This department offers a general mechanical engineering programme in the undergraduate level. This means the programme covers the core mechanical engineering courses along with some courses in some areas of specialisation. Full specialisation is offered at the postgraduate level.The department has some outstanding faculty members and a lot of equipment. There is room for improvement in terms of the utilisation and maintenance of these equipment though.
