Brighton experience was just okay. I expected better though based on the pricing and structure. Firstly, it is situated at a very good location with parking space, lighting is good. The rooms are well and fully air conditioned. I was lodged in the Kings suite. The suite was very spacious and well designed but just like many establishments, its in need of proper cleaning and improvements, for instance, the fridge wasnt working, the heater was bad, the mirrors werent cleaned, the plumbing works need rehabilitation. Besides that, it was okay there. The staff may as well benefit from some training. Because I just cant understand why there were drums and so much loud singing in the dining hall during the expensive breakfast I was trying to have with my family all in the name of morning devotion. By the way, the dining table arrangement is lovely, but I was served cold food and they couldnt microwave.

Theres plenty of room for Improvement . The air-conditioning was okay but the room I stayed in was quite messy . Bathroom lacked a shower curtain and I didnt have a waste bin .

It is a nice hotel with great rooms. The staff are friendly, great facility and fairly maintained. It is a good hotel to stay for a quick visit to Ibadan or if having an occasion around that axis. It is also a place you can visit if you just want to have some quick fun with respect to partying and grooving, seems the hotel management has a thing for bars.🌝

The reception was beautiful, its a place I will love to visit anytime I go back to Ibadan.

Nice place at a budget cost. However the place is yearning for some maintenance. I took some pictures from my room showing Ibadan in a typical morning with some harmattan haze and also showing the extension where the swimming pool is housed.

So many things were not just right with the hotel.First, theres no water heater in the hotel; so if you go when the weather is cold, youre on your own.Secondly, the TV in the room I slept wasnt it at all. The room 212 TV wasnt clear at all. Also displaying as if thunder was striking it continuously.Thirdly, light was just fluctuatingFourthly, there was no AC remote in the rooms hence you cant control the temperature in the room. Youre destined to be switching the AC on and off from the wall socket.One more bad thing - the bathroom. They only placed one towel in the bathroom (while knowing the room was booked for two); the bath tub has no shower curtain, hence as youre having your bath, water will be splashing on the floor of the bathroom (that is, outside the tub).Good stuff about the hotel was it aint that expensive. They deliver food timely though (even though there aint no meal menu in the room) and the rooms were relatively big.

They have pool but not a standard pool...they have a nice bar...they play music in a reduced volume. You can visit. They have nice rooms too..

I spent two nights at Brighton in preparation for my wedding. The price range if their rooms was N10,500 - 18,000 but I took the rooms for N12, 500. The rooms were very Kempt and tidy with adequate facilities (AC, running water hot/cold etc.) My payment covered breakfast (complimentary) and their staff/attendants were very hospitable. I also had some nice photographic shots at the hotel because of its fine and serene environment. They have swimming pool and two good bars.

With the kind of property they have - I expected much more. Room was passable Royal...... followed by the bathroom where nothing worked tub broken & water leaking on to the bathroom floor. Room Service was poor....despite giving the order the previous evening.....still had to wait for 45mins to get the bfast ordered in piece meal.☹️

Quiet rooms. Not a high traffic location. Some of the room packages include a complimentary breakfast.

This place is a very conducive hotel with a clean environment and quality services from the staff. I highly recommend this hotel for those traveling to the ancient city of Ibadan

I stayed in the hotels room 101 for 13days (Dec 18 - Dec 31 2018) during my trip to Ibadan. I came in healthy but checked out with serious malaria infection.The hotel is situated in a good location and it is easy to locate. The staffs right from security to the hotel manager (Joy) are very accommodating. The room (Super Deluxe) is large and averagely equipped. There is constant electricity supply with the support of stand-by generator. The room service clean the room daily.However, some of facilities in the hotel are not in good states due to lack of proper maintenance.- The furniture is falling apart.- Toilet fixture/fitting (Shower) is leaking.- Wash-hand basing tap (valve) is not closing and leaking water.- The kitchen lack keeping to time. Most of time I left the hotel for my business without breakfast. I had pre-informed the resturant about my time.- Complementary bottle of water was skipped many times because someone noticed I had purchased pack of water.- Room was not properly fumigated and with many water leaking, the was room for mosquitoes to breed.- Capacity of air-condition (A/C) in the room is not adequate for the size, mosquitoes survive in its lowest temperature.The manager promised to change the room when I made report, but this could not come to reality until 2days to my departure. I rejected the room 102 offered, because A/C was not cold enough, the deed (malaria infection) has been done and too late for that.Finally, the hotel owner has invested a lot but lack of maintenance is a major problem. The outlook is beautiful but rooms are not in compare to the look.

Brighton is a 3 star hotel and a cool place to stay, i stayed in super deluxe room during my stay and the room is good, the ambience is nice, they have good staff and treat thier guest nicely. The hotel manager takes good care of the hotel..thier food taste good but a little expensive. I enjoyed the 4days i spent there and would love to stay there anytime i go to ibadan..thier room is affordable from 10,000naira -50,000. the room comes with complementary breakfast.

I would give this a 4. For a place like Ibadan, and after having tried others with much better rating on jumia, google, this place is truly a diamond in the rough. Hidden gem. Id almost give a 5 when I think about its overall value. Pricing unbeatable.Pros: Neat rooms, relatively safe-feel inside hotel, guaranteed power, internet, incredibly helpful staff. Great food, pool. Very comfortable rooms. Nice tasteful decor.Cons: I personally didnt feel completely relaxed. Its hard to be relaxed ANYWHERE in Ibadan if you are a known foreigner, given all the rumors of kidnaping, and wondering who looks like an informant for ransom. The surrounding location also did not have a GRA feel. More like Oke-Ado street feel.
