A small roadside market at Edim-Otop, a community in Atimbo area of Calabar. The market has mainly foodstuff on sale using tables and a few lock up shops. Sales here are carried out predominantly by women and children, in addition the men who sell goat meat, beef and other items. Its a perfect place to buy what you need to cook soup, rice, plantain and other local delicacies.
This is a typical Nigerian local market. Highly recommended if youre looking for fresh food produce. Much better if you can ignore the state of hygiene. Very muddy when it rains.
This was a small market, its becoming big by day, at least you can fine 65% of the things u need.
Edim Otop by Culvert never sleeps.It bustles with fruits and pork trade as well as other grocery shops opened till as late as 2:am.Its definitely not a suburb. Its a thriving commercial area.
