I loved it there!The food was great. The waitress was super covetous, she had a charming smile and great personality. The ambience was relaxing and you could tell from the furniture arrangements that its a children friendly restaurant.I also love the simplicity of the decor down right to the menu (it gave a French restaurant vibe; sorta🤭). Most importantly, it didnt take long for my food to be served.I also found Samanthas to be surprisingly affordable (I mean affordable affordable 😄 ).

Best place with food, snacks, drinks, and grill.Anything you want to achieve, they have it, name it...Do you want a party time out with friends, or a time to seat and relax with friends or just you working during the day with tour coffee... This place is amazing.I recommend it to yall.... Have fun.

I had such high hopes for this place...I mean their food pictures on social media are mouth watering but it was a case of ‘what I ordered vs what I got’ the breakfast meal wasn’t bad so maybe their specialty is that. Another patron had pasta and it looked quite tasty so maybe I’ll try them again and order that but all in all, wasn’t impressed.Edit- so I went back for the pasta and it just didn’t do it for me, it could have be done with less tomatoes, the tomatoes taste was just too over powering for me. I enjoyed my dessert though.

Visited this place yesterday ( 07.03.21). Nice ambiance, courteous staff and huge parking area. We had beef burgers and they were really great in terms of taste and smell. The air conditioning needs to be stronger as we felt it was little weaker.

Poor and disappointing service.I had heard a lot about the Resturant and I was excited to visit for brunch on a Sunday but I was very disappointed with the service I received.We arrived and had to wait almost 10 minutes for a menu to be brought. The waiter literally tossed it on the table and walked away.Two minutes later, the waiter brings the brunch menu on paper and informs us that the prices have been reviewed and for every item, we should add N3,000 to it as that would be the new price. So food for N5,000 would be N8,000 now.The waiter left to chat on the phone. We waited for another 10-15 minutes without being attended to and no one to beckon on to take our orders.Dissatisfied, we left to another Resturant.It was pointless waiting almost 25 minutes without being attended to. He watched us walk past him and acted like he didn’t see us.Utterly distasteful.

Not a fancy place but its a pretty setting. Good customer service. Had fun playing cards with my date. I think people are allowed to sit and work because there were a number of people doing that inside. Giving a 3 star because I could see the bartender cleaning the surface of my glass with his fingers to make it clean, yikes!, lol. Enjoyed my cocktail (dont know which one) loved my burger!!!

Lovely ambience. Sat outside as it was a bit chilly which was just fine comfy and relaxing. Lovely decor on the inside as well. The food and smoothies were great! I really enjoyed them and appreciated the inclusion of veggies. The pricing is fair but could be reduced a notch to enhance the value for money feel.Customer service was good too. The rest room was clean which I appreciated although there were wall geckos on the outside which I assume was because it rained that day. No complains beyond that.Overall a lovely place to talk business and/or relax.

We went for the weekend brunch but the staff seemed confused as they didnt know they had that option. We had to talk to the owner before we were attended to. It was also really hot and it took a long long time for us to get our food. I enjoyed the joga class that was happening there though and a particular waitress that was nice to us.

Nice ambience! They need to print out their menu. We had to go to their Instagram to check what we wanted. Even with that we didnt get what we order and it was like clear rip off. We ordered a hotdog with avocado, bacon, chicken slices, ham and what we got was the hotdog with lettuce and tomatoes with no feedback as to why we didnt get the one we requested. They also charged same amount for it. Definitely I will not recommend this place. I have added what the picture of what we got.

Literally the worst dining experience I have ever had. Uncooked food, bad service and a lying staff. We were all sick after eating here. The food is in no way worth the already ridiculous prices they charge for it. Do not waste your money here

Ive never gone wrong with anything Ive ordered from Samanthas; I expect fresh, hearty food, and rich, remarkable flavors everytime, and theyve delivered it! From pizzas to pastries, Ive never been disappointed. Yum! 👌🏽

Update, November 2019Not as great as before.Cocktail recommendation: French Kiss---------Everything here is great. The food, the service, the space.The space is really nice. Its not great foe pictures though. Theres also an outdoor area. It rained the day I went so I didnt stay there.The burger menu is a lot. Surprisingly. They have great variety.Theres a bookshelf and lots of magazines for you to peruse as you wait. You can also play board and card games.

I had my first burger and I didnt regret it. It was awesome experience. Ambient environment with awesome experience. There are different varieties to choose from. Its nice place for group dining. Outdoor seating available also.Not just burger there are lots to eat around. They have good tea options.

Visited this place during the Master Card burger week. The burger looked so yum on social media but irl, it was sub par.Beautiful interior but the meals are basic at best.

Samantha’s is very stunning and cozy. The staffs are very warm and willing to help out with everything. However, don’t expect to get what you initially want to order. It took me about 20 minutes to place my order because the waiter kept saying the things that I wanted weren’t available or not available. While I was waiting I had the chance to play Ludo with my friends and have good conversations. The food took an extra 20 at 30 minutes to get out of the kitchen. The pasta was very tasty, not spicy at all. The lamb chops are the star of the show hère. I’ve been here twice and ordered the same thing and it tastes the same, it’s just amazing. The tomato sauce on the side is a little questionable it’s like tomato paste in a cup and that’s meant to be ketchup I’m guessing but it’s no where near that. The pepper sauce can also choke you if you’re not used to pepper. The burger was basic, a little medium rare on the inside and properly cooked on the outside, nothing extra ordinary about it, the fries was well seasoned. Would give the burger a solid 5/10. Apart from the cozy interior this restaurant also has extra room right in front for smoking and relaxing. It’s also close to other nice small restaurants and cafe.

I have had this place saved in my want to go list for a few weeks now and finally made it here today. They get 5 stars for look and feel.It is small but cozy... There is an outdoor sitting area. The wait staff are attentive and it was quite easy to get their attention.Now, the food was not so hot. Presentation was okay but it could have tasted better...I also found the drink options limited. Smoothies, Chapman, milkshakes or water...I have crossed it off but dont think I will be excited about visiting again..

I visited Samanthas Bistro in February 2020 and was pleasantly surprised. It was quite hidden but Google map got us there. I was impressed with the parking compared to a lot of other restaurants in Lagos. It was well lit, the music wasnt too loud. .. Perfect ambience! I had their garlic bread, chicken wings and raspberry iced tea. I love spices and could have used an extra dash of garlic and pepper. Besides that it was 10/10.

Cute space, the strawberry milkshake was just there nothing special, the chicken suya tasted more like chicken with kuli kuli. Overall it was okay.

The Customer service was great. Our waiter was courteous and bubbly.Ambience was nice and cosy. I went at brunch time so it wasnt busy. It got hot after a bit though I was sitting outside.The presentation of the food was great but my pancakes were too sweet and they sprinkled icing on top.The teriyaki quarter grilled chicken was bomb though.Overall, if youre looking for a quiet place for brunch, Ill recommend it but if youre particular about how you prefer your food, let your waiter know.

We enjoyed this place very much! It felt like we were having lunch in a friends house. There are books to read and board games to play. We ate great food and then played board games. The prices are reasonable. The menu is full. Prepare to take some time to study the menu. You may want a lot of things because the price is reasonable! We did not wait long to get our order. The toilets are small and you can bump into customers of the opposite sex :( All in all we had a good time and will go back. :)

Just went there for a brunch with my girls and we had picked this over Eric Kaiser because we wanted to try something new. We were met with uncooked pancakes(when I say uncooked I mean dripping batter) about 2 hours of waiting for the wrong order to be Brought. There was hair on our plates and flies in the smoothies. To make matters worse the staff lied to us and acted like we were crazy for expecting good food. Lastly every single one of us got food poisoning from the food as we attempted to eat the edible parts(clearly a mistake). If you are looking for an honest review this is it. Unless you are trying to pay for hunger and food poisoning DO NOT GO HERE!!

The food and smoothies are very enjoyable. Also Called the burger bar. Their assortment of burgers is mouth watering and very tasty. The environment is very cosy with a homely feel to it. And you can choose to dine indoor or outdoor whichever you prefer.

The decor is nice. You have a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. I had the seafood pasta which was okay. The decor is very quaint.

Went here for lunch and had the Oxtail curry with coconut rice. I actually wanted to try the goat/ lamb curry but they had run out. Blame it on the valentine lovers who were out yesterday. The meal was really delicious and the oxtail was soft and juicy. However, I didn’t enjoy the mixed berry smoothie as it tasted a bit sour. Additionally, I believe the owners should do something about the flies on the patio. It makes for an uncomfortable experience as I spent most of the time chasing them away. Will definitely go back to try the Gourmet burger though. ( The meat patty wasn’t ready).

They can be far better... The place is not well maintained on the inside or the outside... The waitresses have no clue about the food menu or the drink menu. I am not exaggerating! We went on Sunday and ordered 3 burgers as on Instagram the pics are great. It wasnt too crowded but the service was slow... One burger came first and like after 10mn the other 2!! It was OK not much as expected and the bun was too small... The best thing that I think Samantha herself came to our table and apologized about that day mess but it seemed that it is something regular coz the same things happened with my friends...Dont be fooled with Instagram, u have to go, try it and judge by yourself....

Here I was on a Thursday evening pondering on the next place to savor. An Instagram sponsored post pops up and displays 3 incredible milkshakes. Samantha’s bistro😃.My first reaction was, I’ve been here like ages ago (4 or 5 years earlier) nothing screamed at me there. You know in Nigeria, bistro’s even compete in price as restaurants. So I went to their main page and realized, they seems interesting. It’s like a new management is onboard.Friday morning, I decided to stop at samantha’s. I asked for the bistro full breakfast and the waiter says “sorry, the only one we have is waffle and chicken” in my head, I said I knew. Grudgingly I asked for it. As daughter of Zion was already hungry 🤤 .They brought the food and I swear, it’s the best waffle I’ve ever had. The tiramisu sauce would have only been made by a god..the chicken in itself was average.. still wonder why no restaurant as impressed me by serving life chicken cos see ehn frozen chicken can never compare…So I came here for the milkshake right? Unfortunately, it didn’t come same time with the food..so technically, I devoured the waffle before the shakes.. that is to say, no combined meal picture”The shake is hereI ordered the lemongrass shake.. let me just say shalom… milkshake with a slide of cake??? How now??? But the interesting thing is that the cake and shake wasn’t sugary… had the right balance and texture.Anyways, that’s how they have spoilt my diet for the next week..I gave it a 3 star cos.. you can’t have only waffles as the available meal on the menu.. it’s wrong, irrespective of the time I got there. The club sandwich was rubbish. The pineapple juice which was meant to be fresh was clearly watered down and the waiter lied about it. Even though there were few patrons, the service was abysmally slow. The free tables were not cleared early. I would NOT recommend.

I was allowed to pair my food to my choice , I like the fact that the chef can be thoughtful to allow a customer bend their menu. I give you all stars for that. This is not just a restaurant, it feels like home with the chairs so comfy and the games around you can play with your group while your food is being prepared. I loved my grilled pork with sauce and basmati rice. Normally pork is served with a different side, but I requested for rice and all this came through. The burger was so yummy cos I had a bite 😋 just so I come on here to rate exactly how it tasted. And the beef was perfectly well cooked as we wanted. I will visit Samanthas Bistro whenever I am in Lagos again. I also enjoyed my cocktail, its called Lady marmalade Thank you for your services.

The service and ambience for Samanthas bistro is really nice and the meals are pretty consistent, only issue is that they always forget to make my meal with extra chilli when I ask for it.

Real Cafe Atmosphere

The bistro is currently offering limited service as per the covid19 regulations for hospitality sector but its open for delivery and pick-up. Theres a good variety of pastry and meal offerings available for the discerning food lover. The ambience is lovely, with a cosy interior and warm exterior out under a covered area. I cant wait til its fully reopened, it promises much more.

Gourmet burger bar is same as Samantha’s bistro. It’s a lovely place to eat as they’ve got lots of varieties on the menu. I was there with a couple of friends to try out there burgers. It one of the best burgers have had in a while, there are about a lot of different types of burgers on the menu and each one is different from the other and the owner has a way of playing around with the making of the burgers that makes each one different from the other, I was able to try about 3 of the burgers and I can say they very delicious and I’m sure this place will be one of my spots for burger in Lagos. The environment is so cool and relaxing. We sat outside which is a bit spacious and will be great for a kind of group eat out or hangout. I was lucky to meet the owner who is a lovely lady and very friendly and engaging, the staffs were friendly as well and attended to us promptly.All in all Gourmet burger bar is place to visit to have a taste of good burger in Ikoyi.Note: it’s not only burger they sell I was there for the burger that’s why my review is in the burger.

Samantha’s is great! The staff was really courteous and hospitable. I sat outside and relaxed without stress. The food was delicious. The burger felt a bit small but it was good. They don’t serve ketchup but some other organic mix which wasn’t bad. I liked it and will go back.

They had varieties of wine but all from Argentina, I had snail and yam chips and I loved it.They outside seat area had fantastic wood carvings and good ventilation, its perfect for 4-5 hangout of friends.

Samanthas bistro for me was amazing. I had seafood pasta and it was really worth it. The food is also very affordable. Indoor setting is beautiful because you can have a casually quiet meal.

I love the ambient light in this place. Food is well prepared. Has this exotic feel but not as that. Had full English breakfast cost about ₦4,000 and it was ok! Croissant, eggs, greens, quite filling but Id love it about ₦1,000 less. The kids loved the garlic bread. Thats like ₦1,500 worth it though. Their salads cost an average of ₦3,000 and they have a variety of them.I like it as it isnt as expensive as their sort of menu would ask for. Service could be better though. On their menu they have salads, burgers, lovely smoothies and drinks. I understand they also handle orders from customers online.

OK the place is cool, but the menu doesnt show the right price and they add a 15% service charge that means you leave irritated. Just add it to the price why dontcha.
