I really like this place.Decor is beautiful and kind of cultural.The entrance is really pretty with a “danfo” bus artistically designed & parked right infront then a pretty patio before you walk in through the doors to a big dining space.There is a Queen Idia mask and portraits of music Legends like Fela on their wall.Their menu is very Nigerian, delta meals like banga soup & banga rice are my favorite here. You should also try their egusi soup.They also have healthy Nigerian meal options which I believe is amazing.Best part is that they are very affordable, almost like a bukka.There’s a large piano for guests to try out their hands with.Delivery options are available.My only complain, the menu is quite large so not everything on it is usually available all the time.

Beautiful ambience and food is great and cheap too

This restaurant is located in one of the high brow areas in lagos and has a great ambience with nice sélections of tasty African foods as well as grill options. The best part is the very affordable pricing...compared to other restaurants in same area.

Came home late from work and ordered Ofe Nsala and pounded yam with chicken. The pounded yam LITERALLY came from inside the FREEZER, yes FREEZER. It was scalding hot to touch the wrap but it had chunks of ice at the same time !! Phenomenal!! The chicken also came with FRIES cos apparently Chicken and FRIES is what goes with Pounded yam. Thank God for the FRIES though cos thats what i ended up eating with the chicken. First and OBVIOUSLY LAST TIME Ill be ordering from here. UNUSUAL CUISINE. Befitting aint it ?

Unusual Cuisine is an upscale restaurant and bar in Lekki Phase 1. It has a very quite, calm, beautiful atmosphere.They serve the best of freshly-made Nigerian and continental foods. Theyve got staff with the best of customer service experience.If you want to relax in a good ambiance, this is a place to be.

We just have few places in town that offers the quality of meal you will get here. They offer tailor made meals with such unique taste that glues you to always knocking on their door. One good thing about them is their promptness to orders which is quite encouraging

This spot has some of the best meals Ive had and this is no exaggeration, well cooked and tasty meals plus right price, definitely worth every Naira. Also a very good relaxation spot to unwind.

Its just a regular fast food restaurant. I didnt like it. Why the word Cuisine though? Please check your address on google map ok. Your address on your page says lekki but on google map it leads us to a regular fast food restaurant in Victoria island on Saka Tinubu. Check the photo i just uploaded here.

Im never ordering from here again. The order was confirmed at 1:05 pm with a call from the restaurant. I should have known it was going to be a trainwreck when I was told Id have to pay a delivery fee different from what was quoted when I made the order on Jumia Food.When I had not received my order by 3:41 pm, almost 3 hours after my order was confirmed, I called the restaurant and was told the delivery guy had left and they would try to contact him to know where he was at the time. What!!!??? For something that should have been delivered in 45 - 50 mins? I simply told them to cancel the order. 15 mins later, someone calls me that hes at my gate for delivery. Id have been a complete idiot to still receive that order and I dont understand how that wasnt clear to them.Extremely poor service from people whom we cut so much slack in the first place. The bar was already low guys!

They never fail with the food but be warned order before you go as they cook alll their food from fresh so the wait time could be 45-70 minutes, but you will never regret the wait. I only go there for the food so dont really stay long after eating. My faves are any vegetable soup, banga soup and off course the fresh pounded yam.@vienstylez

Unusual Cuisine is an amazing place. The Nkwobi is simply amazing. Pounded Yam and Efo Riro is out of this world. It is also very pocket friendly considering the location. A plate of Pounded Yam with Two pieces of beef will cost about 1,500 Naira.
