It was awesome. The third East circular market is also known as Ekiosa market. Its a multi-purpose market, and major market for food stuff, confectioneries, toiletries, etc.
Ekiosa market is a one stop open buying and selling market place where you can purchase all kinds of foodstuffs and general house wares. From fresh vegetables to dried catfish, tomatoes, grains and cereals, laundry, fashion items and electricals, the market offers wide variety of locally sourced stuffs at great prices. Its a very busy place and located between the popular Second and Third Junctions.
You can buy all kinds of raw food products...Theres also a market for buying items for traditional/herbal medicine...
Its one of the best market in Benin. The marketer are friendly but one thing is that its also a very tired place
One thing I love about markets in the south is that the markets are very clean. Ekiosa market is also very clean. It is close to 3rd Junction, Benin City. You will get food, clothing, jewelry etc. at this market.
In third junction, all non imaginable things happen here both day Time . You must keep your phone in your pocket and protect your valuable from been see.
I can easily buy things here, close to my abode.
For all food items and wears
Easy access to buy
For your food items
Its a nice market but needs to be invested in more.
Center of benin
Not every sells inside the Market, some sell outside because theres no much space inside the market
Rowdy and disorderly with road encroachment by marketer rife. A den of street/market urchins. Watch your purse and watch your phone.
You ever want to go shopping, then Ekiosa market located in the heart of Benin City is the best place. They have a variety and a large range of goods and services in this market. You need not to worry about parking space as you would be direct to a space. Feel free to do your food shopping in this market as the security is 101% confirmed.
Awesome place to get anything, concerning food you want.
It was a good experience. Is really a world of all round satisfaction
A small market for your one stop food purchase
Its a consumer market
Its a place to get your goods and food stuffs at ease
Nice place to buy food
Ekiosa market is always my favourite place when it comes but buying specific items in Benin like hair accessories and live chicken. Food stuff is also relatively cheap. If you are one of those who get scared of cats and mad people, ekiosa market isnt your place to be. I especially like it cos when you buy a whole live chicken, they kill and dress it on your request which makes cooking very easy
Ekiosa market is a big market located in the mid of Benin. The market is very centralise and can be easily located. You can get differs kind of house wares, kitchen utensils and upholstery. Also, you can also get cloths and some other things. The market is located along second east circular road, Benin city, Edo state.
Since d market got burnt since 2019 the government and those in position to fix it has done nothing about it
A popular market Benin City, Edo State. You can get your good stuffs, provisions and other accessories there.
It crowded with street boys
One of the best market in the city. You can shop for groceries, clothes, shoes, books, and other things commonly used in our homes.
It was wonderful, havent been there for a long time... The only pain is the fire outbreak
The ever busy Ekiosa Market is one of the oldest in Benin City. You can get all your daily supplies here as well as a wide array of supplies for your baby. The market is notorious for the traffic it creates on that axis of the city.
Typical Nigerian wet market.Contains a large population of shops and you could probably get every domestic shopping need here. The roads connecting parts of the market are however in a deplorable state and cramped stalls could be claustrophobic. One could easily get lost on the inside.Sanitation and refuse disposal are also areas that need redesign and higher standards. However, it is no worse than the other wet markets Ive been to
Quite coordinated during day time
Foodstuff and other goods are competitively priced. A bit lower than other markets in the city. I do most of my fresh food shopping there
Full of good food items, almost all the Nigerian good stuffs can be found here
Ekiosa market is a general open market where you can get fresh produce ranging from meat, fish, yams, vegetables to provisions like beverages. prices are not fix and subject to negotiation. The environment is ok but not conducive for children and toddlers as it is located along a major road and always busy so it will be stressful shopping and managing kids af the same time.
A semi modern market. Neat and easily accessible. Along a major road .
A market you can find fresh items for cooking
Its a one stock market for various live-stocks. It has traders who sell animals such as crocodile, tortoise, porcupine, grass-cutter and all sort of animals that you may not find in other markets.
That were I get my own food stuff... Nice place but need to be tidy and keep clean.
Easily accessible but those planks called paths people walk on will give way very soon and I hope no one gets seriously injured
All sort of food stuffs can be found here
Ekiosa market is a long existing market between Second and Third East Circular Road, u can get a variety of so many items and at an affordable rate starting from food items, baby items, frozen foods, life animals etc.
Standard middle sized Nigerian market. Messy. Not a touristy kind of place. Parking maybe difficult
Regular Open market, Deals in Food stuffs n ingredients, 10% on clothing, provisions, live stocks etc. Market is very dirty and smells alot. Parking is along the road. The section close to 3rd east circular is very dangerous due to the heavy activity of hoodlums in the area. The rich dont come to this Market.
With the work of the state Government the market is a little bit organized now compared to last 8years ago where almost all the traders carryout their trade at the road thereby causing traffic.
The crowd is too much
This is a very ancient market located in the heart of the ancient city of Benin. A lot of trading activities take place here. It is also a meeting point for both local and foreign food. Almost everything is found in this market.
Best market
Great place to get whatever you want. Fresh vegetables are brought in every morning.
This is a daily market located in between 2nd and 3rd East circular road, Benin City. The atmosphere is calm inside but roudy out side. But its a place where most items are sold.

Ekiosa Market is located in the heart of Benin City popularly known as Third Junction. The market leads to various major roads such as the Muritala Muhammad way, sapele road, second junction, ring road, Benin Abraka road etc. It is presumed as the biggest market in Benin City as all items could be found there. Kada plaza is just a few seconds away from the market.

Ekiosa Market of God or ( Osa Market), better still, EkiOsa, is owned by my family. The Ogiamien Royal Family, it became opened to d public in 1968, just after d Jehovahs witness held and finished their first ever seminars that ushered them to Utantan Bini.Ekiosa market was so named by d OGIAMIEN of UTANTAN BINI to commemorate, d fact dat d children of God just held a convention on d ground.Ekiosa market is a place u can buy and sell, without problems.Ekiosa marker borders on two(2), major roads ,on d eastern side of the market, is M.M.Way, formerly 3rd East Circular road, while on d west of the market, is 2nd East Circular road and on southern side is Sakponba road. All roads crossed Sakponba road.In Bini Eki is same as Market. While Osa is same as God, then the name God Market in English is same in Bini dialect called EkiOsa.Please, avbiama is not anywhere close to EkiOsa in Benin, dont use it to corrupt my write-ups.Thank u very much.
Nice place to get nice foodstuff and other items
Nice place to get all sorts if local food stuffs
Be careful of this place, small bad guys dey there well. Most especially for night
Good market place
You can get all you need here but try to bit the traffic there.
The market environment is unkept, the debris there is wahoo!this will not be in the interest of the local government council assign to evaquate the waste to avoid epidemic spread in the area.Urgent measures is needed now
