Community learning Centre in a slum located in Akoka. The Centre trains children and youths in various skills of art. The Centre has a performing group which was nurtured over the years. The project is aimed at helping youths beat vices and use their energy positively.

I witnessed the Isale Akoka festival held here. The boat competition was fantastic. Prior to my visit, I could not even imagine that such a place exist at my backyard.

Located in Akoka at the end of an area called Community Road. Footprints of David Art is a place where events are held on a regular basis. Cultural events, work of art and exhibitions. It is located very close to the Bales place and very convenient for the community people to come around. It is not very far from the residential area. Right in front of it is a river and you see people using boats.

Its filled with peace and abundance.Beautiful kids with hopes for a bright future under the tutelage of Mr. Seun Awobajo.Its also popularly called seaside cottage theartre where traditional dance performances are held and kids from the slum are taught the art of dance/drama, visual arts and others.

Footprints of David arts is a neighborhood institute where young ones are been trained to be a professional artist. They also exhibit portrait works. A lovely place to visit for some sort of reflection.

I love the great works done here for the underprivileged - the education and soft skills given to the kids to become better people in the society. However, the location is a bit unpleasant and not conducive for adequate learning. The trainers are great and have great curriculum. Someone needs to be done to move the school from its original location to somewhere more befitting.
