What can I say? This church is so old here is a little history ☺️In 1923, the status of the Church was changed by the St. Saviour’s church Council (incorporated Act No. 2 of 1923 Cap 35) of the Federation of Nigeria.The completion has been made necessary partly by the increased congregation and partly by the need for certain repairs which owing to their cost would have prevented any further work being done for many years. The Church was eventually completed at a cost of One Thousand, Five Hundred Pounds and consecrated on ADVENT SUNDAY, 27TH NOVEMBER, 1932 by Rt. Reverend Frank Melville Jones, the then Anglican Lord Bishop of Lagos. The Chaplain of the Church then was Revd. R.A Wright.

Beautiful

A lovely building. This church is quite historic and yet very lively during their service.Church had its first service in 1909 (to put their history in perspective). They even have an installed pipe-organ (41 stops) in the building. Sound is peculiar.Attended a wedding and the service was straight on, crisp and engaging. Seems like a disciplined church too. They have services on Sunday and mid week service on Wednesday. Daily communion is by 7am.

Pretty cool place to worship, looks like the gathering of who is who in Nigeria. Sermon was relatable, choir was great. Come with your purse filled though, theres like 5 offering.God bless you😁

It is an Anglican communion church, with a foundation from old colonial government officials, who are mostly white British national. Its now transformed into a mixed tribal congregation. Its a well maintained church, with adequate security. Parking can be a challenge. The church is enclosed within a security fence. The services is conducted in English language.

Beautiful church building inside and out. The Bible Study sessions on Sunday morning are very interactive, with realistic discussions while the service is straight forward and enjoyable. The clergy and church members are warm and welcoming.

My home church in Lagos for years and I have always loved it here. The hymns and the fellowship are great and so are the sermons.
