My first time here was in 2018 and it was such a cool place. Shortly after the visit, a got a job as the hover board instructor and I some times worked in the paint ball section and cared for the horses on rare occasions. Its a place to have real fun and its very affordable. Its great for picnics too. People hold their weddings and birthdays there since just a tent and few decorations is required. The most fun thing to do there in my opinion is paintball followed by riding the hover boards. There is swimming pool too which has a small tennis court by its side and a peacock that roams there. There is also a zoo that is not well taken care of just few animals are available and they need attention. There used to be boat riding but the waterways are blocked. Shows and concerts are held there and celebrities get invited especially during December. Its also perfect for photoshoots. During Christmas period, its usually busy with new games and fun activities that disappear after the season. Ill definitely recommend.

This place was one of my best recreation center in years gone by. Seeing it in the position it is now shows that the focus of the park has changed from conservation of wildlife and their habitat to full recreation activities which has resulted in deforestation of the garden.There is need for quick intervention and that the wildlife be brought back and taken care of.

There is not over hyping about the place, its cool to have fun and meet more people, you can plan your family or friends hangout using this location, zoological garden is also available to see different animals on ground. Very suitable for hangout, fun time, chilling and relaxation, swimming pool side also... Youll have a nice time here.

Agodi Gardens is a very cool place to unwind individually or as a Group organizing Picnic. Its best to go with Mats and drinks+food. There are Restaurants and Bars including Club, swimming pool and different games as side attractions. Agodi Garden is a stone throw to Oyo State Secretariat, Ibadan. It used to have a Zoo but not anymore.

If you are looking for a place to visit in Ibadan they is full of nature, Agodi is a place to be.The environment is beautiful, very lively and full of life.Though the zoo is no more functioning, hut you will enjoy the horse ride is a great experience.The restaurant there were great and is a place to visit.There pool is a nice place to visit, because of it beauty for both children and adults.

The park is alluring, maintenance is quite high. Its a lovely place to relax, have picnics and birthday parties(I think with the acknowledgement of the management). Foods and drinks are very affordable (almost the same price as outside of the park). You get to pay 500naira to have access to the pool. Theres also the option of horse riding and bicycle riding too.

Lovely park with grounds to walk on and have picnics on. They sell a delightful palm wine thats nice and sweet and the suya man came right up to us and advertised his ware. Just lovely place

Nice place to go have time out with your family and friends. The canopy trees are amazing and are of different types. Games like horse riding, swimming, bird watching are available. Theres are bars too.

Very interesting park and garden to visit very often. Fill of green and good land scape, few animals like crocodiles, monkeys and birds in the zoo.Amazing swimming pools that accommodate large numbers of people at the same. Also theres bar and lounge in the park. Please try a visit and you are hooked!

The Agodi Botanical Gardens is a fantastic place to go in Ibadan especially for a cool breeze or to stretch your legs.Its located in a serene environment and is nice for having picnics. I used to love the picnics here as a kid and it still offers that cozy atmosphere till date.However, theres really nothing much here to catch your wild attention and may be a bit rowdy during festivities.The gate fee is affordable and they have several tropical trees and few animals for those that might be interested in seeing them.Theres a swimming pool (with inflated balloons for kids) thats accessible to grown-ups too and you might have the chance to ride donkeys - all at a token fee. They also have playhouses for kids and theres a lounge for relaxation.

It is a place that express the beauty of what nature should be, one of the fascinating things about the place are the trees,the lawns,and the natural vegetation.You can also spot the historical premier hotel from within the park.However more can be done in terms of management and side attractions to the park,the park is yet to express it’s full capacity.Clean ups to be done at the mini bridges,and irrigation system needs to be re-evaluated.Since the zoo is not functioning at the moment, focus should be on what the actual park can be.If you’re an enthusiast of clean air and environmental sanity, this is the place for you.

Fresh and nice ambience.It was my first time and althouhg, there was a lot of noise (loud music), it is a great place to relax and chill out.Gate fee is 500Naira (Dec, 2020) and you pay for any other services ypu wish to take (for example, swimming, table tennis, horse ride, etc).You can come with your mat to sit and refreshments are allowed in too.In general, it is a good location and not too far away from major locations (such as the popuar mokola roundabout) and Vinebranch Church, Mokola, in Ibadan.

Very beautiful and amazing place for family and friends hang out.Agodi gardens have the best spots for relaxations and other out door activities which are;a swimming pool, zoo section, Bar and loving views for a couples love to sparkle even More, for me a honeymoon hang out will be just perfect in Agodi.They also have very clean public restrooms with maximum security. Well dont miss a time out when you visit, one of the oldest city Ibadan Nigeria.

A really nice place to relax.An idea scene for a picnic on a quiet day.It mostly crowded during December, festive period and holidays.It zoo isnt impressive but theres room for growth.

I had high expectations visiting this place but it was worst than I imagined. It would serve right if the name is changed to Agodi Event Centre. There were too many organisations erecting tents to have party leaving no space available for tourists. The carpet grasses were badly grown or rather uprooted from one place and thrown to grow in the floors in the garden. No seating space. Poor customer relationship. No security personnel. I think they have four animals all together: 1 bird, some dead crocodiles or was it alligators, 1 duck, three monkeys. And this place is so dirty, so unkempt and hight bushes as a fence. And then there is a restaurant/bar that functions only evenings and a swimming pool that you have to pay another exact amount for entry fee.This place needs a lot of attention it is quite worst than this. And yes, I must say they have hungry looking horses, their ribs ripping out of their bodies.

As a lover of nature agodi gardens blew my mind. Its greenery is next to none. Everywhere is literally green, well maintained garden and landscape , however on the flip size , the staff are not helpful, the pools are beautiful but need lots of care and maintenance. The zoo is quite disappointing, the animals lack care. There is no sign to direct users to the zoo, you will miss your way because theres i literally no sign. The pathway to the zoo is bushy. The zoo doesnt even look safe. There are just a couple of animals in the zoo. These includes crocodile and a monkeys apart from that nothing more. The staff are quite unprofessional, they can do a lot better.

It is such a brilliant place to chill with rides, lounges and paintball. Unfortunately for me, I wasnt able to partake in the paintball as mr and my mates got there after it had closed.The closing time online read 9pm but the attendant there said the arena closes at 6:30pm.We were able to relax at GQ lounge and enjoy some dance entertainment from some kids.It was a good experience I must say.

Beautiful place.Awesome place to hang out as a group.Nice pool, theres a paintball place, there are horses, donkeys, etc.However, the staff are a bit rude, and you have to pay to use literarily every single facility. You pay to enter, pay to use the swimming pool, pay to play pool, pay to play table tennis.

Good food, although a little bit dirty

I loved the natural scenery. Beautiful flowers, great place for a picnic. Activities like horseback riding, swimming and paintball also available. Clean waters, a zoo. I really enjoyed myself.

At the entrance of the garden, my family and I were smiling expecting to sightsee and enjoy some food along the way. We left in thirty minutes, we werent smiling. At least Im sure I wasnt. We couldnt eat there. The entire place was a dump. Wed decided to see the zoo before settling down to eat. Along the way the starved horses we saw should have been a foreshadowing of the terrors we were about to explain. The route to the zoo was filled with trash. The dirt road had trash instead of neatly trimmed grass and flowers to welcome us. The bridge across the lake was dirty and bent at odd places. I at one time feared that children would fall off the bridge for the lack of parapets. At the entrance of the zoo, a starved camel welcomed us, tied to a fallen tree. Its beady eyes watched us as if to say welcome to my nightmare. Ill stop for now. Although I have a lot more to say on the animal cruelty I witnessed there.

I had fun at Agodi Gardens while enjoying a paintballing session with my friends. To relax, sure its very cool. But i had gone there to see the animals and i left without seeing any. The trail that leads to d zoo was overgrown and unkempt, nobody to guide you. We even saw a dead animal in a pond by the zoo, must v bn there awhile n nothing done about it.Asides that, it is a cool and nice place to relax wt family and friends.

This place is a great place for relaxation and hangout with friends and family. There are different ways to connect with nature here, which includes: the swimming pool, GQ Lounge (for food and drink), children moving train, horse rides, bush bar, zoo (with several animals), lake with beautiful fishes.The lawns are beautiful, most trees here has information about them casted on a stone including their botanical names, the forest is great too. This place has a public toilet and its well mapped out to be able to navigate your way.Also, this place is wheelchair accessible and even then car park has wheelchair accessiblity.

Had a picnic here. It was a lovely experience. Went with a mat, a blanket, food and drinks. And of course, the fiancé. The location is amazing for a picnic. The land space to the left of the walkway isnt so conducive for a sit out picnic, as the land is marshy. Took us a while to find the perfect location. We ended up right back at the entrance to the right in the shaded area. It gets very cool in the evenings too. If youve got a blanket, to keep the squitoes away, you might just fall asleep without knowing. In all, loved the experience!

Beautiful place to hangout with family, friends and love ones. Theres a bar, nice swimming pool to play in, theres a water park(although its under renovation now). Play Paintball with your friends too, ride some horse, play VR games and playstation games too. Its a beautiful spot for relaxation and cooling off. Engross yourself into this exciting adventure.

This place is big and ambient, the perfect setting for a picnic. We had so much fun, my friends and I. Im also very impressed with the quality of their toilets as it had adequate water, soap and toilet tissue. Photos were also a joy to snap here. Ill definitely like to go back another time

Agodi Gardens and Park is a treasure within Ibadan. The ambience and the garden atmosphere makes it a really lovely place to be. There are fun things that the family can do here including splashing around in the swimming pool. Hopefully the parks management will make maintenance and constant upgrades a priority.

It is a public park located in Ibadan, Oyo state.It is along parliament road towards the state assembly.It is a great place to be.The environment is cool, has a pool, open ground filled with trees, lawn etc

When it comes to entertainment. I would like to give the site 6-7 on a scale of 10. It is good for family adventures. Hangouts, picnics and eat outs. There are also games, there is a shooting range (of a sort) there, swimming pool and park benches that are just ideal for couples and relaxation. The parking lot is minimally okay. However, it may not be able to take cars in several hundred. The zoo is depleted of animals but can be revived. Good job keeping the place alive.

This is a really nice place to have fun with family and friends. Though there are a chunk of things that needs to be tended to, like the flowing river; it’s no longer active and now smells, if it’s taken good care of, the people visiting will enjoy more insights. Also, a gaming unit draws a lot of young scholars’ attention! Something needs to be done about that. Overall, the place is actually a really nice relaxing Centre, it’d be nice to be there again. Nice recreation centre and it can also be use for any event. It been controlled by the Oyo state government. And if you a lover of good music and like to take both hard and soft drink this place is for you. There is pool to cool off during the hot weather.

Beautiful place for personal and group outings. There is a lounge and a local spot where plan wine is served.The zoo is however not ready and many of the foot bridges are failing.Swimming pool area is cool.
