Havent been here in ages and to my surprise they still function and the food is consistent ( great taste and well flavored).Timing can be a bit slow because of the high inflow of customers, I believe they can improve on this. The space is nice, well lit, has a nice homely vibe to it. Prices are also fair and value for money.

This restaurant from the outside may not really look amazing and attractive, but the traditional dishes that are being served there will leave a sweet memory that youre not yet to forget soon.I would recommend foreigners that really would like to know how Nigerian local dishes taste like to visit this place because the are just the best in what they do ...❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️They are very welcoming there and approachable. Give it a try.❤️❤️👍👍👍

I was in Lagos for just a few hours between flights and decided to go get lunch. Someone pretty much swore on this place and I could 100% see why! The food was sooo good! And the service was great too. I’m from Abuja so I’m used to waiting for a long time just for my fries to come out cold, so I was pleasantly surprised to get fries that were actually hot and crispy that came out on time lol. Also the restaurant is so pretty and Instagrammable, especially the outdoor seating area. No complaints whatsoever.

Its a good place to hang out with friends. The space upstairs is currently not available so peeps get there and youre practically being rushed to eat and leave. Theres little space for parking but security is available to help. Their meals taste really good especially the swallow. The peppersoup is a no no😒 though. Its like 1 portion of a small fish that was divided into 5. Generally, its a good place for a meal.

Candle-colada!That’s what I called this interactive shot I took at Yellow Chilli on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Many know of their good food but only a few have ever tried the taste of their tremendous cocktails. Lit, to say the least. Now the secret is out under the light!

Yellow Chilli used to be my favorite lunch place before. They had authentic Nigerian food, full of flavor and at pocket-friendly prices. The meals would also be prepared after ordering so they’d get to the table steaming hot.But their portions have drastically reduced whilst the prices are going up. I never could finish the portions. Now, I can.

There are over 100 reasons to love Yello Chilli but Ill mention just 2 here.1. Quality of meals compared to the affordable pricing.2. They have one of the best spots for local dishes. I really havent tasted a better prepared sea food okro soup before.Okay, I said 2 but Ill add one more... the staff are highly courteous. Top notch service.

So I had dinner here with a friend. I like to be safe when i go to new places, so by default i asked for their special fried rice with prawn and some salad. It turns out they do not have any salad/vegetable servings. (According to the waiter) I found this rather odd for VI. But then, I didnt check the ratings to know what to expect. On a positive note. The rice tasted nice, so if you want a place to really fuel up on carbs, Yellow Chilli will do.

Had one of the best sea food okro and pounded yam 😁 Very cool restaurant to have Nigerian native soups. Take note it takes between 15-30mins to get your food served after you order. So if you are very very hungry you might have to consider that. But it’s worth the wait though.

Following rave recommendations by my colleagues I tried out their fried rice fiesta very recently and it was sorely disappointing. At over 5k a plate, the food was very basic and, in my opinion, not worth the hype nor the price. I honestly could not fathom what justified the price - the tasteless rice or the sprinkle of shrimps. Bleh.

I love Yellow Chili ( 27 Oju Olobun Cl, VI, Lagos). It has that upscale vibe you feel when one goes there. The staff are very attentive and friendly too. The bathrooms were clean with an AC on full blast which was quite funny to me.I had pounded yam with afang soup and beef. The soup tasted really good and was not too spicy. The slight setback was that the soup was not hot when served. I didnt fuss and enjoyed my meal with a chilled bottle of Origin :)

Visited with my colleagues for a small get together. I ordered for Isi Ewu and Jollof fiesta. The isi ewu portion was big and I had to share with my colleagues. When it comes to portions, you will get value for your money. The Isi-ewu tasted nice but was very sandy; guessed it was not washed properly before it was prepared. The Jollof fiesta was wow! for me. It tasted so good that I was sad when I finished eating it. Would have given 5stars but for the sand in the Isi ewu.I will definitely visit again. Yellow Chilli is cool.

I went to the VI branch. Its a cool place. Not crowded and decent parking space. Prices are not so expensive for restaurant in VI. My friend ate efo riro and pounded yam for about 3500 naira.
