Midetel Hotel is one of the best place to stay in Agbowo-UI, Ibadan. It is about 5minutes

Old but never out of class is how I will define this place. You wont believe how neat and organised this beauty is. The rooms are very affordable too, 247 electricity, spacious parking lot. A good place to relax and have a weekend chill without cutting the budget.

Decent place for the price. Well maintained, but staff need more training to address guest issues.

Its a comfy place, just that some little things like broken wall sockets, squeaking chairs, and incessant smoke (cigaret) smelling rooms should be attended to.Overall its a really Good place. and a good value for the cost.

There are rodents in the room I stayed, Room 106 and I complained Ed but nothing was done, cockroach entered my camera bag while leaving, had to get to Lagos before I killed it. Rats running around the room. It wasnt a good experience

Prices range from N5000 to N12000.Accessing the Hotel from Lagos Ibada Expressway, just after Agbowo Bus Stop is the more motorable option.The services are above average, and the complementary breakfast though not very high class is acceptable. The rooms are neat and always fumigated. The laundary service is not very reliable. As a place to retire to and or host event guests at pocket friendly costs, the Hotel is top of the pack.No swimming pool nor garden. Its a closed architecture

Midetel Ibadan is an interesting hotel to be in. They have all the needed accessories ranging from 24 hour light, Well fitted Air conditioning and price effective rooms.

People need to be truthful in appraisals of public facilities so as to give intending visitors true perception of things before they make decisions. Based on this hotels search Engine optimization, I was inclined to use them when I couldnt return to Lagos on my short visit to Ibadan. That the decision is the worst I had made in recent times. In fact, as I type this, I and my wife are still having body pains from the wood we were made to sleep on. Everything was wrong with the hotel and their services. First, guests are being forced to pay caution fee in addition to regular charges. The rooms (floor, walls, bathroom and toilet seat) are crazily dirty and you wonder if they have cleaners. I dont know what type of hotel uses the kind of bed in Midetel. It could be likened to sleeping on bare floor or wood. I changed rooms twice, but the beds were all the same. Also the AC didnt work. I complained twice but was told to be patient for them to change their power source to generator, which they never did till I left. There are also mosquitoes and cockroaches crawling and flying about in the room. All together, it was a very sad experience I would wish anyone go through except there a major improvement in the hotel facility and maintenance.

I had a little stain on the beddings which I tried to clean, on checking the room for departure the receptionist and laundry man insisted I wash the beddings or pay for the washing before leaving the premises. This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard in any hotel. Also there was no smoking pinned around the hotel but this was not adhered to with heavy smoking taking place within the premises.

Its relatively neat, situated in the quietest region of agbowo (a place densely populated by University of Ibadan students). And its pocket friendly with lowest lodgement below $15 (5,500 naira to be precise). Photos will be supplied on next visit.

For the price of lodging at this hotel, Id say you get value for money. The surroundings were tidy and the staff were polite. My room was close to the generator house and it happened that they were running on a small gen, which meant I could not use the AC and water heater for some time, and had to resort to using a wall fan. I had to close the windows to shut out noise from the gen house too. I feel these could have been avoided if they turned on the bigger gen they had immediately. They turned on the bigger gen much later though.Apart from the temporary issue with the gen, I enjoyed my stay here.

Affordable hotel. Even the cheapest room boasts an AC, expansive bed and DSTV.Theres constant electricity and a nice ambience with a central quadrangle excellent for taking photographs.There is a complimentary breakfast of bread and tea which isnt much to write home about. But then, you cant have everything 🤷‍♂️

The road to the hotel is bad however it is close to University of Ibadan.The staff can greatly improve especially their attitude.The breakfast was sandwich and it was bland and served with worn wares.For the location, it might be okay, however do not expect to be wowed. Just sleep and move.
