This is a very cozy place that reminds my of a typical bar in East London. It looked great and feels great. There needs to be a proper way to find the place. It hides between houses. The two staff seems nice. The food looks great but unfortunately not as tasty as expected. The bacon is more.of an American bacon that a British bacon, its was extra crispy. Also was expecting an authentic full English but its was more like just putting stuff together. I will need to come back to be sure this was just an off day for them or not. I plan to try a few more from their menu to be sure. But for now.... It was just ok.

Churchill is a great place to go for hearty British food. Its surprising but great that they can still manage to keep their prices so low. Meals like Full English Breakfast cost less than N3,000 and are all good quality.Because its a pub, they need a non smoking room. Its frustrating for non-smokers who are trying to eat when everywhere is filled with smoke

You guys! I found gem, this space, from prices to taste, it’s so good! Better than most of these overpriced breakfast places with soggy pancakes. I had all of this & it was less than 5k, it has a pub feel, so If you’re looking for something fancy this space might not be for you. I’ll be going there a lot, until I get tired that is, but, I doubt. I very much recommend!!!

The order never even took off. The task was simple, I’d like to place an order- once payment is confirmed, they should then proceed to make the order and call when ready for my pickup. “Manager” Mercy very rudely said an order can only made when “we see the person” and transfers were not allowed. In this new age? Ha! A joke.

Went in for an English breakfast. Had to sit at one corner so as to limit the fumes coming my way from people smoking. Since theres dining-in, and not just the bar, some effort can be made to create an area thats pretty fumes-free. Anyways, they took a long time only to say that the hash browns werent available anymore. It was just not good and the waitress wasnt helping with the straight face and rather curt sentences. Had a cup of tea and left. Hope they do better. Cant say much about the bar though. I imagine thats okay. I dont know.

I asked for the full English breakfast and I was served a spoilt beef patty. As soon as my plate arrived I could smell how bad it was. The waiter then came out to say the chef said “don’t be angry”. The chef eventually came out to apologise. Just terribleThe rest of the food was really good all the same but I’m definitely not having a beef patty there ever again.

Must have once been a great place to hangout, the staff were as terrible as the place was rundown. The place lacked the basic of basic care, walks peeling off cos of water damage and air-conditioning humming like a busted speaker. The place needs a proper management make over and an overhaul of the staffing. Definitely not visiting again and neither would I recommend that you do..

Ive been to Churchill Bar just once and I had a really great time there. The live band was excellent, their home made pizza was really good and their pricing generally was fair as well. Im looking forward to visiting again soon.

Not pleasant place for expats.In some of the days the bar is just full with dozens of working girls, mostly very old, some of them seems very sick, red eyes, etc.Me and few friends just sat there, and the girls are just came one after the other.We told one of the girls were busy, so the girl said no problem, Ill sit with you and wait, no hurry.Also tried again and again to make us buy a drink for her because she has no money.In many bars in Nigeria, girls has a deal with the bar.The victim will buy a drink for the girl.The girl order the drink (Vodka for example).Once you get the bill, you see its hundreds of dollars because the lady asked for the most expensive Vodka.The girls and the pub share the great profit.Churchill seems to work that way (not sure).The street full with sketchy people, my friend were beaten in this street.Be aware.
