Tedder hall is a hall built to provide accommodation to male undergraduate students of the university. The hall is beautifully decorated with flowers. It has a basketball court and its home to the most popular cafeteria in the university. There are also some other indoor sport facilities. The rooms in this hall are numbered from the top to the bottom. Rooms make up blocks and there are about 4 blocks. The rooms would comfortably accommodate 1 or 2 people but 4 persons may be allocated to it( thanks to overcrowding in schools). I stayed on the ground then, it had about four toilets and four bathrooms which is really inadequate. Last thing is that the porters ( turned police) monitor your every move and would levy you a fine at the slightest opportunity. Its more like an advanced secondary school hostel. A plus they are connected to the central admin power circuit so power supply( electrical power) isnt a problem in this part of the university.

Named after Lord Tedder (1890-1976) , a Marshal of the Royal Air force and once a Chancellor of Cambridge University who originally opened the present site of the University of Ibadan on 17 November, 1952. When the hall of residence was also formally opened. It has a capacity of 390 students. I stayed in D block for a while and it was a very nice experience. The best living experience Ive had in the University, with running taps and showers even up to the last floor. Let it be known that Tedder halls D block is the cleanest and most condusive for living in the University of Ibadan.

Tedder Hall is an undergraduate student residency hall in ui. It Is far from exquisite but is manageable for Student. Since it is Within one of the busiest portions of the campus power supply is OK but is hardly ever available for more than 18hours a day. Water is constant as longs as there is power, a room supports a Max of three people. By my standards the room shouldnt be for more than 2 people but it is what it is. The hall has an fairly decent cafeteria it also has a restaurant but this restaurant is not entirely qualified to be restaurant. The Hall is very easy to locate from the gate. The cafeteria food is okay and its the most visited the entire campus.
