The National Archive is a place where you can find historical documents and texts. Situated in the University of Ibadan campus, along Chapel of the Resurrection. It has a serene environment but it the buildings need to be renovated, as they are quite old. There is a restaurant behind the archive where one can find palatable meals at affordable prices.
This canteen is a very lovely one to be candid, make sure you patronize them and eat good food.
Food is not pricey and really good. Love their firewood jollof.
If you are looking for a place to eat Amala with Abula and you are around UI, this is the place to go.
Its a nice canteen with delicious meals. The costumer service is quite slow though
The food was really nice but the service was a bit poor. They definitely do need an upgrade.
Tasty meals at affordable prices. The extension to outdoor sitting is a welcome idea but the canteen itself needs a face lift.
Nice food wonderful scenery
The place is one of the best places for local food in Nigeria
The food is okay, and they have a good facility.
Did some work here, this place doesnt inspire. My humble submission.
Good cheap food
Great place to get information.Im told it has the largest collection of archival materials in Nigeria. However, the place requires a facelift. Also, some of the materials are falling apart. If not preserved in some other format, they would be lost.
National Archives is a place where you can get access to information about so many things. You can get newspapers that were printed over 50 years ago.Theres also a restaurant that serves good food within the premises.Overall, you will enjoy a serene and relaxing ambience
Nice soup
The place is very good, serene and gentlemanly....... The serenity is capped with a restaurant that offers the best pounded yam within the university campus. A trial will convince you. Just try the meal there and you will not regret spending a dime there.
Good food, better service
It is located within the university of Ibadan, close to UI hotels opposite Chapel of resurrection. My favourite amala (Yam flour balls) with assorted goat meat spot resides there 😁🙈
A place for all old informations at your finger tip
It’s an archive like the archive that it should be, but there is this restaurant within its premises, Holy Jeez, it’s popular than the archive itself. Lol. Nice place.💕
Its quite crude, old building and all, I dont think anything really goes on there. But theres an Amala spot at the back 😋. A real competition to Amala Skye if discovered. Tried it once and have been hooked since then.
I advise you visit National Archives of Nigeria, Ibadan Centre for your research work.
Despite been built in the 90s, It is well maintained till date.
Not bad but might need revamp
Cool but not well organised
It houses all the archival facts of Nigeria, the place itself is history and it has a nice restaurant in it where sumptuous meal are prepared especially the Ofada rice.
Well developed now and looking more seren
The Ibadan branch of the National Archives. A rich but badly maintained place. Youll have to pay 2000 Nairato register for a month
Interesting Amala joint behind the building.
The government needs to do a serious work in this place. Contents are okay but the environment is terrible
A cool place to be with lots of information
Not completely resourceful.
Located inside the University of Ibadan Ibadan Oyo state. The best source of archival information in Nigeria
Its a nice and conducive place
It is a place where very old documents can be found especially public records before Nigerias Indepenfence. That is before 1960.
When I hear of National archive, I remember amala archive.😁
Very old place in need of serious renovation.
Waw I love this wonderful place
Nice place to be.
It is located very close to UI hotel. A National archive indeed.
Need to pay 10000n a month for accessing the catalogue.
My family is my life
Great place
Documents are hard to find. And when you get they are half-battered. Needs a lot reclamation with microfilms.
Its good
Where exactly is the national archive of Nigeria in University of Ibadan? Are u a student/lecturer in the faculty of Agriculture?
One of the three archives we have in Nigeria
They keep records of almost everything
Easily accessible
Local Amala joint
Useful but too archaic, as the name implies
Nice meals
There is a bindery section here, where you can bind your documents.
If youre looking for really old books and literature resources
