Orlu Junction Ihiala is located along Onitsha Owerri expressway by Total services station Ihiala, opposite MK Oil and gas filling station Ihiala, Ihiala local government area. Its the road that leads directly to Orlu in Imo state, it cut across many other communities and town to Orlu, and goes through to Okigwe town. Its a federal road. Its busy because it leads to several other towns and communities.

Orlu junction in Ihiala is a very busy place and is one of the major landmarks in Ihiala town. As the name implies, it is the Ihialas starting point of the road leading straight to Orlu town in Imo State.The junction is a cross-road that sees Onitsha - Owerri on a straight road, while connecting Orlu on the other hand. The forth connection is a local road named NITEL road - that leads to other villages in Ihiala.At this junction is a very popular petroleum filling station owned by TOTAL. Also, Ihiala main market is by this same junction on Orlu road.There are many local shops around selling all sorts. There are banks around too.
