Although you might have heard of how tedious being a student in this school can be, it is actually a mix of both worlds, I studied geography and planning science in this great school ( but this course has now been split into two now geography on it own urban and planning too)The school is like every other Nigerian institution, with the sometimes unnecessary stress, but they take academics quite seriously seeing I finished my course of study relatively around 4 year plus a few months despite the strike and disruption in academics.I love my school!
A citadel of learning, 21st century University properly called
Not bad, but 4 star noooooo
A good university also known as the 21st Century properly called one, it has produced so many best students who are doing well in their respective fields & areas of lives currently. The Main gate before Ikare-akoko which is where students and various individuals go through is longer in use as I just got to find out recently and this is due to the ghastly motor accident that happened sometime ago leaving so many students Dead and some injured. The Main gate in use is now the one situated at the Permanent Site though all other small gate for pedestrian walk-ins are still functional.United Bank for Africa (UBA) is now in operation at the school amongst other banks which the school had such as Access Bank, Zenith Bank and Polaris Bank. Do note that all banks in Akungba-Akoko are situated within the school premises for proper security.
The school is giving students the best
Less Activities on school.More structures.Use shuttles for transportation or private. The Main entrance to the school is the second gate close to the one of the market or Pedestrian gate behind Olusegun Obasanjo Multipurpose Hall. The relaxation center is still there.I love the fact that there are beautiful building and the compound is spacious and marked car park too

Adekunle Ajasin University is a 21st century university properly called. As a graduate of this noble institution now in a respected grad school in the States, I regularly find myself appreciating how AAUA formed me, to the point of becoming a global asset.Although I started freshman year with just enough to survive school, the capacity that got instilled in me, passed on from Lecturers/Professors with amazing desires for knowledge transfer; the consciously-tailored curriculum that bridges the gap between academia and industry, yet suitably preparing students for careers in research; the emulatable leadership and service of the then Vice Chancellor, Professor Femi Mimiko; complemented by the beautiful scenery of anywhere called Campus, sparked life into my student experience, and got me extremely grateful for all the platforms AAUA gave for me to excel as a student. These lessons of genuine service stuck, even after school.Talking of a contemporary and sustainable university, those days when the government would not attend to the lurking issues of electricity in Akungba, AAUA took a giant stride by leveraging on solar technology, to guarantee electricity for all students and staff between the hours of 9am - 4pm EVERY WORK DAY, and 7pm - 9pm EVERY DAY. This guarantee helped me to plan my day through the four years, and I am still amazed at how this medium-sized school excelled at resource management. It is interesting to know that at this time, the university was constructing the Senate Building, an architectural masterpiece which would go on to be seen as the best of such in Nigeria. Medium-sized school in a medium-sized city means I could easily reach both ends of town, especially with the sensible and lovable road networks on campus. This helped improve my social interactions, and in turn my student experience. A great deal. Indeed, AAUA has every single student in mind.So much more to say! But Ill conclude by registering that AAUA is a model institution, known for giving students the opportunity to succeed, and her graduates are proven assets across the globe!
ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNIVERSITY IS A REPLICA OF A TWENTY FIRST CENTURY UNIVERSITY.

Nice Structure but poor services
This school indeed offers quality education but also faced with many challenges among which poor electricity is (both in and outside the campus).
Our school is one of the best University but at the same time our unseriousness is nothing to speak of
Its a wonder entertainment house to be in

A 21st Century University properly Called.

It waz trilling
Adekunle Ajasin University was first established as Obafemi Awolowo University in March 1982 by the government of the old Ondo State, headed by the late Chief Michael Adekunle Ajasin. The immediately succeeding military government of Navy Commodore Michael Bamidele Otiko changed its name to Ondo State University in 1985. Its relocation to Akungba Akoko in the new Ondo State became imperative in 1999, following the creation of a new state out of the old Ondo three years earlier in October 1996. The bill backing the relocation was signed into law by the then Governor of the State, Chief Adebayo Adefarati, in November 1999, and that prompted the movement of a crop of workers from the old site in Ado-Ekiti to Akungba Akoko on 1 December 1999.

A state government owned citadel of learning
Fantastic. Twice best State University in Nigeria.
The university is big and still developing but Im not sure about the academic standard
Fairly cloudy
This is not just a school. From the view from outside, the school is built with respect to Mother Nature. The environment is just so peaceful for books and acts to enter ones medulla Oblongata. If you want to come, come and face your book squarely. Come and conquer. Be the best and the future holds something great for Champions like you. Thank you, Temi.
Educational institution at it best
A state university 21st century in nature My Alma Mata!!!!🙂
Great here
The bad road is the only ill-fated about the community/school... The government has neglected the bad road that causes accidents and loss of lives daily
Cool
Akungba is an environment with excess of everything meaning the weather is out of point, without student akungba is a dessert
Very adventure
Wonderful and reliable
Network and Electricity is a major issue there.
