This is one of the places Ill advise you to see in Lagos, if youve never been there, even if you were born in Lagos, new to Lagos, or from the abroad. First world grade infrastructure courtesy of MTN in partnership with the Lagos State government. No too much words, just go see. Entrance through the MTN Headquarters gate at Falomo roundabout or from the jetty at the water front, if your boat ride terminates there. In short, why not dock or terminate that boat ride right there. Thank me later.
My favourite boat terminal in Lagos. Got a big waiting area, good security around the dock, safety officers inclusive. For the wait time, theres a bar and a lil take out place; affordable at at.
The facility is a Lagos State World Class Standard Terminal for Waterways passenger movement. It majorly connect Ikorodu, VI, Lagos Island and Apapa areas for now, with a wider plan to include Statewide waterways stops. A visit to the Terminal will assure you of a progress future for Lagos Waterways Transportation System.
This boat jetty is very organised and the boats were in good condition. The terminal is comfortable
Five Cowries Terminal is the Lagos State Waterways Authority, LASWA Yard Falomo Jetty, Ikoyi Lagos, Nigeria. It is located opposite the MTN office under the Falomo Bridge. The facilities includes ATM Gallery, Cafe, VIP Lounge, Elevator, Restaurant, 800 car capacity multi level carpark, offices, Ticketing and Waiting area
A really welcome development for those that are not aquaphobic. I was going to pass through this terminal to badagry, unfortunately there wasnt a decent boat except I pay for a private boat plus escort which is really pricey compared to the general boats that people ride to ikorodu. It was quite disappointing for such a beautiful place.
Beautiful place. Neat and organised
State of the art installment. The Lagos state government really went all out to give this establishment what it needs to call itself a 21st century ferry terminal. The ambience, inviting aura and sophistication of this place gives the impression of a place that tells Nigeria is able. The restroom were clean with automated taps that sense movement. Knowing this is a public place, those taps are solid thought.More modern boats should be gotten to ply the waters....
U get to see the wonderful Wbar itself
It has a good architectural structure. A good relaxation centre for those waiting for boat. Well coordinated staffs and environs.
This is a beautiful terminal in the heart of Ikoyi that allows you use the Ferry to every part of Lagos on the sea.
I love the architectural design of this terminal and the artistic installations they have there. I believe their boat rides are affordable.
Beautiful location for a small event. The venue is close to the Waterside, and I like the facility is excellently maintained. You can take a boat ride here at the jetty over the Lagos waters and the sun set here is beautiful. I want to believe this is a private-public partnership between LASWA & MTN.
Had a bit of delay, but, the overall experience was positive. Good safety practice and procedure, equipment are in good condition, boats were neat and well maintained
Quality and superb venue of international standard. Well done Lagus state government. Eko o ni baje, o baajeee tiii!!!!
Nice place to book ticket on water ways to places of convinience, and when all roads are on stand still.
Great idea but the govt needs to do more and put more infrastructure in place so that the waterways can be a viable means of transportation in Lagos.
Beautiful jetty with a nice waiting area. Good food on the first floor. The water front joint is under construction
Clean and well maintained environment, a place you can get fast and safe water Transport away from the crazy Lagos traffic. Boats are available for different locations within Lagos.
A beautiful piece to behold. A great place to be. It is just like an International Airport environment
Nice jetty. Lagos state is trying with its waterways. Only the boats are run by locals and are quite old. Modern boats/ferry should be considered.
Central water transportation hub in Lagos Island. A very convenient boarding station for passengers.
Poor management. Our boat almost sunk and they made no deliberate efforts to provide alternatives. Individual staff made alternative arrangements N10k per person on a one-way trip to Badagry.Must commend their swift response to the distress call from the Captain.
The place is lovely, nice waiting area, fresh breeze😁😁 . The lifejackets are clean, the boats are in good condition. Due to past experience, I swore off ferries but todays ride was smooth. No hassle and very fast.
Youll get to your destination quickly, and the environment is very clean
Nice place and ambiance, good service but high price. The price can be tolerated but worst part was the mandatory for add ons.Was made to pay for a fries I dont need even when its listed separately with it own price from what I ordered on the menu.
The Jetty is beautiful, built to international standard. 👍LASG
The best of boat and water way experience seats with them
This Jetty terminal is the only very very good one aroudn Lagos.Works round the clock and you can get to anywhere from this jetty
Nice setup but poorly administered
Great. I use it for all cowrie transportation means as well
Besides thats its a neat ferry boarding port, theres also a cute bar/lounge overlooking the water and generally great ambience especially after sun down. If youre around Falomo area, worth a visit.
Thia facility is good, the parking space is very big, the seats are comfortable, the jetty is well planned. Good place!
I so it as a global concept as huge progressive for now and up to future is an unforgettable achievement.
Best jetty so far.
Its a pretty place, good architectural design (its shaped into a boat) but its underutilised! Lagos State boat is to the right hand of the location and other boat operators are to the left just in front of Wbar.
No wahala I boarded ferry with out wasting time and it took us about 30 minutes to get to Ikorodu
Its an ultramodern boat station.
There were unexplained wait times. I experienced a 20-30mins wait time where I wasnt particularly sure what was going on. But a nice ferry trip)
Ease of access but communication is poor after ticket is purchased
Conducive environment and Beautiful view of the Lagoon
Its a good amusement park for sailors
That was good experiences,my first time there was amazing..I love it there many more times to come
It’s beautiful, clean, has a bar; an atm.. but they kept me waiting for long due to no available boat. I was heading to ebute in ikorodu. That’s the only con.*edit - I ended up leaving after spending over 2 hours waiting for the boat, they said they won’t leave until it’s full.. so I left.
Falomo ferry terminal.. also w- bar locations.. perfect for fun and site seeing
You cant help but notice this building when descending from Falomo bridge towards Ikoyi. This building houses the LASWA station and the Waterfront lounge. The LASWA-Uber project is currently being test-ran but the bar is kicking. You get a view of the ferries linef up at the jetty while you wait at the station or dine at the lounge
A nice place to board a speed boat ⛵
Fastest way to get to ikorodu
Five Cowries is know for housing The W Bar and also the Ikoyi Ferry Terminal; where you can board a Boat to Ikorodu
Great place! Solid facility; My Lagos is working
It is a very nice place ,neat and conducive, the place has a well organised park space with good security systems
Kindly check my review on LAGFERRY...
Spacious waiting area. Standard jetty
Lagos state government is really doing it best to better the citizens
The boat needed more security features to meet up with international standard which will allay fear of capsizing. Its getting better than when individual local made boat alone ply the sea
Nice surprise. Great DJ last Sunday
One of the Best boat Jetties I have seen and used in Lagos. A premium facility connecting Lagosians through inland waterways.
Serene atmosphere with a classy lounge Wbar
Very nice place
To notch, well managed. Very cozy environment
State of the art terminal, very lovely
Very nice place.
Such a Serene and conducive environment
The FIVE COWRIES TERMINAL is a magnificent building just off falomo just behind the MTN car Park. It is a boat terminal and Houses the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA).You can get boat rides to different parts of Lagos from here. The Building was constructed by MTN and donated to Lagos State, obviously you could feel the yellow touch once you get into it but then what do we expect?Anyway it have got all kinds of Accessibility Consideration during the Construction ranging from the Entrance to the exit , the Rest rooms, Restaurant upstairs I will say Kudos to those that did the Construction... ♿♿ Was really considered. We All see the Potential of what this Terminal could become in years to come, My Fear is still the Nigerian Factor.... Maintenance .
Lovely boats and Nice Receptions
Boats are readily available.
Nicely located. A good place to joint jetty going to different part of Lagos.
Its a clean and neat Jetty. I really love the environment.
This Jetty as akin to an airport! Its beautiful and very well managed. LASWA has done an amazing job with this place. Keep it up.
Had a wonderful experience there. More boats are needed. Cool and serene environment 👍
Great place with lovely views. Easily accessible too!
