I love how large of a space they have, itβs broken into different section and Trudy have their own vibes so you donβt need to worry about space constraint going with a large crowd. The wait staff were attentive and even tho they had a shift change in the middle of our dinner, the orders werenβt mixed up so kudos to that. The meals werenβt all that tasty so that needs to be worked on. So far, this is a nice option for fine dining as Ibadan is lacking in that.
Tamberma is a fantastic restaurant for the ultimate culinary experience. With a team of friendly and responsive staff, serene environment, and a host of dishes ranging from Nigerian, to Continental, and from Indian, to Chinese food, they absolutely have you covered.I had an awesome time there, and Im sure you will, too.
A beautiful lounge with a welcoming ambience. Tamberna has an exquisite live band to help you loosen up and soak yourself in the melodic chime of the instruments and the lyrics sung by the vocalist. It is a serene location characterized by great food including pizza, finger foods and awesome alcoholic beverages. Tamberma has affordable cocktails and mocktails to help set your day/night on the right path.
Good food. Great service. Refreshing environment. Oh, The life Band is TOPS! Lady Vocalist is very good. Enjoyed food, music and great company. I recommend.
The environment is nice and quiet. The meals are great but the Flies hovering round was just a turn off. Also the waiters are still learning, they need training. I would rate the customer service 2/10. I had to pay for three meals instead of two just because of the waiters errors. Waiting time for the meals took 45mins. When it comes to tasty Indian cuisine they are the best in Ibadan
Beautiful ambience. Had nice African Decor. Different kinds of cuisine ans the Karaoke was great entertainment. The chicken wings were just divine.
After all the hype, I just had to visit. The place wasnt all that in my opinion. The prices were somewhat on the high-side but their service was really good. There was a man acting as some sort of coordinator making sure that everyone was attended to. The food was good, at least I enjoyed my grilled prawns while my date ate all of my chips and ketchup while saying how good it was
Great ambience..location is also perfect as it away from the noisy part of town.. foods and snacks are freshly served..enough staff,so you dont have to wait for long to be attended to..artistically alluring...however, one is not allowed in the other part of the restaurant till 6pm..transfers arent allowed except POS or cash.
Prior to this visit, I had heard comments about this place. Its too expensive, its weird. So heres my Thought.Put this in mind, When you hear Tamberma just have Afrocentric in mind, you will understand their space better.REVIEWIt was hard to choose my favorite dish but Ill say this, The lamb sauce in hot plate is one of the best Ive tasted so far(and trust me i have had a few), it has the perfect consistency, tasty and the lamb was tender. I love the Prawn in the chilli sauce but I didnt feel the chilli sauce like that. I also had the salmon fish in chilli sauce and all I can say is OmoΓ1000The grilled lamb chops IS A MUST TRY even though I would have preferred it to be more juicy but I love that it was well marinated.Pizza.Finding places in ibadan with tasty and good pizza options is extreme sport but theyve managed to pull that off.The spicy suya pizza was extremely delicious, the crust was thin but still sat well and was filling. I had to try out both the beef and chicken suya (just because I couldnt make up my mind.)ADVICE:You have to hold money well if you dont want to wash plates and mop the floor,Jokes apart their food here does not come cheap, coupled with the fact that you have to pay 10% and 7.5% as services charges and VAT respectively after paying for your meal(even though i feel some kind of way about the 17.5% extra). But above all they have a nice ambience and a real afrocentric space for pictures. In essence all Im trying to say is I APPROVEWHAT I HADπ³Strawberry Daiquiri- 2000Tropical- 2000Lamb in Hot Plate. Top notch hospitality and great meals.. Lovely ambiance as well, the back sitting area was bushy and not well trimmed for me tho
This place was extremely lovely. It has a serene ambiance. They have an Indian,Chinese and Nigeria menu. They also have a lovely drinks menu. I had the seafood rice and it was exquisite, only that my dish had a little bit of garlic. I had the Tamberma special mocktail,it was delicious. My friends had jollof rice, grilled catfish and chips, beer, wine and Chapman. Their service was great too. Its a cool spot.
Located at Iyagunku, Ibadan, Tamberma is a nice place to hangout. Food tastes good and theres karaoke on Thursday nights!
Want to Dine and Wine in an environment with clean air and an ambiance of natural sceneryβ¦try this place out
Nice place, okay setup and good food. Prices are not outrageous. You would want to try their grilled fish with chips; for someone like me whos not a fan of fish, I think their grilled fish is amazing. A weeny bit spicy, but it comes with salad to help cool it down.Just pray you dont sit at a table where the flies love to play...
Serene environment.Very good location to relax and merry.Impressive space design. The dishes are superb. Top rating from me
Lovely place. Good customer service. The food and cocktails are amazing. Their pizza too is mwah, fantastique. Everything you see on the menu, they most likely have it. Theres karaoke on Thursdays if youre looking for something fun to do.The food takes a little while before it comes though.
First of all, we sat for 30 minutes and no one attended to us or took our order. My friend already askes us to leave but i dont give up easily. We later called an attendant that was passing by because they were all busy. He called someone to attend to us she disappeared for a while again. It took about 1hr before we were served.Overall, the place is okay, nothing extraordinary.. . There is a parking space inside but the security told us to park outside without confirming if there was no space. . The food looked great but tasted just okay. The chicken i got looked all fatty but my friend ordered for peppered beef and fries. Total amount spent was about 12,800 dor just two of us.Overall rating is 3. I might go there again
I enjoyed their blueberry cheese cake smoothie the most. It was so yummy. Their chicken curry sauce too... Yum I will visit again.
The best restaurant i have ever been to, their food and drinks are not from this world. It make too much sense, very yummy. You would end up finishing the food even if it appears its much at first. We were given a bag and soap to celebrate their first year anniversary. If you are in IB, dont trade this location for somewhere else
This is my second time of visiting Tamberma. The first time, I was taken by the whole of it. Its beauty, serenity, the backyard with its eccentricity and uniqueness drew me in.I loved especially how the father of the owner came to ask us if we were enjoying our time here and suggested we go to visit the backyard. What was in the backyard? We were curious and our curiosity was well served as we saw a different kind of beauty. Furnishings made out of Bamboo made the place stand out and theres nothing like the VIP section. You can eat anywhere.I was with friends my first time, but this time I came alone. And these two times, Ive enjoyed it.
The new best place in Ibadan. Very serene and exciting environment at the same time. Also very traditional in the table settings, bamboo roofs and all that. Ankara table cloth with Matt underlay. Indian cousin, Chinese cousin. All in one restaurant. Very cool cool background music with a saxophonist playing softly. I love this place men
Tamberma restaurant and bar is located somewhere at Iyanganku Ibadan.Easy to navigate, good road network, sign posts are quite bold, affirming the right route.Tamberma is a mix of cultural heritage and civilization.Art works are bold and lovely, perfect lighting, appropriate floor.Good for children, teenagers, adults even aged.COVID19 precautions are strictly followed without ambiguity - do it your self. The environment feels homely - cool music, fresh air, flower pots and wooden furniture...The food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!I ate chicken biryani for the first time and it was delicious. I also ordered a cocktail and an (Indian soup) with fried noodles as appetizer - it did wet my appetite... Indian cuisine, chinese cuisine, even Nigerian cuisines are all available. Meals are freshly prepared and served by courteous waitresses. The garden behind the restaurant hall is chillingTamberma gives perfect environment to enjoy solitude accompanied with good food. Not too privy, still.
Food is great and worth the price. Service is very lovely.Scenery is antique and feels mostly natural and nostalgic.Great experience, I recommend.
Tamberma is a gem of a place, and you get a sense that the owners have put a lot in to it. They been deliberate in the impressions they want patrons to have when they visit and after they leave. Its a setup thats out to make a mark on the local dining scene and theres no doubt that it also has its eyes on the fledgling tourist market. So its a huge plus that it is located in Ibadan, the historic and highly cultural university city.I learned that Its just under a year old (some parts of it -- like the proposed art gallery) are still under construction), but once word of it spread, I see it becoming the go-to restaurant in town. Its menu includes local, chinese and indian dishes. There is a pizza section and (if Im not mistaken) theres soon to be ice-cream and a variety of snacks on the list of offerings.People are going to come here for reasons more than cuisine -- they will flock the compound because of its impressive decor thats very heavy on indigenous items/objects --earthenware pots, local fabrics, and household-type furniture.I particularly loved that the owners have reused some of the trees felled in the course of building to accentuate the overall outlook of the outdoor bar area.Tambermas owners are Indians who have lived in Nigerias southwest for the better part of three decades. They understand the local culture and its nuances and are happy and proud to promote it, which is a plus in itselfOn the day of my visit, the management and staff were preparing to host a buffet lunch. I was in transit. Sad I couldnt wait to see the ambience with diners settle in to what I imagine would be a sweet experience.Oh, and just in case youre wondering: the name is taken from a community in northern Togo.
I love the African setting. Awesome experience.
Lovely and serene environment. It is quite spacious and well ventilated. We ordered Chinese and it was ready in under 45 mins. They have a wide array of meals to select from, Nigerian, Chinese, Indian. The servers were neat and they understood the menu. Ill definitely visit again.
Their food is amazing and their PR and waitress works diligently β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Taberma is a really lovely place especially in the evening.its caters to Africans, Indians, Chinese and general continental dishes. The environment is quite serene, lovely place for a family dinner or to just treat yourself to something new. The food I had was quite good first time, I can rate the food maybe after my 3rd time. Service was excellent, they should fix their POS tho, and the flying insects around could be annoying too. But overall nice experience
There are too many house flies. The staff were not very hospitable. I am a bit confused as to the vibe that they were going for because I expected an Indian restaurant but I saw adire fabric as the table cloth and the vibe was very NOT Indian. The chapman was Smoove and the tequila sunrise was very flat for me. The pepper soup had no pepper in it and the BBQ fish was burnt and poorly seasoned. All in all, I will not be visiting there again, but it is worth a try for photos if you are about that life.
A place you will remember the rich traditional face and setting. A cool place to visit with your family and guestYou will love to visit again and again
A serene outdoor restaurant where you can enjoy a night out.
Very classy. Delicious meal
It was a beautiful experience. Its a beautiful place to be, looking forward to go there again. The environment is so cool and calm.
I went with my family and friends (about 20 of us) and we were served cold food π. The ambience is however nice πbut, the mocktails in my opinion are over priced for the qualityπ. Except the strawberry daiquiri π. The pinacolada was really bad, very watery πFor the food, the special fried rice wasnt too tastyπ but the noodles very tasty and very well cooked π. The shrimp and chicken sauce π. The fish in chilli sauce was a bit too salty for me π (my mum liked it though). The spring rolls were too crunchy π taste however was π, presentation wasnt dope. Sweet corn soup wasnt so good nor bad ( well I have had better). Seafood creamy soup π. The crispy deep fried chicken was πππ(I want my money back)The pizzas were really good.π
Tasty and delicious Indian food...with bar
I am becoming a regular at Tamberma, I am taking everything on their Chinese menu one after the other, so far its been a good experience. They all were well cooked. Their mocktails still seem bland to me, I stick to water or branded drinks Im familiar with.Their grills so far has been good too.But the Indian menu is what my taste buds are in total disagreement with. I cant eat it. So Im sticking to the Chinese and grill for now.
Awesome ambience. Prices are fair. The menu is diverse and food arrives within the hour.
One of the best places to get continental dishes and mocktails in Ibadan
A very good place to go on a date. Quite serene and exquisite. π
Great ambience, very tasty food, I loved the music. Its a very beautiful place with good customer service.
They have the best pizza in town.Your taste buds would thank youπ€©
Best restaurant Ive been to in Ibadan. The most served here is Jollof Rice.Ill suggest getting started with their Chapman and ordering pizza on your way out.
If I could give stars in minus then thats what I would do.Their service was really poor, I went there with a companion and sat down for over 45 mins and nobody attended to us. Even after trying to get the attention of several of their workers, the only one that deigned it fit to respond to us was utterly rude and we were still not attended to. We left there without being attended to and thereby wasting much of our time.
Its a cool place to hang out with your family, on dates, with friends etc. Good selection of Nigerian and International cuisine.Africa themed environment.Recommended
Was an awesome experience. My fiance and I had a wonderful time. The meal was lovely even though we had to wait a while before we could get it but it was worth the wait. The live band were totally on point. The environment and ambiance is top notch
Easily one of the most classy places Iβve been to in Ibadan. One thing that stood out for me was the Afro centric theme the restaurant has.Another is their robust menu and literally almost everything on the menu is available.Their waiters/waitresses are very courteous as well and they wait on you for anything you need. For wait time, I canβt remember how long it took, I know the day I was there the main meal and the starter arrived at the same time.ππThe pizza! Oh the pizza! One of the bests Iβve had! Tasted really good and was so cheesy.Cheap or expensive is quite relative, but Iβll say if you plan eating good for one, the least you should have is 10,000.There is also a bar section and a VIP lounge they are working on soon.If you are in Ibadan, you should visit.
Its like they serve almost all dishes in the world, very great restaurant! If you have money, youll enjoy yourself to the fullest! There are enough members of staff there with great customer service!
Its a really cool hangout for the family and yes, their pizza is currently one of the best if not the best in Ibadan. Its relatively affordable for a budget hangout and I like the theme. Interestingly, the owner I guess is a really cool and family friendly
One of the best restaurants in Ibadan offering variety of dishes.. definitely a recommendation...try their pizza too
Nice and cool environment. Top notch customer service, tasty and yummy foods.I was there today with family friends and after all rendered, a chocolate cup with cakes were given as complimentary for Fathers day celebration at zero cost.
Lovely atmosphere, great ambience. I loved the way you could see the chefs preparing meals from the kitchen. Pocket friendly as well. The chairs are a bit heavy tho.
Very nice and cool ambience. The staffs are well trained and helpful.
It is a lovely place with delicious meals at a super super affordable price. This is the place to be for your Indian, Chinese and African cuisines. The Pizza is sooooooo delicious.
Singaporean Stir fry was awesome with the shrimp spicy sauce... Very cool place.Need to put a signage that shows its location
One of the best fine dining restaurant and bar in Ibadan. The restaurant is in a very secured environment in Iyanganku GRA. Their services is very lovely and their staffs polite and courteous. They play low tone life band with a saxophonist which adds as lot of beauty and color to the music. Always a delight whenever I visit this place
This place is woooow. Classy and rich meals
Had the suya pizza and it was really nice... Only challenge is we had to wait for about 35 minutes for it to be ready.Overall structure is good..gives you a Tamberma feeling!
Serene environment, for calm and matured souls, with different activities for each day and not too expensive products and services
A very beautiful place. I enjoyed every time of my stay there. Very good food. The ambiance was very well placed. Oh lawd, the live band, i almost stood on the table to dance. They were superb π. My overall experience was very good. Im definitely coming back whenever Im in ibadan again.
It was an amazing time out with my friends. A serene environment, nice dishes too. Recommended!
Amazing place to spend a great time with friends, family or business partners.Their meals are really nice.
Fantastic family restaurant! I enjoyed my stay.Food was great too.
If you like Outdoor eating experience, no air conditioned sitting area. Good indian cuisine. I had Chicken Masala and Naan bread, it was good. More than enough for 1 person. The waitress Favour was such a darling too. Had issues only with the ice for my drink, had dirt in it
Great ambience, fantastic cuisine, excellent service and very pleasant staff. I recommend the restaurant & bar highly.
I loved it. Particular the live music, the partitioned sections for privacy for different number of guests, the open space and the tons of plants. Its beautiful.
Ok so I had an evening outing and I was mesmerised by the beauty of the outdoor setting. The live band was second to none. The food was sizzling hot which is the custom for Chinese foods. I was particularly impressed by the spring rolls which had different flavour, I loved the spring roll filled with Mayonnaise.I think they need to work on their delivery option.
Their food is so nice. Service is topnotch. Will definitely visit again.
A cool and flora environment. So unique and in a very quiet environment
Omg the pizza was amazing!!!! Everything seemed fresh and it was soo tasty. It was a little small for the price but its totally worth it!!!
Excellent place π
Excellent place for Indian food. Chicken pahadi kebab was awsm. Just melted on the mouth. A must must try. Enjoy
Ambience was fine and food was served in large portions. The main problem were the files. Good grief, those flies gave me hell. They need to clean and spray the tables.
Awesome.
Lovely place. The aesthetics are lovely and the food is great. Theres also karaoke
Great ambience, lovely environment. Great food..try their tika masala; its delicious. Loved it!!
