This is a lovely, classy, clean-crowd kind of place to hang out. They have different options, from contemporary T-bone steak, to the pounded yam menu. They have armed security men, located in the serene GRA in Benin. Visited thrice in 2 days!First day, I had the dry fish peppersoup for lunch with a group of about 20 people. We returned around 11pm for some exclusive club vibes and I had the grilled fish. Others had pounder yam, shawarma, chicken and chips.They have separate sitting lounges enclosed halfway in glass, all air-conditioned to give an outdoor feel and they also have the park bench setting for the outdoor feel. A good sized club and 10 rooms for sleep over.The whole idea behind this place is to give you comfort without running into some miscreants who seem to be taking over lots of nice places in town ( if you know you know).It says members only but they really mean if youre shady, Stay away. They want it exclusive for core professionals and a clean ajebo crowd.

The tavern was tranquil and serene. I personally enjoyed the grilled guinea fowl. It was a delight

It boasts separate sections carved out to address the cravings of the diverse crowd ranging from snooker players lounge, to a club house, to an outdoor sit-out and a mellow lounge if you want a quieter setting.

I love The Tavern. I love how they try to maintain an exclusive crowd. I love the layout and the cleanliness. I used to love the food till they served me chicken and chips, majority of the chicken were bones and tasted rotten. Was trapped with a bad stomach in the toilet when I got home. Their accomodation does not befit the establishment and its clientele.

Relax atmosphere pleasant staff and a nightclub a bar and a pool table and grill.

The ambiance is good and generally decent. Meals are great, although it takes quite some time before they are ready.

If you like quiet, serene, secretive locations then The Tavern is just for you, loved it, the grilled fish, albeit expensive, is really worth it. The food is generally nice and the ambience is great. I will recommend it!
