Totally loved the ambience of this space, it has a dreamy garden, and a well thought-out, warm, homey and welcoming feel.The food is amaze-balls, I will recommend their plantain croquettes. As someone who doesn’t fancy ripe plantains, it was surprisingly delightful - I had two more helpings 😉😉. Also had the Charcuterie board, tasteful selections of differing and complimentary flavors and textures. Service too was excellent, very present without hovering.If you need a great space to eat sumptuous food in the company of your family, friends, a date or even by yourself; think Zolene.

My first eat out post -lockdown! And I enjoyed every bit of time spent at Zolene. It is really the place to be. The location, ambience, music, staff courtesy, the food, and Tina’s (the owner) show of hospitality 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽. We had the grazing table and everything on there was well made. The desert was also one of the best I’ve had in a while (my waka was not in vain😁)Oh btw, there’s a garden too and it’s a really sweet spot for bomb photos. Very picturesque location, you need to see for yourself.

My first time here but definitely wont be my last time!!! What a lovely environment. Serene and awesome place to seat with friends. Also love the green area where you can actually play indoor games with friends. The food was actually delicious!!!! I actually tasted the different dishes my colleagues were having. It was an amazing experience and we all promised to come back.

The service was great. I had the pasta and the sauce was divine. The meatballs were very crispy on the outside and so juicy in the middle.

The dining experience brought back some memories because we got to play ludo and the whot was definitely enticing.The food took some time but it was definitely good. Just had to ask for it to be heated up a lil. The decor is simple and somewhat African, I guess this is because the menu is also African. I definitely will visit again

I liked the place. Quiet, clean and with a beautiful garden I wish I knew about before eating so I cld have had lunch outdoors instead. I wondered why the place was empty all through my meal and then I realized they have a very active Instagram page so I guess the day I visited was one of them slow days.I ordered for the platter meal which I shared with my friends and surprisingly it was quite filling. We actually struggled to finish it. I was a bit disappointed with some items on my plate. The chicken was great, the vegetables sauce awesome and the side sauce for the fries delicious. The gizzard and snail however was a bit too chewy for me and that was the bulk of the proteins on my plate.Id visit again tho, there are some other promising meals on the menu Id like to try.

Its a quite n nice place with an outdoor experience.However, the management needs to do something about the dam just outside the restaurant. The refuse being dumped there doesnt give the establishment a good image.

Our order was delivered at home. My family totally loved the meal. Tasty, delicious, we enjoyed everything. The mushroom sauce, Stroganoff was an absolute delight.

I had the most amazing experience. They have professional waiters, very tasty continental and intercontinental dishes and of course a very wonderful ambience. You can imagine a lot of activities you can engage in, with all the fancy corners in the restaurant and the garden.

Zolene is a very serene environment with efficient and friendly staff. Great menu list across various food types too. I particularly enjoyed my hand pounded yam with efo riro, a local delicacy that was really delicious. I saw a Charcuterie board also called a grazing tray for the first time at Zolene. The array of finger foods on it was sumptuous, I couldnt stop myself from trying every thing and I must say, I wasnt disappointed one bit.My children loved the plantain crocket, it was moist and very tasty.I will definitely go there again and again.

African, Beautiful, Homely, Exclusive

Exquisite, loved the food.

On the 1st of March20, we had a surprise birthday party for my wife here and overall I will say the experience was good. The quality of the Nigerian dishes was excellent, the waiters & service was very good and the the owners, Tina & her hubby, were on hand to ensure that the experience was worth it. I say a big thank you to Ralph, restaurant manager, for being very diligent and efficient.2 drawback though; the air conditioning system was not cold enough to cover the crowd of 40guest so it was a bit stuffy at some stage of the event. We came with our music on a stick and the sound output was poor.

The restaurant is in a very serene environment. there are game boards, ludos and quiet corners for reading.

I have visited Zolene a few times for business meals and just causal lunches. It’s Afrocentric flavors have a modern twist that makes each meal an exciting adventure. Met the owner a few times too. Very professional lady and very courteous. I would highly recommend.

My visit to Zolene was unplanned but when I arrived, I knew the universe had not mislead me in any particular way. The ambience was lovely and the staff were friendly. Zolene has lemon water.. I mean, a slice of lemon in your water. I dunno what that does to you but I think its cool. Meals are affordable and the ambience is divine.Zolene is a place to be.

Hung out at Zolene with a couple of friends last night! Lovely ambiance, awesome food, good music and fantastic host! The ribs were out of this world! The oxtail was great too. Lovely place for group hangouts.

One of the best meals I have had in a while. Customer service was excellent, the waiter literally sweeped me off my feet. Food took about 18 mins to get ready. I advise you order immediately you arrive.The Afang Soup came with so many obstacles such as dry fish, ok porpoise, kpomo, beef etc. The pounded yam was just so awesome I had to request for a bowl to make use of my hands to eat.The garden outside was breathless. Zolene has a serene environment with an African feel. I recommend for anytime.

It is my second time visiting Zolene. First was for a friends proposal and the other I recommended for a friends bridal shower. Their menu is pocket friendly and it has an ambience for a simple date night or an intimate celebration. Picture perfect if you are looking for a good spot for pictures.

Good hospitality......

Food was good, service too. No other customers came in while we were there which makes me wonder what theyre doing to try to get business. Also the lighting in there could be way better - its dark and poorly lit, not purposely dimly lit, just poorly lit. The gardens are beautiful though!

The pasta was great as well as the pasta sauce. Had well seasoned peppered goat meat with it. The wait was not much as the ambiance of the restaurant made up for the time. I would love to try some other dish next time.

Had a mini function there the other day and I was quite pleased with the ambience, service and the food.The place is a bit quiet so if you are looking for a more boisterous location you might want to look elsewhere.In any case I enjoyed the calmness and coziness of the place and am definitely Looking forward to going again.

The Zolene experience was amazing. The environment was serene, the service was excellent and ofcourse the food was delicious, every bite was so lip smacking, I couldn’t stop eating. I would recommend Zolene a thousand times over.

Zolene has become a home for me and my crew of 30. Every other last Saturday of the month, we are there sharing bowls of delicious African pesto. And I get my mortuary standard Guinness the way I crave it.. - 8 degrees. The staff are so friendly I know their names. I struggle to remember my own birth name.They never disappoint.

My first experience at Zolene was perfect, however the second was not and thats the only reason they get a three star! Food was uncooked and generally not just right. I guess it was one of those days. But on the bright side, they have a very good customer service , lovely menu, nice ambience and very reasonable prices. Its a great place for birthdays, showers and group dinning. They even have a lovely garden for outdoor dining lovers.

Great ambience. Decor is different and eclectic. The dessert was superb. Cant wait for zero carb meals for people like me. Will definitely visit again...

Everything took so long to reach us. Its almost as if they went to buy food stuff when we ordered. We waited three plus hours to get food! Probably not a good place for a large crowd. Food would have tasted better if it came faster.

An okay ambience. Not easy to locate. The service charge here is annoying. You get to pay 10% of the meal you ordered for service charge. I will never visit here again.

Zolene restaurant is a small cosy space, ideal for a quiet evening out with family. Quite warm, courteous staff and quite friendly, explaining the menu to a first timer. I had the fish broth aka pepper soup which was quite spicy and brought tears to my eyes. I dont like pepper!! The chicken wings was really delicious. My wife rated it 5/5. I definitely will visit Zolene again and again. You should too!

The place had an immediately relaxed effect on me, with a gentle ambience and pleasant presentation. The staff were polite, attentive and respectful. The food we had was generally of a good size portion and the meats were excellent quality, very tender and tasty. One dish, the peppered Snails side came out rather small, even for a side, so the recipient was rather disappointed, but by the end of the meal we were all having a fun time and full satisfied bellies.The major disappointment was the lack of wines we chose, each in turn not actually available until we got to the highest priced ones... so it was easier to move on to another place close by that specialises in good wines at reasonable prices.Overall a great experience, and would recommend this place to anyone who wants good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Check they have wine before you order food though!

Looking for a nice coded restaurant in Ikoyi? Zolene is the perfect place. Its a hangout place that is very secluded. The food is really nice and they have a wide range of options although it isnt ready-to-eat as they mostly prepare it fresh, so dont expect to get there and have your meal served in 5 mins, takes at least 20mins.They also have games and spots to Read books, can easily pass for a book club actually. Not popular for nite outs though, they close around 9 or 10PM.
