It use to be a place filled with heavy traffic ,caused by road sellers ,hawkers and transport vehicles going to the north. Recently its got a more descent look, more hospitable and better out look. Thanks to the commissioner of environment, delta state.

Safe junction to stop when travelling to Asaba, but be careful at night.

Abraka is a very nice place to visit as much as your in Nigeria. Although my time was very short there.

The Abraka market at present has been demolished by government and the area cleared as it now causes gridlock to the adjoining express road. The market has been moved to another town, Okoh.

Abraka market has been closed and relocated to Oko Junction by Delta state government.There is no Market there again

This place is situated along the road on the highway leading from Onitsha to other parts of the Nigeria through delta state.It is both a small market and a bus garage, hence, popular with travellers.Miscellaneous bus companies load and pick up passengers here on journies to other regions

A market owned and name after a one late Mr Abraka. This market is predominantly occupied by the Hausas, and Northern traders who where driven from Onitsha during the Onitsha crisis against the northern for killing their Igbo brothers in the north. The then governor of delta state welcomed the distressed northern traders and gave them the space. Now they have occupied everywhere there and their numbers rises in tens every day as they have found delta state to be comfortable and crisis free zone for them. Evey day the Northern alamagiries troop into Asaba in their numbers seeking for means of livelihood and surviver. The market is predominantly of goods from northern produce such as rice, beans, yam, water melon, onions, carrot, goats and cow meeat, ram etc.
