New building for the Faculty of Environmental Design and Management, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.The Faculty of Environmental Design and Management was established in 1982. Prior to 1982, there was the Department of Estate Management in the Faculty of Technology. This Department expanded in October 1977 to include academic programmes and specializations in Architecture, Building, Quantity Surveying and Urban and Regional Planning. The units eventually became discrete Departments in 1982 when the Faculty was formally founded. The Department of Fine and applied Arts was added to the five Departments in 1990.
