Its a nice place to relax and learn about the history of the Lander Brothers, Mungo Park and exploration of the Niger River. Be weary of the Old man who asks you to pay money to enter. Hes just looking for a bribe and he holds no threat.

Scenic View.

It is beautiful with average maintenance. I expect more activities asides the bar with clueless employees. A bit more publicity will do the place good as it seems as though no one can be bothered to look at the history boat and man-made beach within the premises.

A serene environment

This is a historic place, where the Lander brothers actually anchored, died and where buried alongside some of their colleagues, its a tourist point at Asaba not too distant from the Mongo Parks house. The air here is fresh, being by the side of the river Niger, with a sit-out hanging almost over on the bank of the river, giving a great view.

Nice Museum.According to History, I learnt that :-It was built in memory of the Lander Brothers-Richard and John who anchored at about that spot of the River Niger during the expedition that they took over from Mungo Park. The erected anchorage is, however, not the original one but a replica; the original one is at Aboh. The Lander Brothers are credited with the discovery of the mouth of the River Niger.
