Place is not too crowded. You can enjoy your meal quietly. They sanitize every table after every customer. Food is nice! Not too expensive. I love their fried pork dumplings! They serve free peanuts too!

Awesome Chinese cuisine served hot and freshly made... Always get the steamed dumplings... The prices and portion are just too good to be true..... A must try for all 👍

I love love love the food, everything was delicious and quite affordable in comparison with other similar restaurants.Service was swift, staff was polite.The parking space is small though, might not take 20 cars.My favourite meal was the fish and dumplings. Their portions were larger then regular large portions or maybe it was just my love for the food that made everything seem large...lol.Ambience was normal, nothing extraordinary or exceptional.Ill go over and over again. Ive found a regular Chinese spot. Ill try more meals next time.

It was my first time visiting a Chinese restaurant and I really didn’t know what to expect. We placed order for the chinese fried rice and noodles. I thought the noodles would look like those in korean movies 😂 but na it didn’t.The food was great and the staff paid great attention to detail and were available to serve us all through.Would definitely try it out soon.Recommended for a Sunday family brunch, dinners, birthday etc

Their customer service is spot-on. From the Security guard to waiters, they were all kind and respectful. The soups were delivered on time but the main course wasn’t😑. The staff was kind enough to take pictures for us.Hats off to the chef, my food was amazing🤤, the portions are very generous and filling, oh lord!!I’ll definitely be dining here again.

Cozy, customer friendly, decor is nice, hot and damp sanitized napkins were a big plus. I have had the opportunity to eat here twice and at both times i had wonderful experiences.Food was well made, did not have to wait for so long to get our food, the portions are relatively okay for the prices.Ordered medium portions for two people and we couldn’t finish it.The leftover was packed up for us based on our request.One of the times I was there a couple who just got married had their wedding reception there with about 30 guests.I didn’t like the fact that the insect catcher wasn’t working the second time i went there and there was one housefly flying around.

This is a good place for dates, family lunch or dinner, so many delicious varities to offer. And yes! Budget friendly for a typical Chinese restaurant.The low was, there were flies flying around which could have been taken care of with electric insects killer or otherwise.

Poor customer service.All cups used to serve chapman where broken at the tip.The wait staff that attend to me was rude and reluctant to.Noodles was soggy, rice tasted bland.The ambiance is so dull.

Great food and service you do have to tell them to add the beef to their noodles because they said they minced the chicken but me I didn’t see it o Economy don hard for everyone. They make the best corn soup

Was there 4 years ago and it was top notch. Gast forward to July 2021, the special fried rice was mushy instead of grainy but squid, lamb and beef sauces were very tasty and customer care was s on point

First of all, hot, damp, sanitized napkins were provided for our hands (this was a big plus as babe and I were coming from a hospital and I was just talking about how we needed to wash our hands). Ambience is okay. Waiters were polite and patient.The food - the chapman is quite generous for the price. The meals were okay too - qty and taste-wise. We had a small plate of soup each and 4pcs spring rolls as starter, then a medium sized portion of fried rice with a medium sized portion of chicken sauce. We were more than filled up.

Sunrise offers reasonably priced chinese dishes with their newly improved menu with broccoli finally introduced.The nuts provided to wet the appetite while you wait for your selected meal to be prepared and presented is often tooo oily but fresh.Meals tasty and fresh always.

Fantastic Chinese meal and its so affordable

In Lagos there are plenty of Chinese restaurants, depending on your budget & location. Sunrise is a no frills restaurant. Its owned by a Chinese couple who have been running this restaurant for years. The decor is simple, with little touches of Chinese decor here & there. The waiting staff are great & friendly. The menu selection is varied, so they do cater for any tastes. Prices are reasonable & value for money. If you looking for a genuine Chinese restaurant at an affordable price, give Sunrise a try.

This is hands down the best Chinese cuisine on the mainland. Chinese owned and frequented by other natives, so you know its legit. The service time is super quick and their polite staff would have your food out in no time. The prices are also unbelievably reasonable (subjective) and you would find it hard getting such a great experience anywhere else. The only thing Id say could do with a little work is the ambience, but by the time you take the first bite, youd undoubtedly throw away all your aesthetic qualms and get lost in the food. Special Fried Rice & Shredded Beef is a good start if you arent sure of what to order. Happy Eating!

So I and my sales team at the office had lunch at Sunrice!It made sense because it was just enough for all 11 of us.We devoured the food.Their price is very fair and quite affordable!It is a good spot for hangouts and team bonding.

Location was well within the heart of upscale Ikeja neighborhood, getting in was quite easy., Parking space was ample for a weekday (Im not sure on a weekend or holiday, it would be enough though), neat surroundings.Getting in through the doors, youre ushered into the typical lagos-Chinese styled restaurant, large round tables for a party of 5 and smaller window tables for a party of 3. This threw me off because we were just 2! But thats ok, there were other tables occupied by 2 other couples.No to the service, it was just ok (I probably was expecting a lot as my partner had hyped the place), waiter was basically doing his job and nothing extra (no smiles or extra details about the menu).The rice with seafood was appropriately priced and within budget but it felt like part of it was slightly over cooked. I enjoyed the shrimp sauce and noodles in pork though.All in all, Id give the place a 3-star rating based on my personal experience.

I have visited here on many occasions and I always come away feeling good...They have a wide variety of options...Their chili chicken is one of my personal favourites.The servers are very attentive, smart and most importantly you dont wait too long for your meal to be ready!!!!

I went to Sunrise Chinese based on the good reviews the food got and I wasnt disappointed. The food was actually good. I highly recommend the spicy chicken wings: #fire.They however seriously need to work on the ambiance and look of the interior and if possible the space. I liked the part where the Chinese lady who part owns the place with her husband, approached a group of diners about their noise and children running all around the restaurant.Again, good Chinese food and at affordable (relative) prices. Ill definitely come again.

The meal was fantastic. Authentic Asian food. Very pleasant atmosphere - we didnt know time had passed by so quickly. I would definitely return. I didnt like the initial treatment by the waiter though - but I think its a Nigerian thing because hes Nigerian and he may have made assumptions because of my gender. He apologized later though.

It’s a little easy to miss it tho because it’s located in a very close area. Just look out for their sign poster that tell you if you’re close to the place. Sunrise is a lovely restaurant and the food tastes good. The place needs a bit of a face-lift though. Not much has changed since the first time I used the restaurant about 5+ years ago. Good value for money too.Will do well to sort your cravings for Chinese cuisine but if you want fancy fine dining, look elsewhere. Quick turnaround for takeaways too by the way, and you can call ahead to place your order.
