Surprising this place still accepts lodging, visibly you can tell it’s been existing for a very long time but the structure still hold up pretty good. They’ve got modern elevators that function optimally, the rooms are quite good and easily beats some newer hotel and it’s got excellent water pressure which is a common problem with many newer hotels. Ultimately you can tell this hotel is aged and that is noticeable in the facade and aspects of the interior. Also half functional and not fully staffed, you really should not expect promptness and other services typical of modern hotels functioning at full capacity.

Rustic due to age, but rooms are cozy. If youre a lover of serene and quiet environment, then youll find it perfect. Fair price, delicious African cuisines. Courteous members of staff. I stayed here anytime I am in Enugu.

It was fun... but rat in room 530 eat my travelling bag to get to the groundnut inside. Too bad. I ought to had sue for damages of property but will be forgiven if only you can provide the life rat that actually did it.

For you want to stay in a reasonably priced low budget hotel with facilities that are ok, then this is the place for you to be. Its cool serene and not too rowdy. The rooms are not upscale and can do much better but its fair for someone who has a lower budget. Its got a abundant parking space . The staff behavior is also fair enough. If youre in Enugu and you want to keep it on the down low, you may consider this place.

Its not a 3 star hotel. Its no longer Modotel of old. Its acompletely decayed and dilapidated building. Everything furniture and fitting is pointing to passed glory. Dirty environment. No comfort is gotten staying in there. The only new thing in Modotel is the newly installed Lift
