Arochukwu is a beautiful and historic village. The story of white men bringing Christianity into Nigeria started from Arochukwu.

Its worthy of note that this primary school is about the oldest in the community. By Chance it is called obinkita primary school. But the locals believe the land originally belonged to ugwuavô village,who left it,presumptuously, at obinkitas care while on fleet during Aro-british war.
