Probably one of the best and most secured orientation camps in the country. If you’re posted to Jigawa, you’ll enjoy a serene environment with a favorable weather, affordable Mammy market as compared to most other camps. The military are very friendly, as long as you don’t act out of order.

A stressful but nice place

Its a very peaceful place and conducive to stay, even the security is very very okay there. So, am excited as am camping and having a new life experience.

Pretty good. Blocks are recently built and in fairly good shape including accomodation blocks, toilet facilities arent so good however. Water supply and electricity are fairly regular. Mosque and Chapel available on camp. Prices of goods are variable, some outrageous, others normal.

Lovely environment. The NYSC staffs and security men there are very friendly and are always concern with challenges faced by prospective corp members at the point of registration.But, I still think they should look into the meals being served to corp members. Most of us are coming from different part of the country, and majority may not be familiar with some Northern foods and the way its being prepared. I think there should always be a stand for food for people from the south, east west for the sake of our body systems. There are some food one will eat or probably the ingredients used in preparing it does not go well with our system and at the end, we begin to fall sick.Apart from this observation, all other aspect of the camp is okay except that there is no alcohol to keep the body going after tedious parades. 😤😤😤😂😂

I will never forget babalawo and mamalawo slang, its such a beautiful experience there... We Gingin the body and never get balanced 😂.

The place is good, nice structures, great environment with trees. The buildings are well kept. The only thing is the weather is not so favourable for those who are not used to alternating between extreme hot and cold.

A nice camp. Very neat with water and electricity available. Sometimes, data network (for browsing) can be crazy but strategic points like under the pavilion, the tree at the entrance of the males hostel and some points at mammy market, youll get network there... but airtel is better tho. All in all, Fanisau camp isnt a bad place. I camped there in 2018 (Batch B1).

Theres light and water (d water is hard water) but no network (airtel is best there) and d water drainage system is awful so the flies and the mosquitoes are on another level. Do not go there without mosquito net, dont dare it. The cold and d sun penetrates to the bone. Amazingly clear and beautiful sky

Strict but clean, comfortable environment, although the food wasnt so good, but I guess that comes with most orientation camps, luckily, there was mami market.

Very good building structures with modern touches, large spaces etc. Just that during camping there used to be no internet access on phones but only calls during camping. Has good tap water, electricity and a mini market a. k. a Mami market with almost everything one would need.

Im destined to be posted to Fanisau Camp of Jigawa State. Fanisau Camp is among the best camp in Nigeria, In terms of Accommodation, Constant Electricity, Security among others... Infact being a graduate without attending the orientation camp you missed a lot. Another advantage is i meet with many people who are from nook and cranny of this country. This is one of the finest and neatest camp in Nigeria. Its located at the state capital and is situated at a well secured environment close to the army barracks. This camp is new and anybody that camps here will enjoy it because they don’t stress Corper’s in the camp

It was okay. It is not possible for one to see total comfort because, it is called a camp.Very inspiring lectures, parade competition, cooking competition and lots more

I havent been to other orientation camps in Nigeria asides this. But I must confess, Jigawa state NYSC orientation camp is an amazing place to be. The basic amenities are provided here. The only thing restricting me from giving it a 5 star is the poor network reception.
