Rescue hostel is an hostel located of campus at the south gate of federal university Akure. It is believed that this hostel has been in existence even before the establishment of FUTA. The hostel according to reliable source said it has been in existence since the days of polytechnic which has now been moved down to Ado Ekiti to pave way for establishment of FUTA for the replacement.

Rescue hostel is OK and well spacious.

Student Lodge at FUTA south gate. Not too far from school. It has a couple of bungalows and it is fenced round.

Not the best hostel. Needs massive renovation.

Not a conducive enviroment to live, but tends to attract interesting characters.

Bad road, even worse when it rains, sometimes not motorable
