Was here for a one day retreat so I wasnt able to try out the accommodations and some other facilities available but the conference hall was okay and I loved the beach. Also, the boat ride to the resort was fun. The food was really good and the staff were friendly. The only problem was, at some point there was no running water in the bathrooms and we had to be directed to an outdoor tap.
Ok, let me start by saying the ambience is perfect, its really calm and quiet. Their food is very good and delicious. Rooms are very clean and beautiful. However, there are little issues like their sofas being stained, the room AC not working, their water heater not heating properly. Also, there are some issues of some staffs being downright rude especially those in charge of the pick up to the beach. They have no single courtesy in them. Other staffs were however amazing, helping at every turn to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The kids had an amazing time with indoor games and other external amusement. Horse riding is fun. We went swimming and amazingly the pool is perfect but then the toilets at the poolside were quite neglected and very irritating. Their intercomms also doesnt work. You need to use your phone to call front desk if you need anything.Aside these complaints, Ill certainly recommend this place over and over again. The price is worth it. We had an amazing time!
The place needs to be brought back to its glory status by proper maintenance. Its a shadow of what is advertised. My only thumbs up goes to the swimming pools.PS. Drinking water is a luxury here. Plan to carry some packs along if youll be spending several days.
Poor poor place to be. Expectation and reality are very very different. What a mess. Food is so costly yet the quality is not befitting. Same goes for services rendered. Only good thing is that there is a place to take good pictures so you look like you went somewhere exotic. No beach houses, all housing is far from the beach.
I must confess, we had an amazing time. I took my tour group @thaglobetrotters there on May 25th. The Inagbe Fiesta 3.0Those that went with lagos ferry had few challenges on the way and was on one spot in the middle of an ocean for about 45mins (fuel finished). I was quite disappointed. This is not Inagbe Resort’s fault as the Ferries are being managed by the Lagos State Government (that was what I was told). I’ll advise you use the speed boat as means of transportation. It’s faster. You’ll get there in 20mins. Ferry can take about an hour.We forgot this experience immediately we got inside the resort.Oh the food was everything! The taste was out of this world! Food was in excess. If you have a large appetite, you can eat as much as you want.I also loved the palm wine! J couldn’t get enough. Pure and unadulterated. You should never leave Inagbe without buying it as take home even after having some during the fiesta. The asun too was yummy 😋.I went with a large group of 50 people. They were informed of out attendance and they didn’t make prior arrangements for where we could sit as a group, games for the group and activities for the group which I didn’t find encouraging but at the same time, it’s a fiesta so you’re expected to find your way I guess.I was able to talk to someone to get us few games for team bonding like tug of war and board games. It later turned out to be fun.I would have given them a 5star but I had to take one off due to poor arrangement for groups. If you are going with a large group, make sure you make requests of what your group want and follow up before that day as there’ll be different group and yours won’t be the only one they will attend to.I’ll recommend you wait till sunset before you leave! Oh such beauty. I almost didn’t want to leave. I will I had booked for a room earlier.I’ll be visiting with my group again before the end of this year. You can check us on IG @thaglobetrotters so you can join us on next groove!I am so looking forward to next fiesta!Go and have fun. Don’t forget to share pictures with us.Regards,Ms. Dara
Very reserved. Away from all the hustle and bustle of every day life
It was a beautiful experience I must say
Cool place for vacation!
This overpriced resort seems to have been abandoned by its owners. most of what was advertised on their website is not working. A responsible management would have taken the offers for quad bike, boat ride ,horse ride away from the website but they seem not to care about integrity. The management of this place just seems not to care. Some of the staff were also complaining about neglect by the management.I Couldnt use the gym because it was abandoned no one was manning it, on my second day there was no bartender or grill at the beach. They left an exposed electric socket in my room not minding if I brought children. The TV remote cover was missing(A replacement can be bought for N500) .There was no WiFi. Intercom was not working. The beachside was dirty you cant easily jog there. The dinner buffet and breakfast buffet was ok ,they brought live band to play on Saturday but the glaring inefficiencies seems to have outweighed every other thing. Power was also available 24 hours. This place should be redflagged for potential visitors until the owners do the needful some of which are just basic things. The potential for greatness is still there if they take correction.
Scenery is beautiful... But management is awful. Can u imagine being in the bathroom with after applying soap and the shower 🚿 goes off as soon a d light goes off and u have to wait 30mins for light to come on..? Extension is not working(intercom), is it difficult to at least place bucket in d room? Its just a rip off. Guys if u would b coming b sure to have a bucket. And make sure u stay only in cross river section.
Very beautiful resort, my room was a long walk from the beach but I enjoyed every minute of it.
Good place for a getaway. Facilities and services need some improvement though.
Excellent get away resort. Maybe not 100% compared to what it used to be due to long break from the earlier lockdown but Inagbe is still 100% correct getaway location. The employees are professional and empathetic, facilities have been upgraded and the well maintained beachside is worth being here for, anytime anyday
Good for a getaway. Facilities already failing. Place is neat anyway.
This is a location with great potential to be the best resort in Africa but has been run down or the owner has poor concept. I spent 3 nights with my family here and it was not a good experience. From poor welcome as our accommodation was not ready. They finally after about 1hrs, hurried us into the OYO (6 bedroom) and we were welcomed by rats & dirty beddings. The management staff led by Paul came over to apologise for the poor service. Our accommodation was changed to RIVERS which was far better but still lacked basic amenities like soap rack. His honest acceptance of failure and effort to make us happy made us accept to complete the remaining days. Sadly theres no wifi, no shop, no varieties of drinks, the beach is dirty & deserted. However, the food was sweet but lacks variety. The hype and pictures are deceitful as they dont reflect reality. The money spent on this holiday resort was a waste.
Breathtaking experience, worth every penny
Very very fun to enjoy
It was an ok experience
Fool but things are too expensive and low quality I suggest taking your own supplies to save stress amd time
Over hyped and delapidating facility, very very poor customer service; off and on electric supply despite paying for full service; boat ride was horrible on return trip as one of the engine failed in d middle of the sea, an all round terrible experience. Staff and resort management have a very long way to go in understanding the basics of hospitality.
Its okay! There needs to be proper arrangement with the boat drivers! It took the fun out of todays fiesta
It needs a lot of maintenance and upgrade. But otherwise a good place for some R&R.
The resort needs to do better, in terms of water ways transportation, whenever they have a fiesta and are expecting a large number of people.
Its a fun place for relaxation and excitement. Good seaside view.
They seem to be under staffed. The place has also lost its sparkle, from poor management. Its a bit boring too
Nice place but I didnt stay long
The resort is the main attraction and theres nothing spectacular about the beach. The place is unnecessarily expensive
Was fun💃💃
I didnt have a nice experience @inagbe resort, sent hours at the boat pick up, organization was Zero. I registered my tour company, paid before time. We had to pay for another boat with my personal money. When the money paid was suppose to over boat ride tho and fro. The management should work on this. Inagbe resort fest should be more organised. Be more concerns about the people your customers and not the money. Poor service
Just visiting today for the very first time. Think am gonna love it 😊
Our very own Silicon Valley.
Poor maintenance overall, poorly trained staff Does not match the hype. The resort has tremendous potential under a great management.
Great place to visit anytime !
Nice and clean environment. live band
Words are not enough to describe the beachfront view. Just visit
Very nice place to relax
A great experience.
Rubbish, too expensive compare to the hype. No much fun activities there
Fun at its best!
Very bad
Chose the venue for my office team bonding...there was no light...spent the whole night chasing off mosquitoes, sunflies, and various insect...the heat was epic
Serene environment
Very horrible place with lack of management.
