about them once I visit again to try their food and ice cream.

Food was good, beautiful space.. I had the giant prawns and it was phenomenal.

This is perfect for everything you can think of. The food presentation, the well behaved staff, the ambience, outdoor sitting arrangement with water view, ice cream and pastries to mention but few. Its perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had their fish and chips which is very affordable and the tray of fish and chips came with veggies- carrots, cauliflower etc. I couldnt finish the chips but concentrated on the fried fish and veggies with freshly squeezed pineapple juice.

Service was fast and professional, and our burgers were very nice and well done

Cactus 🌵 is an all time favourite, the space is elegant and versatile. Their customer service is also 💯. Now let’s talk about the food; I’ll start with this yummy looking burger and fries, fam the fries went to Harvard. Legit the best fries I’ve had, I kept arguing with my partner in crime that it’s fresh cut potatoes seasoned and fried, not the one we buy at shop rite, it must have been grown in one fine garden like that. It just didn’t taste regular and I loved it, crunchy...The Burger was creamy and light, a ham and bacon burger with poached eggs, but it wasn’t bad at all, way above average. It was very fresh! We also had the lagos passion breakfast, I really like it when restaurants localise some dishes on their menu, it’s not everyday I want to eat continental dishes, the lagos passion was an African breakfast, consisted of plantain (my weakness), bread and onions omelette, served with sausages, stew and beans porridge. The plantain made it guys, it was just right. I have no complains whatsoever on the plantain, ah the chef would make heaven! The sausages and omelette tasted fine too, the only war I have to settle would be the the beans porridge, it was average and I felt they could’ve spiced it up more but who knows they might have been playing it safe on the pepper side, not every Nigerian likes 🌶 like me 😂. Lest I forget, their ice cream is just IT, tastes perfecto 👌 and a scoop just costs N1k!

I visited Cactus yesterday for the second time. My first experience wasn’t great. I hoped my second experience would be better. I ordered the chicken and shrimp creamy pasta. The waiter brought bread and a butter/olive mix. My pasta came in under ten minutes and I was happy. The chicken chunks were a lot and tasty. I was halfway through my meal when I took a bite of the shrimp. I noticed an off taste, took another shrimp and noticed an even worse taste. The shrimp was definitely bad. I told the waiter and the food was taken away. I was asked to order something else but but my appetite was ruined. I eventually ordered the Alfredo pasta with chicken and mushroom but only took one bite. I also ordered a screwdriver drink and asked for it to be strong. The bartender didn’t disappoint. Overall, I won’t be coming back any time soon.

Restaurant with an amazing sea side view ,one of the best on the Lagos Coasts.I recommend you trying fish and chips and some nice cocktails.Beautiful environment that is also inclusive for all ages and personalities.

Cactus is that place you go to when you’re too lazy to cook at home. It’s like home away from home.. Quite literally. Their Breakfast menu is my fave. You can’t go wrong with the English breakfast. And their evening time burgers are to die for.

Read the reviews and thought we had to try out this place. Drove half an hour to get to the place, but it was well worth it.The macaroni and beef burger looks better than it does on the picture in the menu. The red hot buffalo wings didnt let us down as the spice levels were very good.Not sure where they their prawns from, but the prawn diavolo was a massive dish with good kick to it. Add the creamy mash potatoes and its heaven.Couldnt finish the dishes so had to grab a doggy bag. Highly recommended if youre nearby.

I did not enjoy my visit to this place. Number 1, you arent allowed to sit anywhere you want. They would come and move you about talking about how where you are sitting isnt a table for 2. Secondly, the portions are very small for some particular meals. The spaghetti bollognaise was particularly small and there was no protein on the side. It was just cooked with some minced meat and a slice of very dry bread.The waiter who attended to us was also very cold and just acted like he was being forced to work. The place was also full today so it didnt have a cozy ambience at all. I also didnt feel satisfied after eating here. I felt like I didnt get my moneys worth from the meal and experienceLet me not even get started on the plating. ZERO plating skills. I am actually angry.We spent 30k on a meal for 2 and it was neither tummy or emotionally satisfying

I love Cactus...the ambience... the options for food, the variety of sitting locations. I love sitting by the water....On more than one occasion I have visited and the breakfast menu was still available but somehow I am still there when the lunch menu became available so I get to eat twice!!!If you are a Churros fan, you just need to try it out here.I have had just one miss with them.. Their Calzone. It may have been a bad day or maybe I had higher expectations but that is not enough to take away a star.When you are done with food, you can stop for some pastries (not for me) or ice cream!!!Their tiramisu flavour is to die for.... and they have gelato too..Update as I visited again today... no more Churros😔 I would appreciate guidance on a place I can get Churros from in Lagos..I tried their chicken escalope .. I opted for rice on the off chance that my kid would prefer it to the chips. No deal. It was actually good but I was way too full to attempt it. Their ice cream options were boring today as well. Everyone knows Cactus. Amazing how they always manage to reengineer and keep their clients coming in spite of all the newer places that keep springing up every day in Lagos. Their outdoor seating is also nice and spacious and can expand to fit many more people. And the place is family friendly.

An amazing place to be. I love the serene environment and food. Although the prices are on the high sides it is worth it. Sundays are the best days for a family outing at Cactus restaurant, there is children play area, a private room for families/ couples, an ice cream area and an outdoor area for everyone. If you are planning a family outing, have at least 25000 naira upward. They accept transfers and cash not sure about POS.

Very busy place! Not a surprise though because their service is excellent. The food portions are so huge and they don’t compromise on quality. The fresh complimentary bread has no crumbs which I love (can’t stand crumbs). The decor is modest and warm, makes you feel comfy as soon as you walk in. And the waiters, lovely lovely people. Please leave a tip!

Food is top tier and the ambience is one of the best in Lagos. It’s so serene and relaxing. You can either dine inside, or outside and watch the boats go by. Both are awesome experiences. The pizza I ordered was tasty and delicious.

How do you like your pancakes? Well I love mine extra fluffy and not burnt in any way.Unfortunately the pancakes I ordered at Cactus were burnt and not as fluffy as I’ll have liked.The pancakes were placed on branded paper that kept tearing as I dug into the pancakes. I get the aesthetic of the paper but it’s honestly not a great idea. It’s not functional for me. I don’t want to eat pancake and paper.I ordered their sorbet for dessert. If I remember correctly, it’s lemon and some berry sorbet. It was a little too sweet for my sweet tooth lol.Price:Pancakes - N1,000 per piece and I ordered 3 piecesScrambled eggs - N1,000It comes with complementary orange juice which I asked they pour in a glass instead and maple syrup.Sorbet - I’m not sure if the price per scoop, maybe N800.My overall experience here is so-so. I’m not impressed by the easy-to-make pancakes that got burnt. The service was good though, attentive waiters, ready to assist.
