Great place to host events and get together

I have been here and ordered food several times in the last five years.Food: This restaurant has the most variety of rice I have ever seen at a restaurant and they are pretty good at making them taste good. The swallow options on the other hand is meh. They open 24 hours everyday!Parking: Limited space, mostly occupied. I recently got my car almost towed away because I parked in front of the restaurant. The security man stepped in to stop the (whatever they are called) from towing my car away since I was just picking up food I ordered.Pricing: I think it’s good value for money if you’re getting the rice. I can’t say the same for the swallow.Service and space: Average. Delivery guy is often times busy delivering other people’s order so you may have to wait long.Overall: You may be at risk having your car towed away and paying hefty parking fines if you parked on the road side right in front of the restaurant. Perhaps that’s a good price to pay for the food?

Great place. Great food. Great music.I have been there over 50times I guess. At a time, I go there every Thursdays for Salsa 💃🏾. I met someone who was so kind enough to teach me basic salsa steps. This gave me the inspiration to enroll into beginners’ class and I’m not doing bad now (as you can see me in one of the dance videos 🙈).The restaurant is downstairs while the lounge/bar is upstairs. Have you tasted their food before?? Oh you should. Great food at affordable prices. Food is more expensive at the lounge upstairs so it’s better you eat downstairs before going up to the lounge to have fun.The lounge is a great place for relaxation, fun and to laugh and dance away your problems. You can also pull off a surprise proposal or Birthday party there. Polite service, beautiful place, delicious food

Bought food of #5700 and I was debited but their UBA POS machine declined my card..so I decided to make a transfer since I really wanted to eat and besides the supervisor guaranteed me that if I don’t get a refund in 24hrs I should just come back and he’ll pay me back...this is 3weeks now they still refused to refund me even after the bank confirmed transaction was successful.Is that how to treat a valid customer?

Dj is aiit but the Drinks Service is so not good, ordered for drinks for over an hour and it didnt come.

Lounge thirty 8 is located at bode thomas surulere opposite crib 7 and on the same street as shoprite surulere.Lounge 8 is spacious and offers a wide variety of sitting arrangements It also has a large screen for lovers of football. It holds its karaoke nights on Tuesdays for lovers of karaoke. They also serve tasty meals for lovers of good food. At lounge thirty8 you have the privilege of listening to melodious music. A good place for a team hangout. It stays open till late into the night.

The only reason I rated two star is because the food and pricing was awesome coupled with the fact that you can get food at 2 am!lets start from the manager at the food court, she is just a maniac (the P.O.S wasnt working and I had to make a transfer to the companys account. She wasnt around to confirm payment so I transferred the money to a staff because of the rush and Immediately she heard about it she flared not minding the incompetence started from them and the poor girl only wanted to secure the payment. Although, I understand it wasnt companys policy and all that but there are ways to go about it especially when you have customers around).The night club was so jam packed with rude girls throwing shades at you with every chance they got and lastly I dont think the hype man was necessary, we literally dance for only one minute before he cuts the DJ short.

Only a starter Nigerian does not know the difference between pounded yam and semolina (semo). I ordered four wraps of pounded and two plates of okro soup from their restaurant. They delivered 1 wrap of pounded yam and 3 wraps of semo. I called them back to complain and I requested replacement wraps.It only took them almost an hour to get the replacements to me (I live about five minutes away from them). Guess what they delivered (the second time)? Three more wraps of semo! I specifically asked if it was pounded yam this time, and of course, the delivery man said yes.What about the starving guests who specifically wanted pounded yam? No show. They have to find a replacement and palatable swallow! This is horrible service.Mind you, the goat meat in one of the plates of okro looked too scary to eat. Nothing looking like meat in there, except for the chopped pieces of meats. Meagre portions for extortionate prices. Isnt life beautiful?

The fast food downstairs was ok, the food was ok and the servers were fast in taking our orders. And we had a good time. But my only complain is the food wasnt hot enough.

The parking is quite limited but I was fortunate to get good parking.Theres a restaurant downstairs and then the bar/lounge upstairs. I liked the space, the staff are friendly and resourceful.Was here for my friends birthday and it was on a karaoke night - the karaoke was really fun even though I didnt sing because of my tone deafness. Didnt want to embarrass my family.The restroom was good and this is the first public space Ive been to that has a bidet.

One of the most popular lounges within the Surulere area. It has a bar and a mini club upstairs. Great cocktail and wine selection. Parking is a bit of a hassle. Youd need to locate a parking space by the roadside. Love the way they incorporated greenery in the aesthetics of the building. The meals taste really great too and the attendants are pretty polite.

Thursday nights are fun nights for Salsa lovers. The floor opens for Salsa by 8pm most of the times. They have very limited parking space in the building. However, there are available car parks few blocks away at affordable rates.

I had my birthday here and i really enjoyed my day with friends.All i did was take my Cake there and invite friends over at the restaurant downstairs.They played really good music while we made our orders. The staff were really courteous and happy to help and i felt so much at home.I am really grateful they allowed me celebrate this way. It enabled me save alot and at the same time have fun. I cannot forget in a hurry.The food is great and the ambience. Did i tell you they later switched to the football game because thats what the guys wanted? It was great!!!❤

Great place to loosen up

Thursday is the salsa dancing night here. They have many experienced bouncers , their food is quite tasty. There is a restaurant downstairs where people can buy food without entering the lounge upstairs. There is limited parking space though but people are allowed to park outside so it isnt an issue. The DJ is good . If you like night life , you will like this lounge.

This is a happening place... restaurant, bar, and night club. This is three in one. If you are looking for where to take a bite this is the right place. Great taste of local dishes and continental dishes are available 24hrs. For the bar there is ranges of wine, whisky and all sorts of alcohol to choose from. Available all day but busiest time is evening. The club is buzzing with great music that you may not afford to miss. The most happening time is from 10pm till dawn, most especially Friday night... This is where music, wine, food and women meet... For what so ever your choice May be you will have it here...

The dancehall & DJ was amazing although I didnt get the food I ordered and had to cancel. However, there was a lot of line dancing and salsa, I forgot about the food mishap. For a Thursday night, I had the best time.

Nice setting, restaurant downstairs and lounge/club upstairs. They usually have karaoke night on Monday and Tuesday from 6pm today about 11pm which is always nice. The interior and lightning is amazing. The food is quite affordable too.

One of the local guides said it all good food on the mainland at any given time .their native stew is rich ,jollof rice is always on point and sometimes when you crave yam and egg its also available only issue is parking

The lounge is a cosy spot for your karaoke. Its good for small gatherings with a terrace overlooking the neighborhood seeing night lights 🌃. The bar has all sorts of drinks from Cocktails to shots and even beer. Lets not forget the restaurant affordable meals. Overall a great bar to unwind after a busy day.

Oh I love the spaghetti here! This is the cheapest yet very quality within vicinity. you can get Very affordable meals here for as low as 100naira. They have an excellent mix of traditional and Continental dishes. Very cool and clean environment. Services are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended for anyone in Surulere searching for quality quick bite. Nice.

Lounge Thirty Eight is a perfect spot to unwind, targeted at a wide range of individual classes. They have a nice restaurant, a bar and even an open bar where you have a great view of a mini park and a good chance to see the neighbourhood.My personal attraction this place is the weekly salsa dance that attracts lovers of the art. Though I suck at dancing, watching dancers display their skills in a romantic fashion, while having a drink and listening to genre of music from across the Atlantic could only be the best way I end most of my Thursdays.

I liked how efficient the waiters were. They are usually closeby and quick to serve, which is a plus. Didnt like the DJ, he was almost terrible at his job, my friends and I had to make the most outta it.

Lounge 38 is located in bode Thomas surulere, I actually went there on a Monday for their karaoke Night show and I had a wonderful experience.. Should incase you wish to go for karaoke, I would advice that you get there before 7pm, choose your songs immediately and wait till its your turn to sing, the reason is that, everyone at that karaoke bar wants to sing, so if you come in late, your chances of singing might be slim... Aside that... Its a cozy place cool for hangouts and drinks with friends

It is a lounge in the heart of Surelere. The place is cozy and the air conditioners are very effective. They have a karaoke in place. The music is awesome. People go there to unwind. The view from the 1st floor is awesome.Visiting there is an experience you wont regret.

Waiters are courteous and theyve got a pretty broad selection of events for each day of the week. Karaoke is okay but needs a bit of work to be perfect.

I am just leaving lounge 38 all because a Male bouncer must search through my bag,order I open the bag and he searches through,simply fetch a female to search my bag,I dont know when yall will admit its wrong for a Male security to search through a ladies bag.I was asked to leave even after calling the care line for help .Poor service.
