ƊanMarina cemetery is one of two oldest cemeteries in Katsina, named after two local saints - Wali ƊanMarina (Muhammad ibn al-Sabbagh) and Wali ƊanMasani (Abu Abdullah, Muhammad ibn Masani) whose graves lay within them. Graves in the cemetery are arranged in no particular order, with no designation or due regard for passages, drainages and signages. All entrances to the cemetery are very narrow for purpose. The cemetery is obviously not well managed and not well maintained. Less than 5% of graves in the cemetery are marked.This is President Ummaru Musa Yaraduas resting place.
