Nigeria Immigration service Ibadan offers a very good customer service in terms of passport processing the direction on how to register and how to retrieve your passport when its ready is very easy and they dont charge high fee compare to Lagos. During this period of covid19 one needs to put on his or her nose mask before he or she can be allowed to enter into the compound. For those that wants to eat there are kiosk and shops selling snacks and food. There is a mosque inside the compound for those that wants to pray. Also they have a waiting arena for those that wants to do capturing and collect their passport too.

So the process of submission is rigorous, coloured copies of documents needed should have been stated online and the numbers of documents copies needed. After the submission of documents then comes interview (which is not really necessary or could be done via internet based platform) then the BioData capturing. BioData capturing takes an entirety especially if you actually didnt know anyone....sigh!

Need to be more organized, need to be accommodating and above all they need more capturing marching for all who need to update or new

This is the worse place to be... If you cant give bribe, you will have to sit and sit and sit for hours, until you can finally settle. They are so corrupt.

Well, theres organization. But its highly suggested you know who youre going to meet, like contact the person before you get there. And if you can pay the due fees, you can get your passport in less than a week!

The officers are always ready to support you. It feels like they gain something special by making customers feel well attended to. Of course, there are various areas the system can improve on but the customer service covers up a multitude of issues.

They delayed my passport for over 7months

Can you believe these guys could conveniently tell me to come back for my card after six months?? It is a terrible place to go obtain your passport. I couldnt continue my registration there because of this. Meanwhile, the workers at the gate were giving hint that the card could be processed and made available within two weeks if you paid more. Im so sick of this country!

The officers in charge are very nice and they attend to the applicants with respect. The problem they have is crowd control while the sitting shade provided does not have adequate chairs, only two small ox fan, the heat there is unbearable finally they dont have constant power supply or backup at the waiting place provided.

It is like every Nigerian establishment.You have to know someone to get stuff done .I applied for the my passport in April 2019 and got it in August 2019, there was a shortage of passport booklets hence the delay. Normally, it shouldnt take more than 2 weeks.I payed 28000 naira for the 32 paged document.

Took me about 3 weeks to process my international passport. The place looks organised though, but the reception should be expanded for more People.

Service here is not bad. But be ready to wait endlessly and come back a lot of times if youre not ready to offer a tip. Its so crazy that even the guys at the gate would claim to be special and can get you your passport the next day (bloody lie). After you have tipped them and prolly were able to jump the queue for (not literally jump cos you still gotta wait out like the whole day) for your biometrics, then comes the story of no paper to print on or the machine to print is faulty et all and you still gotta wait out all the same... SMH 😏

The service is much more better now than then. Waiting period is minimised and you get attended to regardless of knowing someone or not. There is a parking space and business hub where you get to pay the fee required and fill forms. Transfer or POS transactions also available.
