A serene environment
This is a historic place, where the Lander brothers actually anchored, died and where buried alongside some of their colleagues, its a tourist point at Asaba not too distant from the Mongo Parks house. The air here is fresh, being by the side of the river Niger, with a sit-out hanging almost over on the bank of the river, giving a great view.
Cool Riverside bar. Beautiful architectural & sculptural works. Museum & historic archive.
A well designed and historical spot for relaxation with a garden, drinks and great pepper soup and a nice view of the river Niger. Also match viewing services are available.
Serene, outdoor bush bar overlooking the river niger, good service
Nice and quiet environment with a good view of the Niger. Good if you have a book to read or just want to spend a nice afternoon with your family or friends.
Lander brother is an relaxation centre and welcome portable environment I love the place
Serene Environment, Open Air Sitout
The view was nice. Loved the pepper soup too.
Nice Museum.According to History, I learnt that :-It was built in memory of the Lander Brothers-Richard and John who anchored at about that spot of the River Niger during the expedition that they took over from Mungo Park. The erected anchorage is, however, not the original one but a replica; the original one is at Aboh. The Lander Brothers are credited with the discovery of the mouth of the River Niger.
