This was a beautiful natural park before the government decided to modify it. This modification did not make the park better despite introduction of art works especially an unnecessarily large sculpture of a lion that has a small hall in its belly. Strange right!Some of the things I found disturbing in this part was the poor handling of the waterways. The channels constructed are actually obstructing the natural flow of the water, converting once flowing waters to dirty stagnant water bodies in the so-called ponds. Its fully they put up a sign for boat rides whereas, the water is a bit too narrow and the boats are make of some metal without oars or an engine. Technically, if you were crazy enough to get into the boats, you will just be sitting in and not going anywhere.The park is still beautiful and with the added benches and walkways, its a nice place to hang out with friends and family or have a picnic.If you are a content creator, hoping to record some clips at the park, expect the staff to demand bribes. As a matter of fact, they claimed that cameras were it allowed in the facility but for a bribe, they will look the other way. Im not sure this is a real regulation or just some extortion techniques.I think the park can be a lot better if the government got competent and professional hands to man the facility.

A beautifully designed Part, Just opposite Okpara Square Enugu. It features beautiful nature scenes, sit outs, games, fountain, game/fun equipments for both adults and Children...from rough estimation...A very big area to contain up to or even more than a thousand people, at the same time.

Unity Park is where you just want to be over the weekend to relax either alone or with someone you love.The calm, beautiful and serene environment provides you an atmosphere that is surreal and ecstatic.The trees, grasses, water.. and all. So fresh,

This park was ‘done up’ by current governor - Hon. Ugwuanyi was opened to the public in May 2021. We enjoyed the park and have been there 3ice in two weeks as it’s right in the center of town. It’s a great picnic spot with lovely trees, benches, sheltered spaces, a tiny playground, ponds and some boats on the water that don’t function anymore.It’s free entry for now and I wish people were reminded and made to make sure they pick up their trash.So far so good , I wish them well and I hope this would be the first of many developments for tourist sites as there are many other viable locations the government can pay attention to, especially those with caves and waterfalls eg ngwo pine forest.

Very serene place for relaxation.Good landscaping.The arts and sculptures represent the historical events of the Igbo people.Its a lovely place for meetups. And really neat. The ponds are not so neat due to human activities.Theres no car park in here

Serene and comfortable, for lone time, Business or social outing.Adequate security and location at heart of metropolis. One of Enugus best recreation park so far.

Its a natural and cozy environment, perfect for relaxation and meditation.

I dont have a lot of things to say about this park because I only briefly experienced but I totally enjoyed my brief experience here.The huge Roaring Lion of Africa.The serene environment.Good hospitality managers.Available seating spaces that encourages couples bonding...Ease of access.Good location.This place didnt get a 5 ☆ rating from me because I didnt get to see a lot of it.For example, I didnt check if they have a Convenience or not.Hopefully I will have enough time on my next visit...

An amazing place for group meetup. This is one of the best park in Enugu municipal. It is recently renovated by the State government. It has a serene atmosphere and lots of beautiful scenes. It is an amazing place for picnics. It is also a good recommendation for lovebirds. I would love to visit again soon.

Centrally located at the heart of independence layout Enugu. The unity park just got a face lift but there is room for improvement as there is little to do when one goes there. No comfortable chairs and shades to seat. No table slabs to keep edibles say snacks. The boat ride isnt attractive as the water is dirty and the boat is Rickety and unsafe.

Attractive when looked upon from outside, filled with teak trees and other lush vegetation and interesting sculptures. Has a pool where you can enjoy* a boat ride.Also has various sheds that are good enough for picnics and photoshoots, and a simple playground for children.Entrance is free as at the moment this was written and there are multiple options to increase visits to the park.

Nice place for picnics, to have a quiet time, couples can actually cool off there to have a cool conversation, family nice time out but in a way i felt sad been there cause it lacks a lot, its not well organized, clean but unkept, dirty water and so much more. Quite a waste of money invested there if i will say cause i expected more, whoever handled that project should have done better

Its alright. Not congested (which I love). Enough trees, a little lake. Nice scene. And I enjoy my time there (except the mosquitoes that come out in the evening near the lake).

Beautiful park, the lion is absolutely HUGE, what a fantastic exhibit!! The trees are so lovely and make the park what it is, something different and unique. Very relaxing, with a boating area for kids (though there was nothing going on there during our visit).There are floodlights surrounding the lion which must be an awesome sight to behold at night but regrettably we were unable to stick around to see that.Well done Enugu, long may more tourist attractions like this be created in abundance.

Havent been yet, but Im sure its a cool and fun place to be. Itll be a huge tourist attraction someday.

One of the newly developed park in Enugu during the administration of Hon.Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as the governor of Enugu state. It is a fine environment with some sculptures and an artificial pond. It is surrounded with pine trees and also have sit outs where people can hang out. It is a nice place for picnic and for family outing
