Its was wonderful, beautiful serene environment

Its actually a shadow of its original plan but during the festive period, its booked with alot of people around.I see it as okay because we came as a holiday group and there was so much fun for us by the to travel agency who brought us here.The facility is just there, nothing special, food just okay, rooms okay, services okay.

I was really disappointed when I visited as I already had a lot of expectations of Tinapa Resort.. I got there and actually regretted the trip. The place is mismanaged! And almost ruined.. nothing works there.. the pool is not dredged and the water is very dirty! All the water ways and amenities at the resort werent functioning. There is apparently nothing pf interest there.. Dont go there..

When visiting this place,make sure youve a car to help you move around if not! Heheehehe,you shall walk and be tired😂. Anyways,its a nice place to be and Im sorry I couldnt get more pictures because I was having so much fun that I forgot to actually take pictures. Im looking forward to visiting again soon and after that visit, Ill have a lot of pictures to satisfy your eyes with😊😊

The place isnt functioning anymore

The Tinapa Business resorts is not what its used to be. The Management and Government of Cross river State are not investing to keep the dream and aspirations of the Cross River residents alive. The venue used to be a centre of attraction and world class interests for international conferences and national programs during the Donald Duke Administration.The place is so dry and silence by the time I visited. There was no sign of business around the resort as few individuals who operate their businesses are complaining seriously. The electricity supply is not stable and therefore perishable goods and energy Services products cannot be opened.I will not recommend this place for anyone to visit because its a way of resources and time coming from Abuja or any part of the Country all in the name of visiting Tinapa. Even the hotel that used to be a world class is very quite and not funded to operate like a functional Government supported facility.The present government seems to loose interest in this multi sectoral industry. If the Government cannot manage this Industry, maybe it should be privatized so that public can have access to its shares and manage it to maximize profits.

This place was built to house AMEs, be a one stop leisure place for families and friends. But change in government has turned it into something else

Tinapa is as multipurpose Entertainment and leisure park located at the outskirts of Calabar city. As at the time of Visit it was almost not functioning due to lack of maintance. There was zero guests at the hotel and the only functioning part of this edifice was the swimming pool which is now majorly visited by the locals.There are rumors that the state government leased the place out to a private firm and since then # the place is now a shadow of what it used to be.

That place is simply out of management.

A quiet and serene location. However the facilities are on the decline. Its glory days are gone. When they is no event going on, it is place to go if you want to get away from it all.

Lovely room. Lovely view. The lakeside is beautiful and one can actually go on a boat ride. Enjoyed their food service esp plantain&eggs! Super courteous staff. Just that its beginning to look abandoned - cobwebs in the high ceilings and grass growing in between concrete slabs. Poor maintenance no doubt yet it was a remarkable experience. Oh, and noisy, really noisy, air conditioner in my room.

Nice place for retreat. Has the ambience for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nice and courteous staff as well.

Highly deserted. Most shops were closed down, the ones left were dark and musty. No directions as it is quite an enormous place and we got lost several times locating places there. They need to revamp the place, such a waste of a great tourist idea and simply space. A great big waste of space.

The Lakeside hotel is fantastic and the waterpark, boat cruise are such a fun activity to engage in.

Good tourist centre in the mode of Sun City in South Africa. Though it wasnt fully operational when I visited but it is expected that activities will pick up well before Christmas.

Cosy but exquisite. A little bit over priced but worth every effort to be here. Not many entertainment options around. Nice though.

The restaurant is a joke ....i did not stay i only went there to eat and they had only 4 local dishes although they said on phone they were operating with continental dishes. Not worth the trip.

Awesome place. Could be boring if visited during off season period. And please, if you dont have a car, have a taxi on standby for you all the time. The walk from the main gate is quite a distance.

The dream of Tinapa seems abandoned, or perhaps the momentum to realize the end product was lost somewhere in time. The mega shopping complex was a colossal waste as at time of visit.

Tinapa hotel is a hotel with everything of there service is so comfortable and convenience.. I love tinapa lakeside hotel...

Hotel is not functioning until then dont have bulk booking.... Food is not available bcoz no guest in hotel ...but yes drinks are available and if you like nature and silence place then you can visit. Food is expensive.
