Jumia has been my preferred shopping site for many years and it is lovely experience.I will always recommend them.

Its been a week since you said you will come and pick up this bad fridge you sold to me. I will not hear, you wont take it o. You wont force a bad fridge on me. This is definitely the last time I am getting an Electronics on Jumia.

3 Weeks ago, I placed order for Umigidi A7s, But Immediately after placing the order, decided to cancel it as I noticed they have more size of Umigidi. But because its on prepaid I was debited Immediately and the shipping process started. All my efforts to cancel it before it will be shipped to the venue I added proved abortive. It was later shipped and I keep trying contact the branch for them to know that I wont be coming for the pick up, but was unable to reach them. A week after that One of your rep called me and I narrated the whole thing to him adding that I havent even received back the money refund which they emailed me that it has been processed. He assured me that immediately after our conversation that the money will be processed without delay, He further asked if I needed another Product which I said yes but I would like it to be a bigger one that is more than the Umigidi A7s, he said okay that he will place the order for me from his end, which he later did, I think that was Wednesday last week.On Friday the phone was shipped though I wasnt around when it was brought, I retuned by evening time that Friday and received the phone and unfortunately it was the initial phone which is Umigidi A7s that was sent , Recall that the person that Called me started he will replaced the order with a brand of Umigidi that is above A7S . Now I have been calling and contacting you people through the website lend my complain Since that Friday night that I cant use this Umigidi A7s, instead I rather add more money and go for other Brand. But Early this morning one of your rude rep sorry to say called just to tell me that the phone isnt eligible for return. I still wish and plead that you respond in a to get me satisfied on this at least I have been a regular customer to Jumia. Thanks for your Understanding.

I have been shopping in Jumia since 2014 and I have enjoyed the service. However,I am having an experience that I am not happy about presently. I ordered an item with #385191865 and it was delivered on 23/11/2020. As I was using the item on 3/12/2020 the there was smokes from the engine and I quickly check on my orders page and discovered that the item is eligible for return till 8/12/2020. I tried to fill the return form online but could not get through then I sent mail to servicemall and was directed on how to go about it and I did it but the selections was problematic which made me to fill another form and I got a response and was given a ticket number 28733048. When I waited and did not get further response till 8th December, I called the customer service and I was directed to speak to an agent who promised to work on it but did not. I called again and I was told that something will be done. On 12th December I received a mail that the period for return is over and that I should contact the seller. Then I replied that the item was still returnable as at the time I filled the return form based on what I have on my orders page. When I did not get any response I sent another mail on 14th December and got an automatic response that I will be contacted within 48 hours. Till this moment, nobody contacted me. Honestly, I am tired.As I have indicated earlier that I have been patronizing Jumia since 2014 and been referring friends to your mall, honesty I am not sure of doing that anymore. This stress is too much. Please check your records and confirm what I am claiming. I felt contacting the corporate office will solve this problem.I was contacted by one of the staff of Jumia and was told that it was a misinformation and that 7 days have passed but I should contact the seller and the phone number of the seller was provided. Unfortunately, the seller was acting as if he was trying to do me a favor when I called and queried what I used the blender to grind. he told me yesterday that he will call me back but he did not. I called him this morning and he said I should call him back by 1pm today. I just called him and he said what he can do is that he will give me another one but I have to pay 50% of the cost. When I asked him about the warranty, he initially said that there is no warranty and when I called his attention to the fact that warranty was stated on the platform, he then said that even with warranty, I still have to pay for the repairs. Please, kindly sort out this issue. As it is, the seller Mr Jude does not sound as a gentleman and I do not know him and I dont think he is ready to sort out the problem. My issue is with Jumia. Kindly pick this item and sort the matter out with him .

My orders (JGLKI3453341956548 and JGLKI3453341956581) were fraudulently cancelled and the international shipping cost withheld by Jumia. HOW DO YOU let people ORDER items on jumia global, let them pay shipping cost, wait for the item to arrive Nigeria between 20-35 days, receive a mail from you with the intent to deliver their items, FAKE DELIVERY and then CANCEL the ORDERS and FRAUDULENTLY WITHHOLD SHIPPING COST. I have text messages, voice recordings and faked refund e-mail as evidence.Day 1 (Monday, 21/12/2020): You sent a message that my order would be delivered, I called the dispatch guy to arrange delivery. Later, delivery guy called to tell me to meet him up somewhere else, outside the delivery address (this is a package that a door-to-door shipping fee had been paid on). I refused to meet him up anywhere. He said he was already on his way to Lekki Phase 1 from Chevron and he will deliver them to me the next day. I suggested he delivered the items to a phase 1 address since he was heading there. He agreed and asked me to send the address via text. I did but he did not show up. That evening I got a failed delivery mail from you saying that one more attempt would be made the next day before you cancel my orders.Day 2 (Tuesday, 22/12/2020): I got to the shipping address by 10am and I called the dispatch guy. His number was switched off. I tried a few times after, but the number was still switched off. So, I called Lekki pick-up station to tell them about the problem. I was asked by the Lekki pick-up centre to send the order numbers. I texted the order numbers to them but nothing was done till I left around 6pm. Later that evening, I got a mail that the orders had been cancelled and I responded that they did not attempt delivery, so they should not cancel my orders after waiting for them for over 20 days.Day 3 (Wednesday, 23/12/2020): I called their jumia help line and I was passed around till I ran out of call credit. I headed to Lekki pick-up station on Admiralty to pick up the items myself and I was told they had closed for the year. END OF SURPRISE CHRISTMAS GIFT. I called their line and asked them to keep the item till January when they resume over a recorded message. 4 days after, they credited my Jumia pay with only the cost of the items and withheld the shipping cost.Are you claiming to have returned the items that took over 20 days to arrive Nigeria to the sellers in 4 days? There is no reason why you should not give your customers the option of picking up their items before you cancel international purchases that have been fully paid for. All of these happened in the space of 3 DAYS, HABA! My ASSUMPTION is that those items were not returned to the seller and someone will profit greatly from selling them locally after I have borne the shipping cost. If this assumption is not true, please investigate this matter and do the needful.

Aside the security personnel who are overdoing their job this place is a great place. There receptionist is pleasant and understand customer service relationship. There are two Jumia offices in this axis. This one also serve as vendors training centre every Tuesdays and Thursdays. They have young and vibrant staff members who understands their job roles

I placed an order on Jumia and pre-paid for the items. Only 1 of 2 was delivered with no mention of when I will get the other or even a refund. The invoice the delivery man presented had the two items clearly stated. I have tried to reach out to Jumia in every way possible but no response for the last 3 days. So I followed a vendor who had some things to do at the office. The headquarter is nice. The reception by the personnel was great they were quick to answer questions and put your mind at ease. I was also able to meet the persons in charge of responding to customer calls, it was an epic experience.

Jumia is the largest e-commerce company in Nigeria with Hubs strategically located in all-state in the federation. Their services are great and the delivery policy is well structured.I have been to some of there hubs which is well structured and organized to handle customer products demand. There return policy is alright, though sometimes it takes longer time to a adequate response from the jumia customer care support team.

You will think Jumia is great until you have issue with your order. I am in a mess now because of a huge order I placed in Jumia and they did not fulfill. The experience was great.. Was actually there for a training and it was interesting plus the atmosphere in and around the office is great. Get to know they offer their vendors product shoot for a fee at the jumia headquarter and also vendor training on Tuesday and Thursday.

True that shopping on Jumia is great until you have a problem. I have had an absolute nightmare trying to get an incomplete delivery issue resolved. What I have experienced so far is customer care agents giving false information and misleading customers, barely trained customer care agents who are not supported with resources to help the caller. All they offer is the generic ‘apologies for this Mr. XXX’. Not their fault for the most part, they are simply not equipped to do a good job. It is obvious to me that Jumia runs a very defective customer care model designed not to help the customer. I am still no wiser to knowing what has happened to my order after chasing them for four days.PS: To Jumia rep reading this, don’t bother responding to advise me to contact customer care because I have done that already and the process has been absolutely useless. You get 1 start because that is the absolute minimum to be a able to make a post.
