Good location with decent parking on the weekend and attentive security staff, clean shop with good quality books, a decent selection of childrens books (but it could be better) many of which are decently priced, and youll find a few gifts there too. Large selection of notebooks and lots of other writing supplies for those of us who love paper. Not enough childrens books by Nigerian or African authors, though. Not enough birthday cards and their wrapping paper is expensive. (Gift shop at Renee Supermarket in Ikoyi is much dustier but has more cards, more gifts for adults, and their wrapping paper is much cheaper.) Overall a good experience and I left with most of what I wanted. Laterna is a Lagos oldie I recommend

I great Christian bookshop. But the people at the cash point keep missing customer profile. You should have your regular customer profile saved on your system.. The lady at the cash point keep saying we will update the system since 2020. Went there again last week to buy journals and it was same story. Management need to train staff properly

Cold but fun.A lot of amazing books there...They also have an annexe for kids. They have a lot of books, both Christian, motivations, CDs, kids books, stationery, bible, clothes, cards, envelopes, every stationery you might need. Even Back to School item.All amazing. I doubt if they wont have anything you want.The building is big and spacious. Everyone is friendly and helpful.They assist you in getting the things you need.It is your one stop shop for all books ranging from the kids, youth, elderly and so on.

This is my go-to for books...physical books I mean. So many books for sale. A proper departmental bookstore. Got 90% of all of my physical books on photography here. They have quite some. There are books on music, cooking and others. For kids, this is where you want to bring your kids if you want them to develop good reading culture.They have a reading club that organizes book reading for kids. This takes place one a month on Saturday from 11am to 2pm. They get readers to come read selected books to children of selected ages. It is so much fun and education in one piece. I recommend Laterna!

They had two stores. One was for majorly for adult and another wss for teens and children.They have varieties of books from Christian fiction to non-fiction, jotters, journals and so on.I was able to get the Bible of my choice and a pretty neat journal here. Lovely place.

It’s the best physical bookstore I know of in Lagos, they’ve got all kinds of books and if you need a book they don’t have, they’ll help you get it; they have a large network of publishers and would always find a way to get your books for you.I only wish they’d take the digital part of their business seriously and make it as seamless as walking in to pick up a book.

Laterna Ventures is located off the road that houses Eko Hotels, in Victoria Island, Lagos. They have a variety of books for sale, a lot of them actually. The books are also reasonably priced.The genres on sale range from business, motivational, christian fiction, relationship to children. I cant quite cover all the genres they have on sale, but it is quite a number.They also have children books for sale in a separate building, which is about 2 blocks away from the main building. It is an impressive collection they have. They also sell gift items for children and host book clubs.

All they are books very cheap and I encourage people to go and patronise them.

I love reading. The smell of new books is heady. Laterna is one place that when I get there I always spend over my budget. The books though not the cheapest, are well categorized, beautifully displayed and they have great supportive staff. Whats not to love about Laterna?

Hands down one of the go-to bookstores in Lagos. Huge collection, friendly staff and parking spots.Everyone is catered for under a wide variety of subjects. And the prices are well, reasonable if you consider what you will spend shipping in from Amazon..My only grouse is their website that is not as fluid as a 21st century site should be.

One of the best (Christian) Bookstores. Theyve books from many categories: business, faith, self-help, childrens, etc...Its easy to get buried in their stacks for hours perusing books. Fun place. Their staffs are ever polite.

Still one of the best places to get christian literature and music. Bought a few CDs last week Friday and a friend asked if she could get the same CDs because we had a meeting at an office close by. As usual, I couldnt resist helping someone build their spiritual life so I consented and was back there. Recommend the place if you are in town. Range of books are very wide so you can be fed spiritually.
