Mates Supermarket has a surprising amount of household, office, leisure and personal hygiene supplies packed into this very friendly neighbourhood store. They are reliable, friendly and helpful. Having operated on Adeniyi Jones for over 25 years consistently, they are a one-stop shop for everything. Great store!

One of the first, If not the first Mini mart ever built on Adeniyi Jones Avenue located just at the HACO junction/ bus stop. Wheel chair accessible parking is present. Parking can get a bit hairy at times since the shop is located at a major road intersection. But parking attendants are present and always seem to be on top of their game in this respect. The entrance too is wheel chair accessible. What really impressed me was the wide variety of items they had ranging from foodstuffs to various household accessories under one small roof. Heck, I managed to get an adjustable pipe wrench here. I even noticed they had a rivet gun/applicator. One hardly sees handyman tools in such a small store. They also have loads of gift items for weddings, so this would be an ideal place to visit for such as their are a number of event /wedding venues in the near vicinity. Their prices are surprisingly very reasonable. Cordial/helpful staff are ever present. The accept Cash, Debit /Credit cards and there is an Access bank Atm opposite the store . A mini book store is also located within the premises where one can source for stationery for both the office as well as hobby activities.All in all, a goto store if around the Ogba-Adeniyi Jones-Allen Avenue axis.Thank you, Mate supermarket for having been there through all the years.Well done!

A nice neighbourhood store where you would get almost all basic groceries. Available options may not be broad, however, the store serves its purpose of near and accessible store with little or no hassles while shopping or at the checkout counter.

Mate has been there for over 30years, always well stocked and friendly staff, popped in after 5years away and everyone still as friendly and helpful.

Mate supermarket is a nice place to shop for every day items but if youre looking for that special item be it your favorite spice, tea, etc which you cant seem to find anywhere else then you cant go wrong calling at Mate. They tend to stock those special uncommon but in demand products.

Nice super Mart that has pass the test of time

Mates as I have come to know it is your ideal super mart to shop for all your family needs. It caters to the needs of a wide variety of people and colours, including a good number of expatriates. it has a book and stationery arm for those interested in knowledge and office related items.I have known the place since 1992 and the service has always been great. Warm people.

They still have most necessities in stock during this lockdown. They now enforce washing of hands and sanitiser use before going in.

Its really a nice place and they have good human relationship over there, how to manage their customers.

Prices are very affordable, and they stock a variety of products from food to households items. Only snag for me is they close pretty early...say like 6 or there about perhaps because of security and their location.

Its a supermarket and a stationary store in one.the supermarket is to the left and they sell some shoes and belts too. You might find something you should see in a mall there. The stationary store is on the right. And they also do printing. There is a drycleaner outlet on the left also. But its before the Supermarket.

This supermarket is unmissable and right at the junction of Ladipo Oluwole street opposite Diamond bank on Adeniyi Jones. You can get most things here if you would rather not go to a shoprite or any other major mall. The quality of products is good and the customer service is even better. Very well cultured/mannered individuals. God fearing too.

Just moved to the area and it has been my saving grace. They sell nearly everything you need in a house, short of furniture and major appliances.
